Following the whole fleet of Shurnon airships, was Sulvrin and his fighter. “Dang it! Why can’t those stupid ships go any faster!” He said to himself, as he impatiently flew toward the anticipated battle. “This is so boring flying behind a bunch of smelly, slow airships. I want to battle now!” Finally, he thought up some ingenious thing that he could do! He flew his fighter up to one of the larger airships and landed on top of it. Now he could just sit there while the ship brought him to the battle. In the free time, Sulvrin popped out a few beers and started chugging them. When He finished the first bottle, he chucked it out the cockpit, not caring what it could hit below. After about thirty minutes of just chillin’ in his fighter, the fleet finally arrived to the landing point.
As the Shurnon troops were all leaving the airships, Sulvrin pulled his fighter off and brought it high up into the air. Up there, he stopped it completely and opened the cockpit. Then, after grabbing his sniper disrupter rifle, Sulvrin climbed up on the top of the fighter. He lay down in a prone position, with his gun over the ship, pointed at the battle below, with a perfect view of everyone for miles. He then pulled out his counter and set it beside him, on the fighter.
The first enemy he took aim at was clearly an officer who was commanding some Corvinan troops around. Sulvrin aimed at him and slowly pulled the trigger. Suddenly, an instant red flash, so fast that it was hardly visible, traveled from the barrel of his gun to the officer. All the troops below took cover right away as the officer dissipated immediately. Besides the high altitude wind, all Sulvrin could hear was the cha ching sound made as his counter added the first hit of the day.

Matt had been in his room the entire rest period in an indian position with his gunblade cast across his shoulder. He had his eyes closed and he was focusing all of his energy on his strength and regenerating it. He found this method of meditation far more effective than sleeping. It was like super-sleep without groginess in the morning! His eyes suddenly snapped open.
"It's...time...."
BOOOOMMM!!! A huge explosion rocked the base as Matt stood up surely. He smirked. Gosh he was so cool.....exactly on time. He looked at his gunblade and frowned. It would not be enough. He reached into his belongings and pulled out two sheathed Kodachi's. (( if you watch Kenshin you know what Kodachi's are. They are a bit smaller and far more versatile than Katanas. They are much easier to block with. )) one of them was weighted. He strapped this one to his right hip and the regular one to his left. He then pulled out a sniper rifle and strapped it to his back. He then opened his door and strolled out of his room cooly with his gunblade in hand. He walked right into the path of a frantically running and screaming Rayan slamming right into him. They both tumbled to the floor. The gunblade flew through the air and clattered to the floor. Matt stood up and brushed himself off angerily.
"You....my friend.....are an idiot...."
He looked down at the gunblade at their feet.
"Find someone who wants that...I am through with it. When times are tough you gotta ante up.........((long pause)).....ok that wasn't funny."
He scratched his head nervously.
"But! I have 2 questions for you. 1! Where is Aran? and 2! Where's the fun at?"

Mitsuko watched the entire battle on the scanner screens. He was surprised when a missile was fired from the lead Shurnon airship and blew a hole in the middle of the mountain, exposing some of the city. Once he saw that, he immediately ordered most of the troops in the sector that the hole was blown to rush out and stop the enemy troops who were now trying to get in there. The combat around the hole was intense; over one thousand troops from each side were battling for control to the entrance for the city. To add to the chaos, the entire Shurnon fleet was fast approaching to ensure success.
The Shurnon fleet was now heavily pounding the Corvinan troops below, who weren’t adequately supplied to take on an entire fleet. Just when the Shurnon fleet thought they would easily win, Mitsuko ordered the Corvinan fleet to counterattack. The first to rise from the mountains was Mitsuko in the capital ship. With powerful laser blasts, it simultaneously destroyed three of the Ships in the front of the Shurnon fleet. The rest of them started backing off right away to fight farther from the mountains as the rest of the Corvinan fleet swarmed out.
The two fleets were soon mixed in with each other as the battle in the air was growing to be even more hectic than the one on the ground. Lasers and missiles filled the air and smoking, burning and exploding airships fell from the sky.

Rayan nodded when James saluted him said, “Yes, I am well. I assume that you are more than ready to play your part in th-“
Rayan was cut off as he stumbled and fell to the ground when Matt tumbled him. He looked at him with a slightly disapproving look. Maybe if YOU hadn’t run into me, neither of us would have fell he thought when Matt spoke to him angrily, and rolled his eyes. But as soon as Matt mentioned his gunblade, Rayan immediately took interest. Giving up the weapon he is so renowned for? …Ah, I can worry about his reason later. This is too good an opportunity to pass up! he thought to himself.
Rayan reached out and picked up the gunblade carefully, gazing at its surface for a few brief moments. Then he looked over to his right; a soldier stood by himself, looking slightly confused. His uniform was blue and white, not blue and black like all the other soldiers. Rayan quickly figured out that he was a cadet, still undergoing training. He smirked slightly. The rookie had probably gotten mixed up about where his group was supposed to be and was idly sitting by himself. Rayan got up, and after brushing himself off, approached the cadet and put Matt’s gunblade in his hands. His attention hastily focused on Rayan, giving him a confused look. “Take this to the room that two men are guarding. Give it to them and tell them that the same one who asked them to stand guard wishes for that to be stored in the same room.” The Corvinan soldier looked inquisitively at Rayan for a moment, and then nodded. As he wandered off, Rayan thought, That should keep him busy for awhile…
He turned his attention back to Matt. “I have no clue where Aran is. Can’t you keep track of your own girlfriend? You’re so irresponsible…” Rayan began to lecture, shaking his head. “Bah, never mind that. I’m sure she’ll show up soon. She’d better, anyway; if she doesn’t then I’ll have to leave her behind. As for your second question, I was just about to address that when you bumped into me. A-hem.” Rayan cleared his voice before addressing all of the clan members that were present, while taking out several portable communicators. “Each of you take one of these. This way we can be effective in combat as a unit by talking over these comm. units. Be ready to follow my orders in battle and you’ll probably come out of this alive. After you’ve taken one, look outside a moment.”
Rayan peered through the glass on the base’s front entrance doors. The dull hues of the dawn sky were visible through the gaping hole that had been made in the side of the mountain. Approaching were several small Shurnon aircraft. “You see those?” Rayan asked. “Those are Shurnon drop ships. They’re going to land and deposit Shurnon soldiers. As they come out of the hatch, we’re going to storm out of the base entrance and mow them all down with our long-ranged weapons. For those of you that have them, you laser guns. Those of you that don’t, either wait for us to blast them or improvise. After we take them down, we’re going to be joining in the fray in a nearby forest down the mountain. From there, I don’t know what’s going to happen. Just look sharp, keep your wits about you, and fight with the will to survive.”
As he spoke, the Shurnon drop ships slowly began to descend into the belly of the mountain. Rayan turned around to look over each of his clan members one last time. Besides Aran, there were several others that were missing. Where are D and Adriel? And Gai, for that matter…? Rayan thought to himself, not knowing that D was near the base of the opening in the mountain’s wall. He decided that they would just have to fend for themselves if they didn’t show up with the rest of the group. Rayan drew his MEG plasma autorifles and readied them for heavy use. The ships continued their sluggish descent.
“Attack on my mark…” Rayan said grimly, holding his weapons up in front of his shoulders.

The sky was painted with golden yellow and grey hues, and the horizon was unblemished for miles. Three trees were the only vegetation more than four inches tall on the entire plain. Bare feet stood delicately on the grass that was covering the land as far as the eye could see, in such a fashion that the individual blades were only ever so slightly bent under their weight. Away from all hints of civilization, a girl no older than nine years old was standing silently, not even blinking as she focused on a strange black glowing around her encircled palms. Fair brown locks were captured in identical braids, one hanging down on each side of her head; blowing ever so softly in the wind. With a slight contortion to her face, the black energy fields were growing steadily stronger in both hue and mass. Light seemed not only to go around the spheres, but to disappear completely into them. The girl took a few careful steps forward until a branch of one of the three trees was encompassed in the collective sphere. Mere seconds after the branch entered the sphere, however, it darkened and turned into ash, falling to the ground.
She took a few steps backwards, a hardly noticeable smile lighting up the soft beauty of her face. Crouching down, she took a deep breath, exhaled and closed her eyes. Her arms encircled one another as she leaned over, almost touching the ground with her nose. The sphere of magic grew even stronger, encompassing her whole body. She began to lift her arms horizontally, as she stood so they could match the line of the horizon. The sphere suddenly began to retreat, concentrating its energy in a very small orb right in the middle of the girl's chest. She took a deep breath, almost as if in pain, before bringing her arms quickly back together. Her eyes shot open at the same time as the globe flew forwards into the trees, decimating them in mere milliseconds.
"Yes," she cried excitedly, throwing one fist into the air. Suddenly, she felt a very sharp bang in the pit of her stomach. Her mind screamed as it raced through a pattern of thought so broad in a very short amount of time, ending with complete darkness. Her body collapsed to the ground, exhausted. A shadow stepped out of her fallen form, and dissipated onto the wind, leaving only a slight whisper. "It's on . . ."
Bright blue eyes jerked open, piercing into the darkness. Such a deep sleep had enabled her to continue practicing her magics, while recovering strength at the same time. She heard Rayan walking around and talking about coffee, and pushed the pillow over her face, groaning. I don't want to get up yet . . . She rolled over and faced the wall, only to be met by a vision more chilling then one she had seen in a long time.
" . . . Eithra?"
Her little sister, one of the only things still precious to her, appeared lying on the ground and covered in blood. Aran screamed and her arm flew out towards the wall. Her inability to facilitate the situation wrenched her insides intolerably. She stood up, walking backwards from the bed and grabbed her clothes, yanking them on. She ran out of her door and into the hallway, brushing right past Matt to go find Rayan. Her eyes were clouded with emotion more powerful than one could possibly comprehend, so she cast them to the ground. She sprinted down the hallway until she was out in the front of the base, holding tightly onto her faerie pendant that she had apparently taken off of her neck. She didn't even notice the dark aura that she was emitting, though it would be hard for the others to miss. She turned back towards Matt, realizing very belatedly that she had already passed him, and blew him a kiss before flashing a short smile. She then turned and focused her energy on Rayan.
"Rayan, where is Mitsuko? I need to talk to him."
Gods, please don't let her be too badly damaged . . . please . . . I’ll find you and get you out of this, Sweetie . . .

Five Shurnon dropships descended upon the plaza, loading bay open before they even touched down. James shattered a glass window and opened fire on the sqauds of one ship...one bullet for each man. Silence drifted in as he fired, a familiar feeling when he was fighting, the adrenaline, the memories. James was fond of all of these...and when he lowered the smoking rifle...he was smiling.
~~~~~~Meanwhile~~~~~~
Ziedrich smiled at the airships coming out to meet them and watched as three of his own were taken down.
"I guess I need to step in..."
Ziedrich stormed out of the bridge and slid down the ladder, lightly droping his feet onto the main deck. A light air-to-air laser weapon was being fired at a small Corvinan airship strafing a Shurnon destroyer by a few crew-members. Several others brushed past him as he walked toward the bow.
Ziedrich peered over the deck and smiled lightly as he found an excellent opportunity. He walked back towards the superstructure, turned around and bolted towards the bow, leaping over the rail at just the right moment. As he soared through the air, several crewmen of the small battleship noticed Ziedrich and took up their arms. Ziedrich slammed onto the deck, cracking the shiny hardwood boards under him, and rose to his feet.
"Who want's to visit hell first?"
A six-foot blade materialized in Ziedrich's hand and he swung it swiftly, blocking the incoming fire from the battleship's crew...
((Ziedrich will eventually touch down upon the battlefield, hopefully to fight one of YOU!))
((bwahahaha, I gots the music for the battle. It's from Tales of Symphonia of course. Copy and paste the URL into your music player: www.angelfire.com/gundam/xxrageofangelsxx/Like_a_glint_of_light.mp3 )) Fay't took the communicator from Rayan. He had spent the entire night scouting the area for possible tactical advantages and had only just returned. Black lines were slightly visible beneath his twin blue eyes, but he quickly shrugged off any weariness he felt. Bah, sleep is for the weak.Listening to Rayan's plan of attack, Fay't could not help but think to himself what a stupid strategy it would be, but before he could say anything, Rayan was already poised to give the command to attack. Looks like I'll have to do this on my own. I can always let him know later over the com if I want to.Fay't slipped away from the otheres, unnoticed by all. His weirding module, though powerful, would be ineffective at such a long range anyways. Like a ghost, the dessert trooper slipped across the rocks, past trees and dying soldiers until he was directly below one of the Shurnon drop ships readying to unload its troops. Fay't took out the communicator and spoke quickly into it. "Stiger, I will sabatoge the northern dropship. Do not shoot me." Not waiting for an answer, Fay't turned off the communicator and tucked it into his robes. Total stealth would be required for what followed. The drop ship descended towards the ground and began extending its landing gears. Waiting until the landing gears were just close enough, Fay't dashed out of the forest. Like a shadow, he climbed smoothly up the leg and disappeared into the drop ship. The room he found himself in was a mess of wires and mechanical tubing. Searching out a ventilation shaft, Fay't kicked it open and disappeared inside. The shaft ended in the main corridor of the ship. There were few men moving about as most were busy preparing to unload. Fay't descended silently from the shaft. A quick intake of breath caught his ears and he quickly spun around and leapt at the guard behind him, severing his wind pipe before the man could release a cry of alarm. The body full with a dull thud to the smooth metal flooring. As he sheethed the knife, Fay't heard the distant echo of footsteps from down the hall. Two men rounded the corner and gasped as they saw the bleeding corpse of their comrade lying on the ground. It was all they saw. Orienting himself in a nearby storage room, Fay't mentally reviewed the information Mitsuko's men had collected about Shurnon drop ships. According to their information, the engine room shouldn't be too far. Footsteps echoed back and forth past the storage room door. Perhaps another would have been tentative and nervous being locked up in a small room with unseen enemies passing back and forth just beyond the walls. But Fay't was a Fremen, trained in stealth. He handled himself with the professionalism with which he had been raised. Boots clanged against the metal floor outside. The sound echoed down the halls. It was impossible to tell just how far away the feet that made the sound were. Were they getting closer? Trusting his instincts, Fay't thrust open the door. A surprised guard standing just outside began turning his head, but Fay't was expecting him to be there and was already behind him. Covering the man's mouth, Fay't twisted his shoulders in a quick movement. A soft sickening crack came from the man's neck and all was silent once again. It was always better to kill the guard on your own terms than leave him to discover you later. Hiding the body in the storage room, Fay't glided down the corridor, turning left, then right, hiding behind doors or in shadowed corridors when necesary. Killing when necesary. At last he came to the engine room. There would be no need for secrecy now. Now, he needed speed. Fay't activated his weirding module and opened the engine room door. Stepping inside, he released two sonic waves, instantly killing the two engineers inside. Enormous machinery pumped and worked tirelessly, their chambers red hot with energy, valves hissing with steam. Finding the central engine, Fay't stepped back and opened the door. The sound of a dozen feet echoed somewhere distantly as Shurnon soldiers came to investigate loud sounds that had eminated from the engine room. One foot in the door way, Fay't aimed his weirding module directly at the central chamber of the main engine. His voice came out softly at first, then grew gradually louder as his voice was stored and amplified inside the module. Finally achieveing maximum capacity, Fay't released the sound wave. It erupted from the weirding module, colorless, but visible by its distortion of images behind it. Almost instantaneously, the wave struck the main engine. Fay't didn't stick around to see what would happend. As the sound resonated the metal components of the engine, tearing them apart from each other and releasing the confined energy within the engine, Fay't was tearing down the hallways, shooting anything that got in his path. It was 100 feet to the exit. The damaged engine was unable to contain the energy any longer. It exploded in a deafening roar, taking the two other engines with it. 50 ft. Fire ripped through the metal scattering it into deadly shards of shapnel. 10 ft. Fay't felt the back of his neck begin to burn. 5 ft. His lungs and heart seemed ready to explode from the exertion. Outside the ship, a small figure could be seen jumping out of the side of the dropship, barely escaping the tongue of flames that plumed out after it. Back on the ground, Fay't stumbled into the forest. He continued to run at a breakneck speed. It would not be long before the fire from teh engine reached the ship's store of explosives and Fay't wanted to be as far away as possible when that happened. A brilliant flash blinded his eyes and Fay't dropped to the ground, flattening himself as best he could. A ground shaking explosion erupted from behind and shrapnel flew everywhere, cutting through branches, and sticking into trunks. A few drew blood from Fay't's legs and shoulders, but the wounds were minor and pain could be overcome. Pushing himself up off the ground, Fay't sat for a minute, gasping for air. After catching his breath, Fay't removed the communicator once more from within his robes and switched it on. "What would you have me do now?" ((I"ll be gone for the next 10 days. Just go on. It's not like I'm a big part of this anyways.))
Tira had sat on her window ledge the entire night, looking out into the darkness. She felt the battle coming...she felt the deaths of many people approaching...and her heart soared. Her blood red eyes were glowing slightly in the dark from her excitement. Yes, she would feed from the pain and suffering that were to come. Her eyes pierced into the night, anticipating when the initiators of the war would arrive. Then she saw it. Battle ships in the distance that no mortal eye could ever spot. Yes she had the choice to tell others...but why should she?
Why should I tell those that are my enemies?
Yes, all were her enemies...meaning that she was currently residing in an enemy base for one reason only: Karunii. Tira decided to go into Karunii's room while the rest were still asleep so she could protect him. She doubted the abilities of mere mortals to protect him. Tira leaped silently out the window letting her body fall into the night. Then her body rose into the air as two large black wings lined with a mystic blood red pattern appeared on her back. She flew silently in the night, careful to stay in the shadows. It was only a matter of seconds before she flew in again through the window of Karunii's room.
Her wings diappeared once again as soon as she flew into the room. Tira landed in a silent crouch and rose to see if Karunii was still asleep. With a quick flick of her wrist, a web of her deadly wire went flying at the window. The edge of her wire was so fine that it even seemed to shred the very air to pieces. The edges of the web of wires buried themselves into the frame of the window so that nobody else could come in through the window.
Tira sat down in a chair, gazing silently at Karunii knowing that this relationship violated her beliefs. Yet she knew she was in too deep to break off this friendship. Hours later, she heard Rayan banging on all the doors...as well as her empty room. She ignored him and hoped that he did not disturb Karunii. She also saw the shadows of two people guarding Karunii's room. Tira had the urge to kill both of them...but she resisted. If it was to be for Karunii's well-being...then she would allow it.
The dark elegant figure of the dunpeal waited patiently on the brim of the hole, about 10 feet from the edge. The halfbreed saw multiple dropships coming down towards him, he presumed that this is what his mission for now would be, a duty that needed his looking after.
D noticed that a few of the crafts involved in this blitz had broken out of formation and burst forth, quicker than all the rest. He knew he had probably already been spotted but, he had just thought of somthing. He quickly sheathed his blade and made his way back into the darker part of the cave and hid himself in his black cape.
The one or two aircrafts that had been seen racing ahead had arrived at the mouth of this new cave and promptly deployed landing gear. The exit ramps had already started to come down and D watched as numerous soldiers started to pour out of this little craft. He had come to the conclusion that these men had come to secure the position to make for a safe landing for their comrads. This could not be alowed.
D started to think what the best way to prevent anymore advancing of the enemy was. He decided upon a sneak attack. Quietly he snuck over towards the entrance to the hole untill he was about 2 feet away from a nervous young man, whom he presumed to be a young, but talented fighter.
Suddenly a dull noise, like the cracking of knuckles where heard in the direction of the young man. A couple of his comrads ran over to see what had happend, but what they found was a boy witha broken neck.
[glow=silver,2,300]You're next.[/glow]
The soldiers heard a dull voice say, but before they could lift their weapons a flash of light from the freshly unsheathed blade blinded their eyes for just a second, but a second was more than enough for D to slash two hearts.
The wails of these two men brought a sudden outburst of nervousness amoung the other soldiers. D decided that it was time for a full blown assult, the other ships drew near the cave and besides, he was bored with only three deaths so far. D dashed towards the soilders with his blade flying, cutting them into ribbons as blood sprayed over the small aircrafts. Once the dunpeal made it to the oppisite end of teh cave he turned around to deal with the ones he missed before.
D amazingly, and yet calmly dodged the lasers. After he landed from a dodge he would quickly slay another foe. Finally he was fed up with all this and concentrated his energy into his blade.
[glow=silver,2,300]Crescent Blade![/glow]
D started swinging his sword, and when he did a blade of energy would be thrust off, destroying all in its path. However, as one of the men fell he was able to shoot an unguided laser, which toar into the ceiling of the cave. The blast caused pieces of rock to fly everywhere, one blew straight into D's side.
[glow=silver,2,300]What in hell? I must be getting sloppy in my old age.[/glow]
D ripped out the rock fragment, and tossing it aside prepared himself for the next wave.
Boku ran to to the front of the base and Looked at all the dropships flying at the base. Boku took off his trench coat and tucked it under his arm, then flying up into the air to get a better look at the attacking forces. He lowered himself to the ground and put his coat back on. Standing in the lines he awaited Rayans comands.
[glow=White,2,300]Why am I doing this standing in the line like a normal soldiers. I feel like a privite, standing here for someone eles army. I should be on one of those ships taking them all on head on. I should be giving comands under Rayan's leadership.[/glow]
(most of the events of my post take place before these past few posts.)
Rayan’s eyes were dead set upon the drop ships as they slowly lumbered downward. His trigger fingers itched with tense anticipation as Rayan waited to give the command to attack. Rayan’s breathing became heavier with each moment. So this is it, he thought, the battle that we’ve all been waiting for. Bring it on.
Suddenly, Rayan heard Aran’s voice from behind him. He turned around, wondering why she should want to talk to Mitsuko at such a time as this. Then he saw her face, and all was made clear- Aran was engulfed in an eerie, dark shroud. She was obviously upset; her eyes were stormed with emotion, and looking downward, tears leaking out slowly. Rayan was drawn back in shock.
“What happened? What’s wrong?” he asked her instinctively. “General Mitsuko? Last I knew, Mitsuko said he was going to be in his super-airship. I’m not sure how to contact him directly…” Rayan paused for a moment. It was all so sudden, so confusing. He didn’t have a clue as to the cause of Aranôlëien’s trouble. Rayan desperately wanted to help her, and yet he was torn between helping her and the battle at hand. His eyes shot over to the drop ships, which had nearly touched down. Then, he spotted something through the window.
That’s D out there… Rayan realized. Suddenly, he got an idea. He waited for the drop ships to land. As the first one touched down and opened its hatch, Rayan shouted, “Fire at will!” The commander of the Corvinan soldiers in the room repeated Rayan’s words, and after a moment, laser fire began to pour from the Corvina base towards the Shurnon soldiers who appeared out of the drop ships. As the Corvinan soldiers continued firing, Rayan turned to Boku, who stood next to him, placed his hand on his shoulder and said to him, “Boku, I need you to take command of our group for a moment. There is something I must attend to.” He pointed him towards D and said, “All I need you to do is to lead our group over to his position, fighting your way over. I won’t be long. I trust you.”
Before Boku could say anything, Rayan turned towards the commanding officer of the Corvinan soldiers, and approached him directly. “Commander, sir, we need to contact General Mitsuko immediately. It’s an emergency of the utmost importance.”
The commander gave him a firm stare, and then nodded his head. He pulled out his communicator. After a few moments, he said, “Central Command? This is Commander Dray. I need to contact General Mitsuko immediately. Channel my message to him.” He then handed his comm. to Rayan, who handed it to Aran.
“Here,” he said, “now you can speak to General Mitsuko directly about whatever it is you need to tell him.” Instead of rushing off back into the heat of battle, Rayan stood where he was in case Aranôlëien still needed him for something. It was at that moment after handing her the comm. that Rayan received a message on his own.
"Stiger, I will sabotage the northern dropship. Do not shoot me."
It was Fay’t. Rayan watched as he sped off towards a drop ship with remarkable speed. He did not reply, having seen Fay’t turn off his comm. When Fay’t infiltrated the drop ship and was out of sight, Rayan’s eyes turned back to Aranôlëien as he waited to learn the reason of her plight.
[Not completely finished, but feel free to reply anyways. I'll finish this tomorrow.]
Onikas could clearly see the battle outside as he strapped on his breastplate and then his helmet and blaster’s, he pressed a button on his gauntlets and two short handles flew into the air… he front-flipped and caught both of them and then he looked down the hall as he saw an object moving well this’ll be the first time it’s for the good side… Mitsuko will be proud of me, now to get to the battle now he thought as he flicked on his jetpack and slowly dropped down the air he usually dropped instead of taking the stairs because I took less time.
Just as he reached the door he heard and saw a person hiding behind the doorway… “bshhewww bshhewww” his laser-swords seemed to say as he flicked them on as if at some moment he might be fighting… never ever let your guard down, isn’t that what I taught Yuri and Athandor at least Onikas thought as he pressed a button on his gauntlets and the door hissed open towards his hangar, but just then three laser bolts came right towards him, “plink plink” they seemed to say as he deflected them with ease and moved toward the cloaked figure towards him and then back-flipped behind the other who was behind him now, as he flipped he caught a glimpse of who his enemies were…
“hmm, good to see you again Yuri and Athandor… I thought we might meet up, but I had hoped it would be under different circumstances, still Bounty Hunters, huh?” he said looking Yuri in the face and deactivating his laser swords, and then three more bolts and a card plinked off his armor.
“I suppose you haven’t heard of my mining corporation, have you, Plexi-steel, very good stuff, you’ll need something other than those, though” he said to Yuri as his Jetpack flew off towards Athandor, but just then Athandor jumped on him and they were on the ground rolling this way and that.
why, why can’t they see things from my perspective, it will be nice if I can get by them without hurting them he said grabbing Athandor by the neck and pointing one of his pistols at him…
“Yuri, you value this man… right, or would you like me to kill him… oh well too late” he said as he threw Athandor towards Yuri and flew off in his Jetpack and moved the lever up from normal to high, as he got closer and closer to his ship where he could take off and join Mitsuko in the battle.
“here we are, good, Yoeekia, Yoiikae, follow right behind… we are to catch up with Lord Mitsuko” he said jumping into his seat and closing the door with his gauntlets as Yuri and Athandor got closer to the door.
“yes, we must go… he said flipping up various switches on his wedge-shaped air-fighter, and then turning on his transmission and set his ID scanner for Mitsuko.
“bogies, 10 of ‘em heading right for you” Yoiikae sent over transmission to Onikas as Onikas barrel-rolled and took out one of them, and then got right behind three others.
“thank you, I saw them” he said returning Yoiikae and Yoeekia the transmission, and then taking out the other three in front of him as Yoiikae and Yoeekia blasted the other six together…
“save your missiles, we’ll need them… ah, there he is” Onikas said to Yoiikae and Yoeekia who were right next to him on either sides of him, as he pointed to Mitsuko on the ground.
“Lord Mitsuko, bad news, two Bounty Hunters are inside the Manse, I refuse to harm them myself, I know them personally, they were my apprentices before I joined you” he said as he landed his air-fighter and jumped out of the cockpit, and then walked toward Mitsuko.
“I noticed the number of our air-fighters being shot down, I can return to the air if you wish it?” he said looking towards Mitsuko and taking off his helmet, as his black hair escaped his helmet and he looked at one fighter in particular, and then back at Mitsuko.
The spent clip clattered to the floor and James slid in a new one then pulled the bolt back, loading a round into the chamber.
"What are your orders sir..."
Just as James finished speaking a huge explosion erupted from the sky and force could be felt all the way inside the building. An airship exploded, sending it's two halves streaking towards the ground, smoke and flames pouring from them. He looked up, out of the window and right towards the airship's front half falling from the sky. A figure dressed in black flew up and away from the airship, followed by a blue streak and an evil laugh...
"EVERYONE OUT!!!"
James grabbed Rayan's arm, urging him to follow out of the door...
~~~~~~Just moments ago~~~~~~
Ziedrich's sword vanished again as the final opposing soldier fell to the ground in two pieces. A small detachment of three men stared at him in horror and ran to the stern rather than face him. He briskly walked back towards the very front of the bow and jumped straight into the air, flying up and towards the sky. He halted and faced the ship, bringing his hands together to gather energy for a spell. He threw his hands forth, producing a huge ball of fire. It slammed into the deck, burning right through the many inner floors and struck the fuel supply. The airship exploded so violently, the shockwaves could even be seen reaching the forest floor. Ziedrich smiled and streamed off towards another target...
((I hope that isn't considered power-playing since only NPCs were onboard.))
