((i know this sounds unreasonable...but could it be possible to postpone the battle till the 27th? I go to mexico tomorrow and wont be back till then. Your decision...im gonna miss so much if u start it tho...and im a key player so far.))
Matt's smile faded as he listened to Rayan. He got into a more serious mode. Rayan always took everything to heart- he dwelled on things. Matt had almost totally forgotten about their little dispute the previous day. Why dwell on the past, anyways? It just brings pain and heartache. Dwelling on the future keeps you alive. Of course, Matt didn't want to hurt Rayan's feelings, so he simply replied to his apology. He put his hand on Rayan's shoulder and smiled.
"Hey, chill out, man. It’s no big deal. Something like that couldn't come between us...anyways, I shouldn't have outbursted also. My fault...."
He paused for a second and looked around.
"...You’re not gonna hug me…are you?"
Matt grimaced.

Rayan gave a half-hearted smile as Matt reassured him in his Matt-like fashion that everything between them was fine. A single tear fell from his eye and splashed upon the floor, but Rayan quickly wiped away all other water in his eyes. Rayan felt like breaking down with thankfulness, but he didn’t want to embarrass himself, and he knew Matt would find it very awkward if he were to weep on him. Instead, he simply looked intently at Matt and smiled more with each word. He even snickered when Matt asked him the all-important question: "...You’re not gonna hug me…are you?"
“No…heh, I won’t do that. Don’t worry…I’m not gonna weird you out like when I first saw you in Fyia…”
By now, Rayan had finally regained his composure. He had been under a lot of stress recently, after having been chased around by a killer android reborn as a dark elf, jumping from a floating city, putting up with all the crap of the Puralgatha Council, the idiotic tendencies of his clan members, and many other things. Rayan tended to get somewhat emotional when under great stress, and it had been showing lately, although he tried hard to conceal it.
Rayan wasn’t really sure how to thank Matt, but suddenly an idea came into his mind. “Hey, Matt…Can I ask you a favor?” Rayan began, hesitating slightly. “If…you and Aran ever get married…can I be the best man at your wedding?”

Matt watched the tear fall to the floor and slapped his hand on his forhead. He then shook his head.
"Man there is absolutely no hope for you."
He laughed a bit and started to walk off, but then stopped short. ....what did this guy want of him? He had already laid it on almost too thick for Matt to handle. Matt's laid back, not really caring attitude was starting to work against him. As Rayan asked his question, Matt sighed.
"Lets....talk about that when we get there..."
He replied without turning around. He then walked off down the hall waving one arm in the air.
"I'm gonna get some sleep........where did Aran get off to anyways......ARAN!!!!!"
He then dissapeared around the corner yelling after Aran.

[anyways posting now! Whoo hoo! Sorry...I just wasn't in the groove to rp here for awhile. But now I'm back in. More coming later.]
Rayan sighed slightly as Matt ran off looking for Aran. He had been right- Matt still wasn’t much for “emotional” talk. I suppose he’s right, though, he thought. Maybe there IS no hope for me……heh.
Having got many problems off his chest, Rayan turned to go tell everyone about what he had learned in the meeting. But then he stopped short. He had a better idea. Instead of trying to gather everyone together and yelling at them, Rayan decided that he would write out his instructions and the mission details to each of them and put the information in each of their rooms. There was but one problem…he didn’t know where they were supposed to sleep.
“Basht…another thing I forgot to ask Mitsuko about…” Rayan said, annoyed. At that moment, a soldier approached him. Rayan turned and said, “Yeah? What is it?”
The soldier handed Rayan a slip of paper with room numbers on them. “Those are the numbers of the rooms you can use to sleep in. Follow me, I’ll show you where they are,” he said.
Rayan shrugged, glad that he didn’t have to worry about that detail any more, and walked down the hall with the soldier. He was lead to a small dormitory-type area, which Rayan found to be strange, since they were in a military building. But he didn’t bother asking why they were there- what mattered is that they had a place to stay for the night.
“There you are,” the soldier said, and promptly turned and walked away.
“Um, thanks!” Rayan said, smiling and waving at him appreciatively as he went off, despite the fact that the soldier did not notice. He looked down at his slip of paper, then at the rooms. In his mind, he began to decide who would have what room. Rayan decided that he would take the room closest to the base entrance; next to him, Matt, than Aran, D, and so on.
“Well, I guess that settles that…” he said to himself after sorting out each of the rooms to each of his clan members. “However…they gave us one room short…where’s that shifty desert dwelling dude going to sleep? Ah, well…that’s what he gets for not telling me his name, I guess.” Rayan shrugged, and then went into his room. Surprisingly, it had most of the things he needed in it all ready. He immediately proceeded writing out door signs for each room.
“Heh…I suppose I’d have enough rooms for that guy if I put Matt and Aran in the same room…” Rayan thought to himself. He laughed at his own crazy idea, and then said, “But…I dunno if Matt would like that too much…heh, heh…he might get steamed. Better not.”
Meanwhile…
Karunii looked up at Tira with bright, shining eyes. “Play? That sounds fun!” He began to joyfully jump up and down some with excitement. “Let’s do that, Tira!”
Suddenly, he stopped bouncing when an important thought occurred to him. “Um, Tira? What’s…sledding?” he asked. Karunii didn’t have a clue as to what it was; he had gotten so excited over it because Tira had made it sound exciting and fun.

James patted a friendly hand on Rayan's shoulder as he walked down the hall towards his room for the night. He pushed a green button in - the door-open button - and the pristine white door slid open with a soft hiss.
As James walked inside, he had a brief flash from his memory. Like a shutter opening, an image flooded into his eyes of a bullet-riddled body laying on the floor.
James snapped back into reality and the image faded away fast. Breathing heavily, he punched the red door-close button and stumbled into the bathroom. He pulled the cold water knob towards him and let the water run into his weathered, cupped hands. He splashed the cool liquid on his face and wiped it off with the hand-towel.
"...can't handle this shit..." He walked back into the living room and plopped on the couch, covering his eyes with his forearm...

Tira nodded at Karunii and looked around for a place to find some warm clothes. To her surprise, it was not as hard as she believed. There was a store nearby that sold winter clothes. Originally, she would have stolen the clothes...but she believed that Karunii would not appreciate such an act.
The doors slammed opened as she entered the store. The storeowner was in temporary shock to see how little she was wearing. She grabbed the storeowner's shirt, pulled him towards her as she glared at him with her dark eyes. Her eyes spoke death, but Tira would not kill him. She turned him around to look at Karunii who was outside the store.
"I need some warm clothes for him. He is cold, so please hurry up."
Tira released him as the storeowner somewhat stumbled to find the right clothes for Karunii. He choose two of the best quality sweaters that he could find, a few long sleeve shirts, the best jacket that was warm yet allowed plenty of mobility, snow pants, a pair of snow boots lined with wool, and finally gloves and a warm hat.
"Here miss...these are the best that we have..."
The storeowner was afraid to tell Tira how much everything was. But there was no need for Tira offered to pay. With a secret sigh of relief, the storeowner told Tira how much was needed as she paid him. Tira turned around, appearing to leave as the store owner bent his head down to breath a sigh of relief. In the midst while he was doing so, Tira turned around again and raised an eyebrow.
"Is there anything that I might use as a sled?"
The storeowner nodded and pointed to an array of sleds hanging on one side of the wall.
"Fetch me the best one that can seat two people."
The storeowner obediently went to get the best sled. When he handed it to her, Tira glowered at him with her coldest glare. Nervously, he told Tira that it was free of charge. Tira turned around again and walked out of the store without saying anything more. She walked back towards Karunii with everything in hand.
"Karunii, I want you to put on a sweater over your clothes. Also put on the jacket and snow pants. Then put on the snow boots. When you're done, put on your gloves and I'll help you put your hat on."
She handed all the clothes to him as she sat down on a bench with the sled at her side.

The fountain pen maintained this certain heaviness as Aran picked it up and held it poised above the line on which she had been instructed to sign. She carefully read over the contract, her eyes lingering on the text "The Corvinan Military does not resume any responsibility whatsoever for any casualties clan members receive during battle. Undoubtedly, Mitsuko would accept the contract without her signature . . . Rayan was the only key member here, and still, by placing the ink to the page and signing her name it felt as if she were signing away the group members' rights to their lives.
Over the last while, she had become all too accustomed to death and murder. But now she couldn't stand the thought. Perhaps it was just because she actually had a connection to these people . . . now her friends', and her lover's lives were on the line. The pen dropped, and she made a slight scribble, barely legible, reading Aranôlëien.
A deep sigh escaped from her lips and she placed the pen back on the table. She shook herself mentally and began going over plans . . . what magics she would need to verse up on overnight, where she would practice, and what, if any, weapons she could bring along. The sword was the only weapon she really knew how to wield, and yet . . . that seemed to bring with it nothing but trouble.
She stood up and started walking towards the door when she heard Matt’s voice calling for her. "I'm coming!" was her swift response, and her pace quickened. As she left the room, a sort of foreboding chill ran down her spine, almost confirming her suspicion that she had just done something very stupid. Still, a painted smile remained on her face, and she kept all emotion out of her eyes. To let the rest know how apprehensive she was about this upcoming battle would surely not be a good idea.
She took Matt's hand and began to walk towards the area where Rayan had gone to arrange bedding matters. She would not be sleeping that night anyway, but she may as well have a room to practice in.
Hopefully there wasn't too much furniture.

Karunii nodded obediently to Tira and did as he was told. He struggled to put the clothes Tira had given him over his own- he had never put on clothes before. It took him nearly five minutes to simply put on the two sweaters, outer jacket, and snow pants. The mittens took even longer. But after much difficulty, Karunii was at last dressed up for fun in the snow. His jacket was a mix of white and black stripes, matching with his black snow pants. After Tira helped him put on his blue winter hat, the storeowner stepped outside his store.
“Pardon me…but I just wanted to give you this as well…” he said, holding out a beautiful white scarf. “It’s free of charge. I just…wanted to make sure that the little guy stays warm. I’ll be going now, Miss…” And with that, he ducked back into his store, still wary of Tira and her ‘persuasive’ ways.
Tira helped wrap the scarf around Karunii’s neck, and stepped back to admire Karunii’s apparel. He looked utterly adorable; his bright blue eyes shone out clearly, and his mittens and fluffy scarf fit him perfectly.
“Are we ready yet, Tira?” Karunii asked her with his eyes fixed upon hers. He had been filled to the brim with anticipation from the moment Tira had mentioned sledding until then. Karunii’s face was bright and cheerful; he was filled with childlike joy.
Four hours later…
Rayan sat on his bed in his room inside of the military base. He had gathered together everything he thought he would need for the day ahead: his dual plasma autorifles lay beside his bed, as well as his sword. The New Wave soldiers had moved his airship inside the confines of the mountain, safe from being destroyed by Shurnon attack. Rayan had given each of his clan members instructions for the battle ahead; he had written each of them an individual note and put one in each member’s room, with the exception of Fay’t, whom he had spent the time to track down in person. The notes all said the same thing: Battle begins at 400 hours tomorrow. Follow my orders. –Rayan. That was all.
Well…I suppose I’m as ready as I’ll ever be… Rayan thought, staring at the wall. He had nothing left to do but sit and wait for the time to come. Rayan’s mind felt blank; the only thought present was of the upcoming battle.
After some time, Rayan heard a voice outside his door. It was childish and joyful- full of energy. He turned his attention to listening to whoever it was. “Hee, hee! That was fun, Tira!” the young voice said gleefully. “I can’t wait to do it again! I’ll see you later!” With that, the owner of the voice walked down the hall towards Rayan’s room.
Rayan heard a knock at his door. “Come in,” he said. The door slowly opened until it revealed the one whom he had heard talking before. His cheeks were rosy, and his clothes were fresh with bits of snow.
“Heya, Karunii. What have you been up to?” Rayan asked him.
Karunii’s eyes lit up. “Tira and I just went sledding! It was lots of fun! I can’t wait to do it again!” He was still very excited, although his frame showed some weariness.
Rayan smiled slightly. “That’s great,” he said in a semi-interested tone. “Tira enjoys spending time with you, doesn’t she?”
Karunii nodded. “Yes, Tira and I love being together!” he said happily. “Maybe you should join us sometime, Rayan!” Karunii suggested.
Rayan hesitated a bit, slightly embarrassed for a reason unknown even to him. “That’s…okay. So, um, why are you here? You wanted to tell me something?”
Karunii began to take off his scarf and hat, and said, “Um…nothing really. I just wanted to see how you were doing.” After he got his scarf and hat off, he took off his boots so as to not get puddles on the floor (even though it was too late). Karunii looked up at Rayan again. “…Well…actually, I guess I was kinda wondering what we’re here for.”
Rayan looked at him blankly. “We’re here to…help a friend of mine,” he told him, not wanting to reveal their true motives to Karunii if possible. Rayan wasn’t certain as to how he would take it, and he didn’t want to ruin any of Karunii’s innocence.
Karunii looked up at him intently and asked, “Helping him with what?”
Rayan sighed, seeing as there was no way to get around his young friend’s curious mind. He decided to tell him straight out. “Well, my friend is a general here at Corvina. He needs the help of me and the others who are part of this clan to fight against Shurnon in the upcoming battle.”
Karunii looked confused. “Battle?” He didn’t exactly know what it was or meant, but it didn’t seem to have a pleasant ring to it. Karunii began to get slightly nervous.
Rayan sighed again. “Yes, a battle. We have to fight to protect the capital of Corvina from an enemy army tomorrow.”
Karunii looked up at Rayan with a sense of alarm in his eyes. “Fight? You…you mean, people might…die?” Rayan nodded. Karunii looked down at the floor, feeling suddenly sad and afraid. “But…I don’t want anyone to suffer…” His lip began to quiver slightly as he thought about all the pain and death people were about to go through.
“I don’t want anyone to suffer, either,” Rayan said to Karunii coolly, “but that’s the way life is. People fight to get what they want, and everybody suffers for it.”
Karunii’s eyes were now glistened by the fresh tears in his eyes. “But…it doesn’t have to be that way! Why can’t people be nice to one another…?”
Rayan shook his head. “If anyone knew, maybe we wouldn’t be facing this war right now. But people can’t just change the way they are. Even if they want to, they just…can’t. Most don’t even want to.”
Karunii tried to hold back his tears as much as possible, with minimal success. “But…there has to be a way! It was never meant to be that people should suffer, and hate each other!”
“Maybe. But it makes little difference now what was intended to be. This is reality. It’s cruel, and you don’t have to like it. I sure don’t. But it is how things are, and as far as I can see it, nothing will ever change. At least, suffering will continue. No matter what good anyone brings into the world, evil will always clamp down and cause more problems. It mars every human heart, and nobody can change that. And if that can’t be changed, nothing else will ever really change, either.”
Tears ceased to flow from Karunii’s eyes. Instead, there was a look of fierce determination. His hands were clenched into fists, and his gaze fixed upon Rayan. “I know that’s how it is…but we can’t just give up! Someone, somewhere, must have the power to alter people’s hearts and minds! And I intend to find him! No matter what it should cost me…”
Rayan was slightly shocked upon seeing the determined look in Karunii’s eyes, and the emotion he poured into his words. He remained silent, simply watching Karunii with a blank stare, until he finally spoke. “…Where will you look for him?”
Karunii’s clenched fists loosened, and fell limply by his sides. His eyes transformed into a subtle melancholy. “I…don’t know…” he replied meekly.
At that moment, there was another knock at the door. “Come in,” Rayan said. In entered Adriel, much to Rayan’s surprise.
“Greetings, Master Stiger. I hope I’m not disrupting anything. I’ve come to bring Karunii to his room.” Rayan looked at Karunii, and then back at Adriel.
“No…that’s fine. I mean, so long as Karunii wants to go…” Rayan turned to his little friend. “You have any problem with that?” Karunii shook his head no. “Okay…well, see you around, little buddy.” As Karunii headed towards the door, Rayan turned his attention back to Adriel. “So, um…how did you get here, anyways? I kinda…forgot to take you in my airship earlier…” Rayan said, feeling embarrassed and quite stupid.
Adriel smiled. “Oh, don’t worry about it, Rayan. I have my own ways of getting around.” He then looked down at Karunii, who was ready to leave. “Well, so long, Master Stiger. I’ll be ready in time for tomorrow, I guarantee you. Well, come along, Karunii. Your room is this way.” With that, Karunii looked back at Rayan, waved goodbye, and followed Adriel to his room.
Rayan got up and shut the door, and then lay down upon his bed. He began to think about what Karunii had said to him, and about Karunii himself. Karunii is such a great kid. He may be the last pure person left... I’ll make sure nothing bad happens to him. He’s the last person to deserve suffering…
Rayan turned out the light, and crept under the bed coverings in the darkness. His mind wandered back to what Karunii had said earlier. "People were never meant to suffer"…But even if that’s so, it won’t change. I certainly can’t change anything. That’s why any participation in this battle, or this war, is meaningless, except for the pay. I mean, I can’t prevent the whole of Fyia from suffering…can I?
Rayan’s mind dwelled upon these thoughts deep into the night, for he was never one to be able to set aside his thoughts until he had pondered over them for a long time. Sleep was long in coming, and Rayan felt quite restless, until he finally fell into a restless, uneasy slumber…

Mitsuko woke up to the ringing of his alarm clock. As he was waking, his fist slammed down on it, stopping the noise. The time read 2:00 AM. He slowly got out of his bed and got put on his combat uniform. He ate a quick breakfast and gathered all the weapons and gear that he would need in the battle that would be starting in just a few hours. After collecting everything, Mitsuko walked out and locked the door. Then, he walked through the halls of the ship until he came to the command room, where other generals were. “Is everything ready?” Mitsuko asked the head general.
“In the next hour the whole fleet will be ready to go. The ground troops are getting into position as I speak. They will be ready in the next hour too.” The general informed Mitsuko.
“Good.” Mitsuko replied. “Last night, Rayan’s clan agreed to fight with us. Hopefully they can deal with the more powerful enemies. I will also be fighting in the battle. While I am, you are in command. I’ll have my com with me, so if there’s anything important, I’ll call you. Do you understand everything?”
“Yes.” Replied the general.
After that, Mitsuko sat down in a seat and waited.
Two hours later.
“The enemy ships are now coming over the beach! They just started dropping troops!” Shouted one of the generals, who was watching a scanner screen.
“All ships, get out of the hangers now, but remember to stay low, within the mountains until General Mitsuko orders the counter attack.” Commanded the admiral. As soon as he said that command, all the ships began leaving the hangers, to hide in the mountains.
As he sat in the huge airship, Mitsuko watched the unfolding ground battle on a screen. The Shurnon troops were rushing into the wooded area quite quickly, but once they were in there, they weren’t gaining too much ground. The battle in there was growing more hectic and chaotic. Lasers and bullets were flying everywhere. There was also the occasional explosions from rockets and grenades. The Corvinan troops were hidden behind camouflaged sand bag walls, and in fox holes, while all the Shurnon troops had for cover were trees and large rocks. Because they were well prepared, the Corvinan troops were easily holding back the Shurnon onslaught. It seemed easy then, but the menacing Shurnon fleet, which was quickly approaching, could decimate them without much trouble if they didn’t receive any air cover.

The deafening roar of a massive explosion rocked the foundation of the Corvina military base, shaking Rayan out of his bed and onto the floor. He quickly got to his feet, and immediately grabbed his gear: his sword in its sheath was at his side, his MEG plasma autorifles in his hands, a portable energy shield attached to his belt, as well as his newest device, a pocket laser grappling hook. He headed for the door, knowing that this would likely be his greatest challenge yet.
Soldiers poured down the hall towards the front of the base. Rayan did not see any of his clan members, and so assumed that they were still in their rooms. Suddenly, Rayan remembered Karunii. He stopped two of the soldiers running past him and asked them to guard Karunii’s room. They complied, and placed themselves in front of the door. Rayan thanked them, saying that he would put in a good word for them to General Mitsuko.
He turned and ran down the hall, banging loudly on the doors of his clan members’ rooms, shouting, “Wake it and shake it! It’s four in the morning and the Shurnon soldiers are gonna serve us coffee! Meet me at the front of the base, ASAP!” After Rayan was certain that everyone was awake, he promptly headed towards the base entrance, expecting the others to follow him.

James heard a slam on his door and tumbled off the couch, onto the floor. "...ke it! It’s four in the morning and the Shurnon soldie..." Rayan had just ran past, waking up the entire clan for action. James stood up, shaking his head to clear up. The building shook as explosions were set off from the battle below. He ran to his bags and began to gear up. James clipped on his belt and filled each slot with a magazine, checked his knife, squared away his sidearm, and slid a clip into his gun. "It's been too long Amy..." James looked at his FAMAS and pulled the bolt back. "Time to go." James opened the door and proceeded to the stairs, running down several flights to the main foyer. He burst through the front doors and saluted Rayan. "Good morning sir, I trust all's well in your department?" ~~~~~~Meanwhile...~~~~~~ Ziedrich stood tall on the bow of Shurnon's flagship, eyeing the battle below. Not much could be seen save for the troops moving into the forest and off of the beach. Poor defenses...Ziedrich turned on his heel and walked briskly towards the superstructure and back up to the bridge... ((I'm glad we're finally getting started! ))

Boku couldn't sleep. All this talk about the war had him excited, he felt like a little kid on cristmas eve waiting to get his presents. He sharpened a kinfe that he always kept with him in case of extreme close combat battles that his guns or swords were to big or powerfull for, or just plain stealthy kills. Boku stopped for a moment and set the knife on the bed and his sharpining stone on the ground under the bed. He hunched over and thought once again about Tenshi. He was worried that something would happen to him and he would leave Tenshi alone, with no one to take care of her or protect her. Boku hadn't even told her he was going to war, he didn't want her to worry and he just never got around to it. He never even got a chance to say goodbye.
[glow=White,2,300]I hope i come back to her. I don't want to leave her alone. I want to be there with her, I wana grow old with her. I want to be with her forever. Whenever i look into her eyes, i feel so much better, all my fears, troubles, and worries dissapear.[/glow]
Boku picked up the knife and tossed it around in his hands spining it around a couple times with each hand trying to get used to the smaller blade agian.
Suddenly, Boku was thrown out of his bed by a massive explosion. Boku smashed up against the wall face first and turned around on his back, just in time to see his knife flying at his face, it smashed into the wall all the way to the hilt about and inch away from his head. He stared at it for a monent then snapped back he jumped up and put his normal cloths on fighting in oly his boxers would be a little hard. He ran to the door flipping his sword up off the ground with his foot and caught it in the air on its way down, he spun it around once and slid it into it sheath resting at his side. He was just about to run out when Rayan darted by yelling for everyone to get up. Boku ran after him but then remembered he had forgotten something. He darted back to his room and lefted up his matress and grabbed a picture that rested under it, it was a small picture of Tenshi he had taken a while back. He looked at the picture for a second and tucked it into a pocket inside his trench coat, then darted out after Rayan.
[glow=red,2,300]"Hey Rayan I don't see no Coffee!"[/glow]
Boku joked as he ran to meet his fait at the front of the base. Boku ran as fast has he could shoving slower, stalkier soldiers out of his way. Boku could hear people yelling comands and the footsteps of soldiers everywere. Boku senced fear all around him and smiled, this was going to be a great battle.
((sorry i couldn't finish it before so i had to put in A shorter version...ill finnish my longer one now though...sorry.))

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
The explosion in the side of the mountain roared with a thunderous blast! Takeshi's body followed this new trend and was thrown out of bed into a wall, which seemed to pop out of nowhere.
[glow=green,2,300]Ow! What in the mighty fairy godmother of Cinderella is going on here. Blasted battle.... ACK, the battle![/glow]
Takeshi pushed the small button that would open the high-tech door with a calming swoosh, and it opened, only for Takeshi to see Rayan coming down the hallway shouting something about shakin’ your booty and coffee or something. Takeshi was a bit discombobulated, having just woken up, and didn’t really understand what Rayan was saying. Takeshi furiously broke out in dance, pulling the wackiest disco moves ever. He than realized that Rayan was prepared for battle. Takeshi burst back into the room and grabbed his weapon. Then he ran down the hallway with supersonic speed. He caught up to Rayan and was ready to do anything his commander wished.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
D was awake for some time before the explosion had occurred waiting for this war to get underway. He stood outside, atop the mountain, watching the battle start. D felt calm and excited at the same time; calm because he knew no ordinary soldier could take him, and excited because he knew that there was one whose defenses he could not breach.
The explosion that rattled Takeshi, as well as the rest of the base, seemed to cause tremendous damage and when the dust settled: it revealed a huge hole in the side of the mountain, a little more than halfway up and closer to the top.
[glow=silver,2,300]This can’t be good. They must be planning to attack the inside of the base, taking control or it, of something of that nature. Well, I guess that might be my calling. Hup![/glow]
D plunged down off the side of the mountain towards the direction of the blast. He fell rather rapidly down and seeing as he needed a thrust to get into the hole, he decided to help the soldiers while doing so. He cast a spell shooting a beam from his hand towards an area where the enemy seemed to be. As the beam shot down from the heavens it pushed D into his destination.
