This was the first game I got for Gamecube. It is tight! Although I've been playing it for a few years, I still like it.

Good game. I like Ness and Mewtwo best. It's sad that Mewtwo's a Pokemon, I admit, but hey - you can make fun of me for it when you can beat me when I'm using him.
The variety in levels and modes is very good, plus the game is very effective at letting there be ariel combat - that was one of the things I like about it. I did think Adventure Mode was unnecessary, though . . .

Adventure mode was great! Hey, I use a pokemon too... Pikichu! And I agree with you about the arial combat. I use it alol the time. I've beaten everything in the game! The only thing is, I don't know if I have all the trophies yet.

Same here. I think I only need about nine, though . . .

How can you tell how many more you need?
Everything that I get now, I already have. And the lotery is down to 0% too!

Gack... here's one of the biggest reasons to get a Gamecube... I mean, my parents ARE going to get me a PS2... but only if I get straight A's... Anyway, this WILL be the first GC game I get when I finally get this system... and then I'll specialize with Link, and later Marth and Roy. Swords rule.

You mean you don't have it yet?

Poor, poor, poor, Firehawk. That game owns. Wait. I own it. Never mind.
Anyway. What's your favorite stage? I favor Mute City, Brinstar, and Final Destination - but that's because I practice there. Since no one else does, they have to pay the price with the environmental hazards on the first two - and I'm good enough so they don't survive me without any on the last one.

I like final destination, Hyrule tempel, and the old yoshi level.
I like the old yoshi level because of the puf puf resort! I can't give away the secret because no one can beat me there yet.
Can you beat three level 9s on a team against you?

Haha. No, I don't think so. Though it would depend on who they were.
I'm also good with Roy. It's so much fun when your friends forget about Counter. Heh.

Fweh...ph33r my m4d SSBM sk1llz... I am so powerful at that game...
My two best are Link and Marth. I beat 3 level 9s on a team against me all the time, though I haven't played much recently. I used to have such uber trouble using Marth's B> move though! That's cuz I am so bad at fighting games, but this is a 'single button move' fighter, meaning each attack is only one button. There are practically no 'flowing' combos...you have to chain together single button attacks to slay properly. But now I can finally use that awesome dancing blade attack with Marth. Yay! The colors, dude...the colors...
I have gotten all but 3 of the...er I forget how many trophies there are...but I'm only missing 3. I haven't beaten Cruel Melee with 5 KOs yet, but that's cuz I haven't tried it much. It's so friggin cheap...i mean, the attacks of those stupid polygon dudes goes further than their fist or foot goes on the screen...and they are like twice your size, so their range is doubled. I got up to 3 kos on Cruel Melee, and the other 2 dudes were almost dead. But then, of course, they got in a cheap hit and I died...screw you, polygon men!
This game is so awesome...rookies and masters alike love it. It's a pick up and play game that you will play by yourself or with friends again and again and again...
Oh, btw, once I played SSBM right after getting my finger smashed in a wooden sword fight (with some of my buddies...I was going easy on them, cuz if I didn't, they would have gotten hurt. So I went easy on them, and I got hurt...ah well...) Anyway, I played against JKrew, Jason, and uh Jeremy Hempel (nobody anybody here knows...they are some kids, okay?) with my busted thumb. I slayed them all as Link each time. Although, I stunk as Marth with my wounded thumb [my left thumb...the one that works the all important joystick], because he taked more drastic joystick controlling to do well as, where as Link is more leisurely to control. So after getting beaten as Marth about three times, I realized that I couldn't control Marth without a 100% functional thumb. So I slayed all with Link.
Anyway, I might say even more about this most lovable game later. But for now, remember: Swords spawn death, and Pikachu lives. [hint this is supposed to be random...]

snap...well like I said I haven't tried it much. I got bored of it and I like slaying peoples in multiplayer more anyway. Maybe I'll try it again later... and like I said the other two were about to die...they were like hanging in midair off the side... maybe you just got lucky, Alan. I mean, you and I both know my skills far outdo yours. Or maybe you got a sudden burst of mad azn skillz. Or maybe the difficulty level varies between SSBM disks the way it did with SSB...in the old N64 game, you and your buddy could both own it, but one cartridge would have a higher difficulty setting than the other. I'm pretty sure of that, cuz Zack's game, when he had it, sure seemed different than mine... Bah, w/e...you get the point... Oh yeah, it was uberly fun when Alan, Matt, Rachel and I played together, with Daegon. SUPA ANIME PICHU 4 EVA!!!
