Kruck carefully manuveured through the airield just outside of Purelgetha, a smile playing at his lips. Just a half-an-hour ago he'd talked to two of his allies, Mequidra and Gen about meeting here and doing something big. Really big. Something so big, it would get all of the goddy goodies out and start a big war.
Kruck malicious grin grew all the bigger as he thought of this. He landed his sleek aircraft on the landing area and turned off the engine. He had two guns with him, along with about a dozen mines and grenades.
This is gonna be good.
Kruck rubbed his sweaty palms together, stepping out onto the concrete flloor of the air hanger. He looked around for the two, impatiently at his watch, then back around.
Where are they?!

The swishing of wings signified the approach of the shapeshifter. Mequidra landed gracefully on the ground and looked around.
[glow=gold,2,300]"Many will die from this, Kruck. Are you prepared for the destruction here?"[/glow]
He looked around at the city. He'd been here before, but not with plans to devastate it. He wondered how thoroughly Kruck'd thought through his plan, and if it would work well . . .

Gen stood next to Kruck, no noise or movement signaling her arrival, she was just . . . there. Her lip twitched maliciously as she grinned with anticipation. "Of course he's prepared," she snapped at the shapeshifter. "He knows better than to bring me out of my home into unprepared danger."
This was more of a threat than a statement, Gen was trying to establish her position in the group as a leader, for she knew that she was important. She just needed to make sure that they knew as well. Her hands tingled with magic as she mentally prepared herself for the stealth that this attack would require. She hadn't trained, yet she knew that there was no way that they could lose.
No. Not this time.
She looked towards her compainions and nodded briskly. "Whenever you're ready."

"I'm ready. But first, the plan." Kruck looked calmly around to see if anyone was noticing them. To his relief, there were few people in the hanger with them to begin with. And those who were were consumed with their own thoughts, deeds, or places to go. He abrubtly turned his attention back to the plan.
He lay a peice of paper on a nearby wooden crate. spreading it out. At first glance, it looked nothing more then scribbiling or quite an odd drawing, but Kruck knew the importance of it. And the hours it had taken him to draw it up.
"This is the most intricate map you will ever see of this city. It has every alley, building and whatever else is important in the city. Here is our plan; listen carefully. I will give you each 5 mines, timed ones. I've divided the city in three sections. This is where you will lay your mines, Gen." Kruck pointed to the various lil' red dots on the right of the map.
"Mequidra." He pointed to five more dots, but they were on the left side of the map.
"Here are five mines each," He said, handing them to Gen and Mequidra, respectively.
"We'll meet back here afterwards and get the hell out of here. However, don't worry, we'll still be close enough to see this place get blown to bits."
Kruck grinned maliciously. "Now lets go!" He exclaimed. "Oh, one more thing I forgot. Here."
Kruck handed each of them an expensive radio. "These are if anything goes wrong. But I trust nothing will." Looking hard at each of them, he was sure that nothing would. Sneering, he asked, "Any questions?"

Mequidra reached out and made a quick copy of both the radio and the map. He then looked quizzically at Kruck.
[glow=gold,2,300]"Yes, actually. What will we do after the mines are set? I assume you have a master detonator, but even after that. The city will be in turmoil. Are we simply going to vanish, or do we plan to destroy more things manually?"[/glow]
The shapeshifter felt the deepest desire within him to metamorphose into his most powerful form. He also felt a sense of dread, however, and wondered how good Kruck's judgement really was . . .

"I just told you they were timed, baka." Kruck spoke gruffly. He was itching to do this. "And if anyone survives this blast, we will do them the favor of killing them after."
He looked at Meq and then at Gen. "Are we ready now, folks?"

Gen responded with a curt nod and walked over to the map. She took careful notice where she was assigned and then turned towards the two. She cracked a smile. "See you soon." And with that, she was gone.
The wind blew through Gen's unbound hair and she fingered the precious mines in her coat pocket. She glanced around the area that she had been assigned to and sneered. Full of overly happy people bustling around doing important things.
But not for much longer now . . .
She reached down to the base of the closest building and placed one of her mines inside of the air vent, where it wouldn't be found. Defiance flashed in her eye and she moved on silently, trying to 'blend'.
One down four to go. And fifty-eight minutes left.

"Bye-" Kruck lookeda round for Gen but she was apparently set off for her task at hand.
He looked over at Mequidra. "Good luck, my friend." He noddded and walked into a aalleyway straight ahead of him, for that was where he was going to lay his mines.
He walked over to a popular hotel and discreetly knelt ddown. In a few moments it was set.
One down, four to go....
Kruck hurried off down the street. An hour was left before the mines woudl explode.

Mequidra melted as the others left and took on the color of the ground. He seeped quickly through the cobblestones to his first destination. Slowly, the shapeshifter reared up, looked his mine over, and placed securely on the wall indicated by the map. On a suspician, he leaned in to listen to the bomb.
[glow=gold,2,300]That's unusual. Shouldn't it be ticking?[/glow]
The shapeshifter slowly set out towards the next stop.

DarkUmbra had seen Kruck lay the device at the foot of the hotel. He was crawling in the shadows at the top of the building. He was silently meditating untill he saw Kruck. How oddly specific that he should attempt his evil here. He crawled stealthilly to the device, and, to his belief, un-noticed pulled three or four wires out. It was a mere shell now. He continued to follow Kruck remaining in the shadows. What was he doing?

Gen smiled pleasantly at the strangers and walked inside of an old swordsman's shop. She let her face fall, glad that she no longer had to 'blend'. She glanced around the store, thankfully not finding anyone that could even attempt to stop her, and walked behind the salesman's counter. She leaned down and attatched one of her mines.
As she made to leave, she noticed the diamond encased hilt of a sword glittering in the sun. It was in a big fancy case. She smiled maliciously and walked over to it.
No, I have a job to do . . .
She walked regretfully away from the shop, but not before noting the street address carefully. She would return.
As soon as I'm done. Two down, three to go with fory- five minutes left.

Mequidra stopped short. He had wandered near the edge of his territory, he knew, but that wasn't what concerned him. What did was the mass of shadows sitting on a wall. He knew full well who it was.
Slowly, he slid over to DarkUmbra, and reached an arm up. The arm shaped itself into a long, rifle-like gun and pointed itself at DarkUmbra's head.
[glow=gold,2,300]"Interesting. I did not expect to see you here. But that doesn't matter. Tell me, do you fancy seeing your shadowy brains sprayed across the wall by this bullet? If not, I suggest you leave. Now."[/glow]
The hammer on Mequidra's gun clicked. He had every intention of blasting the shadow-man into the ozone if he had to.

Rooftops and drowish magiks... What a pleasent day...
A strainuis task but a task she desired to conqure. It was highly unatural for a Wood-Elf to use Drow Magiks and hexes but of Course, Renia was not like other elves of her kind. A reason she was intombed since birth till her escape 6 months ago. she had inherited her Drowish ancesters soul, Skia's soul and an android's that was connected to Skia in her past life. Renim.
All this concluded to one solid fact. She was a tainted being. Her soul coilling round her past lives dark souls, and thus she now had the ability, unlike wood elves, to use the forbidden arts.
At first it was extremely painful, blood oozing from her eyes as her body began fighting against the evil magiks she was trying to harness. However, her will was too strong to let this deflect her from her from her goals and finaly the pain subsided and she created her first drowish spell.
Transportal.
The first time she went throgh her drowish portal was like your mind being sliced through with an axe, Renia's mind close to splitting with the pain that came with shifting from one location to the other. In fact, she had alin unconcious for many days after he first attempt, bleeding from her ears and eyes untill night became day and day became night.
Practice, however, makes perfect.
How true that was....
Now we speak of the present. Renia's thought were full of War, many people had been talking of events that could only mean thus and she was trembeling with excitment. How she ended here however was merely by coincidence, practicing her transportal magik and her new favorite toy, Dark Lightning.
It was such a burden to learn, but learn she must...

As soon as the concealed figure heard the voice, he knew at once it was his once friend Mequidra. What were Kruck, Mequidra, and one other he did not regognize doing within the city? Oh well it did not matter, he would stop them. . .you know unless he got totally blasted to bits.
He groaned as he tried to emit his shroud to cover the entire, what would inevitably be, the battle field. He opened a portal in the nearby shadows, and emerged behind Mequidra, but within a nice little nook, that he hoped no one had noticed. He was tired and he knew it. In his present state he could barely conjure a knife let alone enough magic to defeat the shapeshifter. He crouched totally concealed by his shroud and the surrounding shadows, and began to silently meditate.

((Yey. This will be quite entertaining indeed.))
Mequidra closed his eyes and smiled. Shapeshifter eyes were nearly useless; his most effective sense was touch. And the shroud of shadows would pick up any movement within, making DarkUmbra even easier to track. The only problem, as Mequidra saw it, was that he no longer could sense the shadow man's psychic energy.
[glow=gold,2,300]Mmm. This creature was once my friend, and has now chosen to get in the way of my plans. What an intriguing situation. It will be best if he still cares for me. That will make my job ever so much easier . . .[/glow]
Something suddenly occured to him; the time bombs he was carring with him, and the thirty-five minutes now remaining. He morphed his hand into a copy of the radio Kruck had shown him.
[glow=gold,2,300]"Kruck! Gen! There has been a change of plans! Our mission is being sabotaged by DarkUmbra. I am requesting backup at my second detonation point, and quickly!"[/glow]
With that, the shapeshifter turned one hand into a photon cannon*, held it aloft with another, and began firing blindly.
(*Photon cannon uses concentrated light particles. Seemed appropriate on a shadow being.)
