Tira narrowed her eyes at the man cloaked in black as if daring him to take a step closer to her. Although she also sensed that the dark stranger did not like the sun. But nonetheless, she did not want company.
Wise decision to move away.
Tira watched the man recoil back onto his horse, seemingly retreating back to two people sitting on a bench. No doubt the two of them, Karunii and herself, had attracted some attention. She silently cursed the Fates again for landing them in a place that not only was completly naked to the sun but was also inhabited by people. She seethed with darkness and loathe once again.
Reminding herself of everything she had learned on controlling one's self, Tira traced her dark fire along her roll of wire to calm herself. The scowl on her face settled into her normal empty expression. Although for her, an empty expression was still a very cold glare to anyone else who witnessed it.
I need a drink...a strong one at that...

Matt still sat on the bench not paying attention to anything. He eyed the two newcomers. His eyes rested on the wire that Tira was carrying. He stood up and moved closer. As he walked up he pointed to Tira and smiled.
"YOu in the communication's business? You know we havent used wires in years....everything is wireless now...haven't you heard?"
Matt loved making fun of people. Even dangerous ones....He was always so cocky like that. He just couldn't help it. He really didnt care either. It got him into quite a few fights also. Most of which he won...a few of which he was lucky to get out alive.

Tira's eyes moved slowly towards the direction of the annoying voice. Her appearance remained calm for he had still done nothing serious to provoke her. Those who poked fun were always the weakest. To her, this new person was not even worthy to witness her skill.
And I'm surrounded by complete dolts...wut else?
"Where can I get a drink?"
Her voice was icy and she still wore her expression of indifference which was more like a glare. Although it was hot out...she still craved for the cool liquid fire that ran down one's throat that only alchohol could give her. Her eyes scanned around her surroundings in hope of finding some sort of tavern or bar.

Karunii’s eyes slowly lowered when Tira refused his offer. I wish she would warm up to people more. Born of the dark…perhaps that’s what she meant.
Despite being refused, Adriel would not be denied. Ignoring Tira’s black fire and apparent anger, he approached her with a gentle smile upon his face. Adriel bowed to her most courteously before he spoke.
“Milady, I am grateful for this opportunity to meet you. It is a great honor to know such a beautiful and strong willed lady. I pray that you would allow me the benefit of being your acquaintance. But regardless of whether you shall have me or not, know that I respect you greatly, and will ever be in your service, should you choose to call upon me for anything.”
Karunii had remained silent the entire time he had watched Adriel address Tira with the utmost respect and dignity. Though I hardly know him, Adriel is both friendly and kind. I’m fortunate to have been sent to a planet where there is such a man as he.
Then Karunii’s eyes caught a glimpse of Tira as she removed her hat. Though she did not keep her hair in order, its deep crimson made her appear absolutely radiant. Karunii quietly took in her beauty, smiling slightly as he thought to himself.
Tira is truly beautiful. How much more so would she be if she would put her cold darkness behind her.
When Tira began to messily stuff her hair back into her hat, Karunii caught the glimpse of a dark looking man out of the corner of his eye. His clothes were all black, and a long brimmed black hat covered much of his face. Karunii at first thought him slightly frightening. But after a few moments, Karunii reconsidered him entirely.
That guy looks cool! His hat is so classy. And he looks strong. But he doesn’t look like he’s very sociable…maybe I can talk to him later.

Tira redirected her attention towards the man who was greeting her. Cocking her eyebrow at the man, she wondered why she should ever have to depend upon other people. Yet...that could also prove to be her advantage sometimes. However she doubt that they would ever work together for anything.
"Thank you. Where can I get a drink?"
Tira's voice was icy and smooth. Although she somewhat liked the idea of having somebody to call upon if she needed help, she knew she would have to destroy her own honor before calling upon another for help. Relying on others made one weak. She also did not like how sugar coated Adriel's words were.
Her eyes moved once again to look at Karunii who still seemed to be throughly enjoying himself. She couldn't help but have the slightest smile on her face.
At least one person enjoys this wretched world...

Adriel bowed again, an unbase smile on his lips. “Ah, milady. I shall find one for you. I won’t be more than a minute.”
At that, Adriel turned around and walked towards the hotel. Karunii watched him until he was out of sight. He wondered why Adriel was going through so much for Tira, even though she didn’t seem to appreciate his company. Within a very short amount of time, Adriel returned. In his hand he held a large glass full of an alcoholic mix of brandy, cherry liqueur, and vodka. Karunii’s eyebrows perked up a bit when he saw the drink. It even had cherries in it, which were exactly to Tira’s liking.
That’s exactly the same drink Tira had back in Sparka. How did he know what to get her? “As you desired” Adriel said, handing Tira the beverage. He bowed again, a bright smile playing upon his lips. He winked at Karunii, as if he were making this all a joke, or some game that only he knew of. Adriel walked over to Karunii and spoke to him.
“Well Karunii, you most certainly seem to be somewhat foreign to this world. Perhaps you wish to explore it for yourself?” he asked.
“Um…yes, I would like that very much…” Karunii said hesitantly. “…But I was kinda hoping to meet some more people first…”
Adriel laughed slightly and looked towards Matt and the others. “You mean them? Ah, don’t you worry. There will be time enough for that later. But for now, there is someone I must insist that you meet immediately.”
Karunii looked at Adriel interestingly, tilting his head out of curiosity. “Meet…someone? Like who?”
“Follow me, if you wish to meet him. I think you’ll find him…most fascinating.”
Karunii nodded, and followed Adriel into the hotel that Gai had taken Rayan into. Adriel glanced back at Karunii slyly before leading him up several flights of stairs.
This is wonderful. Though I was pulled away from Sparka, I’m already meeting people in this realm and making friends. I wonder who this person is…

Tira accepted the drink with seemingly indifference, but she was in truth she was surprised. Her suspicion of this Adriel grew. The darkness within her stirred, waking up all her senses. This feeling almost resembled that of a hunt... Nonetheless, Tira took a sip of her drink. She closed her eyes for a moment, enjoying the burning yet cooling liquid run over her tongue and then down her throat. She would not be surprised if this was the only thing that she could enjoy on this wretched realm.
When her eyes fluttered open again, Adriel was leading Karunii away from her. She swiftly followed Karunii. She was not about to let Karunii out of her sight on a world that she knew nothing about as of yet and with a guy that she knew nothing about on top of that. Deep down inside she had marked herself as Karunii's protectress. She had killed for him. Before she killed only for herself, even when others had offered her money or other rewards to kill for them, she refused. The incident back at the Den of Thieves on Sparka was the first time she had willingly and fully killed for somebody else than for herself.
I'm not letting you out of my sight just yet...
She followed Karunii swiftly, sipping her strong alcoholic drink slowly. The cloud of shadows swirled around her, following her every step.

Sitting in a chair near Rayan, Gai kept to himself. He wouldn't leave or go talk to others until his friend was better and standing on his feet again."Rayan, come on buddy. You've got to get better. We have to finish up with this clan so the government will leave you alone. That's who to blame. Wake up and ride yourself of them." he said as he stared at his unconsious friend.
THere was a knock at the door and Gai got up to go answer it. "yes?" he asked as the man at the door said heloo."Sir, I was wondering if you'd like some food? You've been in here for a rather long time and had nothing to eat or drink." said the man at the door. This was the manager of the hotel Gai thought.
"No, I'd like a glass of water." he said blantinly."I have no reason for food right now. THank you for the offer thoguh." he said with a smile. As the man gave him the glass of water he bowed and turned to leave, just to turn back again."Hey, are you with that group of rough looking characters?" he asked Gai.
"Yes." and that was all he said. He closed the door and took up his place at his friends side."I won't leave you Rayan, not until you're better again." he said.Shimmer, come quickly, I can't heal him. I need your touch. Only you can save him now I'm afraid. he thoguht to himself as he looked out the window, intensifying his brian waves to let her know of her location.

(sorry David...I already typed this up, so I'll have to ignore your post for now. Let's just say mine happened before you got into Rayan's hotel room, okay? or something like that...)
Adriel led Karunii to the third floor of the hotel. He walked over to a door with the numbers “3046” on it and slowly opened it. He motioned with his hand for Karunii to follow him inside. Karunii wasn’t quite sure why he wasn’t speaking to him, but he entered the room anyway.
Karunii looked about the hotel room. It was white and plain, with a few vases of decorative flowers gracing the otherwise empty tables standing next to the walls. In one corner was a bed, covered by a mound of blankets. Karunii came closer to the bed, peering over the covers. There in the bed lay a man, quite unconscious and weary. His chest was wrapped by bandages, and he was laid back, as if recovering from a great encounter with a vile enemy.
Adriel put his hand on Karunii’s shoulder and smiled. Karunii turned to him with a puzzled look. “Is…this who you wanted me to meet?” Karunii asked. Adriel nodded, remaining silent. Karunii looked back at the resting stranger, confused. “…But…he’s asleep…”
Adriel snickered good humouredly. “Of course he is. He will awaken soon. Just be patient.” Karunii stood there silently, looking the man over again. He noticed that his face began to twitch, and he slowly began to stir.
Rayan’s eyes fluttered open. The world around him was all a blur; he couldn’t distinguish the wall from an Elvis impersonator. He put his hand to his achy forehead as he tried to get his eyes to focus. A paralyzing feeling rushed through his head; Rayan still felt numb from his encounter with the possessed blade a few hours before. Slowly, he forced himself to sit up. A slight grimace was on his face; his head and chest still hurt. Rayan rubbed his eyes and, realizing that someone was in the room with him, said at last, “Who is it?”
When Rayan fully opened his eyes at last, he saw before him a young boy, who Rayan judged to be about seventeen. He had been silently gazing at Rayan the entire time. Rayan blinked several times at the sight of him; he wasn’t sure if his vision was cleared up yet.
What the…
He looked remarkably similar to Rayan in almost every way. They shared the same blue hair, the same brightness in their eyes, the same gentle complexion. Rayan estimated that his ‘twin’ was approximately an inch or two shorter than he was. They were indeed so similar that Rayan could only distinguish two noticeable differences between their appearances: That Rayan’s eyes were green, and the other’s blue, and that Rayan’s form was not as soft as his double’s. Rayan smirked to himself slightly and thought, Man, I didn’t think anyone would ever cosplay as ME…
The two of them continued to closely observe the other, until Adriel graciously interrupted. “It is good to see that you slept well, Master Stiger” he began. “I do suppose that you are wondering who this young boy is! I would think that it would be best for you to introduce yourselves to each other.”
Karunii hesitated for a moment before he decided to speak. “Um…nice to meet you. I’m Karunii.” He stopped after those words, not knowing what to say.
Rayan smiled slightly at Karunii. “Heh, nice to meet you too. People call me Rayan.” Karunii smiled and nodded gratefully. His smile seemed to cast light about the entire room. Rayan felt a strange, friendly warmth growing on him as he looked into Karunii’s bright, comforting eyes.
“If I may, Rayan, I intend to take my leave now” Adriel said, seemingly ready to leave Rayan and Karunii in the room to talk. Rayan nodded, and Adriel bowed and headed towards the door.
“You met Adriel already, huh?” Rayan said, thumbing in Adriel’s direction.
“Yes…He is already a good friend to me” Karunii replied.
Rayan nodded and said, “Yeah…that Adriel. I just met him a few hours ago, and already he saved my life and acts like the nicest guy I’ve ever known. I’m not surprised he befriended you. Say, where did you come from, little buddy?” Rayan asked with the intent of drawing Karunii out.
“Um…Tira and I came here from Sparka, though I’m not really sure how…”
“Sparka?” Rayan said with an intrigued look on his face. “Yeah, I know about that planet. You know Matt? He’s been to Sparka. His girlfriend Aranôlëien is from there, too. Were you born there?”
Karunii put his finger to his chin and tried to remember. “No…I don’t think so. I was in some kind of metal room in space before I crashed onto Sparka.”
“Metal room? You mean an escape pod? …Hm…maybe it just might have been…ah, never mind” Rayan said, shaking his head. “So, you keep mentioning a ‘Tira.’ Care to tell me about her?”
Karunii thought quietly for a moment about Tira. “Well…she’s the first friend I ever made. She cares about me, that I’m sure of. Tira has always been kind to me…She even saved my life from Veresh. Yet, something about her troubles me…Tira says that she is ‘born of the dark.’ I think that she has a deep hatred stored inside of her that she refuses to let go of. I…I don’t want that hate to destroy her…” Karunii’s face seemed to be veiled with a slight curtain of sadness as he spoke.
Rayan’s mild interest had quickly turned more attentive as Karunii described Tira. He immediately noticed that Karunii had not mentioned a single detail on her physical appearance. Rayan concluded that the exclusion of her physical traits was a sign that Karunii had no romantic interest in her at all, and that his emotions were purely that of concern and friendship. He pondered this a bit further, and at last he asked, “You care deeply for her?”
“Yes. Tira is my best friend. She is always watching out for me, protecting me. I would do anything for her.”
Rayan noted that the tone of Karunii’s voice also indicated that he cared for Tira as a friend and not a lover. Rayan wasn’t exactly sure why he was interested in knowing this, but he was all the same satisfied with what Karunii had said.
“Well then, you’re very lucky to have her as your friend” Rayan said, patting Karunii on the shoulder. Karunii smiled, and all the subtle disheartenment he was feeling vanished from his face.
“Yes…”
Just outside the room, Adriel’s ear was pressed close to the door. He had been listening to the two of them the entire time. After a moment more, Adriel turned around and began to walk towards the stairway.
“Ah, they are fairing well. I had been hoping that they would make good acquaintance with each other. They shall learn their true nature soon enough. Let them form their bonds of friendship” Adriel said quietly to himself. He descended the stairs slowly, looking about into the shadows of the stair room as he went. A slight joyful smirk played upon his lips. Seeing no one, he continued downward, and said, “Karunii is safe, Tira. He’s in a room on that floor. No harm has come to him. Go and see him for yourself, if you like.” Adriel spoke in a way that reflected that, although he didn’t see Tira anywhere, he still knew that she had followed them. Adriel slowly continued down the staircase, expecting Tira to stealthily slip by him to see Karunii. In fact, it seemed that he was dawdling because he was waiting for her to act upon her instinct to protect Karunii at all times.

~TAKESHIS POV~ Meanwhile in the streats of Dathomir Takeshi had just gotten off his last day of work as a bartender, and as a parting gift his boss gave him five gallons of Zythum O.o (if you dont know wat zythum is than your loss ) He was strolling down the street (as well as you can with five gallons of alchohal slung over your back) looking for a fresh start on the road of the warrior. He had his Hacker in hand and took a gallon of Zythum and started to drink some of it straight from the keg. [glow=green,2,300]Ahhhh! Ain't life gorgous, I think I might go kiss the first lady I see. [/glow] He shouted this to about 100 people in a drunken voice as people gave him crazy looks. He just smiled and looked for someone to kiss. [glow=green,2,300]AHA! you there, yes you lady, howd you like a little kissy on the cheek, or maybe the lips? HIC![/glow] He just so happend to point out the lady that D had terrorized just a while earlier, it was clearly not her day. Before she knew it there was a drunk kid next to her trying to kiss her, so whats she do cry for help of coarse! Within seconds two big men came up and punched Takeshi in the stomach, grabbed his shirt and threw him fifty feet east. CRASH! THUD! "What are you thinking breaking my plants like that!"WHAM! SMACK! Once that little fiasco was over Takeshi stumbled to his feet and staggered away towards a gathering of people he saw and took another swig from the keg. Surprisingly, this secound gulp seemed to bring back some of Takeshis lost senses and he could feel a strong fighting energy coming from this group of people. he walked their direction. These were the people in the fight merchant clan. [glow=green,2,300]Hello there chums, well your not actually my chums but oh what the hey. Whats whole party about, I can tell that you are not just some normal street goers. Especially from the weapons you wield.[/glow] Takeshi tapped his weapon on the ground as a shout out for LOOK AT ME I HAVE A WEAPON TOO! D stared at him, and than answered back with the explenation of the clan, and how it was for people, not drunks. Takeshi (now completely sober) ignored the last part of that and replied with a [glow=green,2,300]Oh really, I need to get in a fighting mood myself, where do I sign in.[/glow] Takeshi looked where D pointed and filled out the application to great extent, answering each question with as much detail as possible. He than strolled over to the party like he was a million dollars and offered some of these people some Zythum. He told them about how he was a bartender and could make anything they wanted, pulling out another sack that was previously slung over his shoulder. This contained a bunch of drinks, a mixer and some olives and cherries. [glow=green,2,300]So, whatll it be?[/glow]

Tira stood in the shadows, her blood red eyes flashing dangerously when Adriel had addressed her. She did not like him. Not one bit. She spoke nothing as she continued on her way up the stairs towards Karunii. Her body moved with the shadows...almost as if she were just a mere shadow herself. Not a single sound was made from her as she continued to ascend the stairs towards the room that Karunii was in.
What buisness does Adriel have bringing up Karunii here?
Tira arrived at the door, she could feel Karunii's presence through it. Her hand gribbed the metal handle, instantly turning the metal cold once she made contact with it. Pushing it open, she slipped into the room. Shadows were clinging to her on the floor, still answering her call to them when she was out in the desert sun. She silently bid them back for now.
Her eyes shot towards the injured man in bed, Rayan. Her blood red eyes darkened even more as she narrowed her eyes at him. Unlike others, she did attack the weak when needed. And if Rayan posed as a threat to Karunii, she would strike. She spoke to Karunii although her eyes continued to piece into Rayan's.
"Who are you talking to?"

Karunii instantly turned to look at Tira as she slid into the room. His face beamed brightly at the sight of her. He immediately rushed over to her and embraced her; His heart seemed to burst with gladness.
“Tira! How good it is for you to come!” Karunii said, looking up into his friend’s flashing eyes. After a few brief moments of warm embrace, Karunii realized that Tira looked fairly serious. His eyes trailed her gaze over to Rayan, who was staring right back at her.
Perhaps she doesn’t trust him… Karunii thought.
Karunii, determined that Tira should become more trustful of Rayan, decided to introduce his new friend to her. “Tira! This is my new friend Rayan. He knows about Sparka. Rayan told me that we didn’t travel too very far from Sparka at all…we’re only about a world or two away. I told him all about you. He already respects you! Isn’t that wonderful, Tira?”
Karunii smiled brightly at her, but in his heart he felt that Tira was NOT likely to think of this as wonderful. He nervously awaited her to speak her mind. Meanwhile, Rayan was nervously scratching his head, sweat dropping.
“Oh, heya, Tira…how ya doin’?” Rayan said in a pressured way, feeling intimidated by Tira’s dark, cold form. “Karunii’s great kid, isn’t he? Heh, sorry if I ‘borrowed’ him without your permission…my bad.” Rayan smiled half-heartedly as he looked Tira over. He noticed that, though Tira lacked warmth and friendliness, she was extremely beautiful.
Holy plasma shards…I can’t believe Karunii doesn’t see how friggin’ hot she is…dang…not only that, but he’s allowed to hug her whenever he feels like it! What a lucky dog!
Rayan said nothing more, fearing that Tira’s mood might take a turn for the worse, to his disadvantage. Heh…please, don’t hurt me…I was nice to your little friend. EEP, that wire looks sharp…oh geez, don’t kill me… Rayan thought anxiously to himself as he eyed Tira’s deadly wire. Maybe Karunii should teach you how to be less dangerous! Though, the dangerous types are always good…

Tira continued to pierce her eyes into Rayan's, of course noticing the similarities between him and Karunii. She did not like that. She did not like how Fyia seemed to be somehow connected to Sparka...and that she did not know this connection.
Her hand raised up towards Karunii, her fingers slightly bent as if beckoning something. A crystal flew out of Karunii's belt and into her hand. It was her fairy crystal that she had placed into Karunii's hand to heal him during the fight at the Den of Thieves. With a scowl, she flicked her wrist and it zoomed towards Rayan. It seemed as if it would hit him between the eyes. But just before it hit, the crystal stopped and began to glow a soft pink hue.
THis will just be to show Karunii that I will not harm him...as of yet.
The soft pink glow slowly crawled over Rayan's skin, almost like living transparent rose pink shadows. It seeped into him body, partially healing him. She refused to completly heal him. In fact, she was not even healing halfway. That would be too gracious of a gesture for her. The soft pink glow then disappeared leaving only a few lingering pink sparkles as traces that fairy magic had taken place on him. After a few seconds those sparkles had disappeared as well. Her fairy crystal flew back into her hand, and her delicate fingers closed over it.
I can't have you fully healed...now can i?
Instantly the room became considerably darker and colder. She was NOT pleased at all about the deed she had just performed. Her hand slid smoothly over her roll her wire, resisting the urge to injure Rayan to make up for her "good deed." She was getting too soft. A picture of Karunii flashed through her eyes.
And it was his fault.

Rayan flinched as the crystal flew straight at his face. He instinctively clenched his eyes shut, expecting it to make contact. When Rayan noticed that nothing had happened to him, he peeped his eyes open. The pink fairy crystal stood suspended in the air, glowing a soft pink. Rayan felt a soothing sensation creep over his entire body. He relaxed and leaned back against the bed frame and smiled slightly.
“…Thank you, Tira. I was…not expecting that. I think it helped. Well, a little bit…” Rayan said softly.
Karunii, surprised and excited when he saw what Tira had done, embraced her again and looked up at her with an affectionate smile. “Thank you, Tira! I had completely forgotten about the crystal you gave me. I didn’t realize I had it.”
Karunii’s smile began to slowly melt. Tira did not feel the same. She did not feel comfortable or gentle as she had been in the School of Darkness in Sparka. Karunii began to get worried that Tira did not enjoy Rayan’s company, for one reason or another.
She looks as if she intends to hurt him. She’s got the same dark fire in her eyes that she had when he killed Veresh…
Karunii tried to hide his worried expression by looking down. His eyes fell upon the pink fairy crystal that Tira had given him during the fight for his life. Karunii slowly reached for the crystal in Tira's hand and clasped it tightly. He gently nuzzled it against his cheek and shut his eyes. Karunii treasured Tira’s gift greatly, more so now that she had used it on his friend Rayan. It seemed to help relieve some of the anxiety Karunii felt regarding Tira’s coldness. But he still feared that Tira might again be consumed by the passion to kill.
Please Tira, don’t give in to the darkness within you. Hating Rayan would only harm you…and us. Don’t do this to yourself…

Tira did not need to see Karunii's expression to know that he was worried. She could feel it radiating off of him. Sighing internally, she decided that she would try to control her temper. She would do it for Karunii because if she did not, then she may not be able to follow Karunii everywhere and protect him. Warmth and light returned to the room once again.
"I have merely only given you a headstart on your healing process... I have also speeded up the healing process. You will recover quickly."
Her hand moved to the tip of her hat as she pulled it off. Her dark crimson hair tumbled out messily, yet it still looked amazing. She looked more friendly, and she knew that, and hopefully Karunii would relax. Tira clipped her hat to her belt as she turned towards Karunii.
"Karunii, that crystal will stay with you always unless I call it. It is...a gift from me. Even when you lose it, it will find its way back to you."
Tira had almost said that it was a fairy gift, implying that she was a fairy. She was getting careless now. Her one and once only fear was people discoverering that she was a fairy...now she had another fear...losing Karunii. She hated how emotions were tying her down.
