The sleek black fighter of the young mercenary Sivcon Revolnet circled around the Icy Mountains of Corvina. A billowing storm brewed around them; ice formed quickly on the fighter, and hung down the sides of the wings like a draping canopy. Zagur spotted the perfect place to land quite quickly. He motioned for Sulvrin to land the fighter behind a small rock overhang next to the mountain. When the fighter landed, Zagur front flipped out of the cockpit and landed on his feet upon the snowy landscape.
“Let’s go” Zagur said. Zagur wasn’t known for making long speeches. At this moment, he was all business, and what a dark business it was.
His glaring eye pierced through the falling snow to the top of Mt. Corvitan, which was right before them. Zagur began to walk up the mountain, clutching his seven foot long blade and holding it across his shoulder. The bitter cold whipped around his body, but his stature remained firm. It was as if he didn’t even feel the temperature around him.
When Zagur had climbed part way up Mt. Corvitan, he ducked under a small shelter for a moment to wait for Sulvrin. The youth’s lack of experience was keeping him from traveling at the pace of the tall, strong, hardened veteran. Zagur had been to many planets with extreme weather conditions. To him, this was a leisurely walk in a park. Sulvrin, however, did not have that experience, and so he lagged behind, though not by much.
Zagur sensed that they were already near their intended destination, the headquarters base of Corvina inside Mt. Corvitan……

Sulvrin instantly slammewd the ship to a stop and brought it down next to the rock. Zagur got out of the ship first with a spiffy front flip, but then when it was Sulvrin's turn, his book got caught on the seat, making him fall out of the ship, face first into the freezing snow. He slowly sat up, completely covered in snow. "It's camoflage... you should do it too!" He told Zagur as an excuse.
Sulvrin followed Zagur up the mountain. He was carrying about every weapon that he had. His famous double bladed, double sided axe, which actually wasn't so famous, because all of the people who saw it never lived too much longer after that. Also with him was his Cellular Distortion Rifle (CDR or disrupter rifle), his black hole gun, a hidden pistol, and a disposeable machinegun... just in case there would be a bunch of dudes in one place.
Sulvrin slowly trudged up the mountain, a little bit behind Zagur...

Zagur took little notice of Sulvrin’s clumsiness or his lame jokes. He walked out from underneath the rock overhand slowly, and looked up into the falling snow. The snow drifted slowly earthbound, and Zagur’s sharp eyes pierced through the storm as the soft flakes fell. He slowly reached his hand up to the leather strap holding his blade in place on his shoulder. Zagur undid the strap, and lifted his sword into the air. He swung the blade around in a 360 degree motion, fire blazing from its end. Zagur created a ring of fire around him in a six feet radius. The flames shot out from him quickly, and melted the snow around him instantly.
Zagur’s eyes closely watched the flames as they spread… He saw that some of the flame has passed, literally, through a rock wall. Zagur approached the wall without hesitation.
“As I thought” Zagur said to himself, loudly enough so that Sulvrin could hear him. “Holographic scenery.” Zagur walked through the fake rock wall and entered a narrow rock tunnel inside.
This will lead me to the base. They cannot withstand my power. Zagur began to walk down the passage, not caring to wait for his partner Sulvrin.

Just as Sulvrin had caught up with Zagur, he saw Zagur walk straight through the wall. "Snap! That joint's not a wall. It's a hidden entrance!" He said to himself. He followed Zagur down the tunnel, which was pretty short. By now, he was holding his double bladed axe in both hands. After they got through the dark, rock tunnel, they came to some doors. Once they had opened the doors, Sulvrin and Zagur were in the city. Directly in front of them was the headquarters which they were looking for.
"You can go and do what ever you came here to do. I'll get up on top of one of these roofs and have some fun with my CDR! ...I also might rob a store or two. I need money." Sulvrin said to Zagur.
"...Oh, and one more thing...
Please leave some for me."
The people in the city didn't know what to think of the two, One with a giant, 7' long sowrd, and the other with a double bladed, double sided axe... and a bunch of guns. They all stay quite a distance

Zagur looked at the grand military base with a dark gleam in his eye. His face still looked hard as granite, and his powerful form looked even rockier. The look Zagur cast about him was a fearfully frightening one; the hardened warrior had caused the deaths of so many people in the past, and here he was, about to cause more death.
Looking over at Sulvrin, Zagur spoke to him in a deep and dark voice. “I will. I can’t promise you that much will remain, but take what you will.” Having said his short, firm response to his partner, Zagur began to walk towards the front gate of the grand military base. His step was slow and steady; never faltering once. Zagur’s eyes were fixed in one direction; his face seemed frozen, as he did not blink or turn his head; he simply kept walking and glaring with his evil eyes.
When Zagur reached the front gate of the base, he stood still outside, as if waiting for something to happen. Dozens of soldiers poured out of the building and surrounded him. The sound of cocking rifles and the unsheathing of blades rang out together. One of them, a low ranked-officer, walked out to the front of the circle.
“Who are you, and what do you think you’re doing?” the officer demanded. “Leave now, or your life is forfeit!”
Zagur stood his ground, his hand on the grip of his sword; his other hand limp by his side. His head was facing the ground before him, and his eyes were shut for a moment. Then he lifted his head up and gazed at the man with his piercing glare and hardened face.
“You are the one whose life is forfeit” was Zagur’s staunch reply. He began to slowly walk towards the officer in charge of the group of soldiers, his hand still clutching the grip of his blade. The officer held up his hand, signaling to the soldiers to aim at Zagur. Zagur continued his course. The officer, who was in a frantic state as to what he should do, gave the command to fire.
Instantly, Zagur undid the leather strap holding his sword in place and swung it in front of him at an incredible speed. The bullets were deflected right back. One New Wave soldier got it in the eye from one of the bullets Zagur had glanced his way. Zagur thought it ironic that such pitiful weaklings were attempting to take him down. He found it more ironic that he used their own bullets to kill them. A grim but playful smirk grew to Zagur’s lips. He enjoyed his pathetic company very much. Anything that allowed him to demonstrate his power-or increase it- brought him happiness.
The soldiers increased their rounds per second, unloading all their ammo at Zagur. As bullets whizzed over and around him, Zagur outstretched his hand towards the hornet’s nest of gunfire. A small, dark void grew in his hand. The shadow grew and spread across Zagur’s entire form in only a second. The bullets were now firing through Zagur, doing no harm.
[glow=purple,2,300]They have not learned the true meaning of their existence[/glow] Zagur thought as he watched the New Wave soldiers from inside of his shadow barrier. [glow=purple,2,300]I will teach it to them.[/glow]
With a sudden burst of speed, Zagur charged his attackers with his 7’ long blade held at his side. The soldiers were terrified-nothing was working against this powerful warrior, who was not only able to deflect their own shots back at them, but avoid them altogether by enshrouding himself in shadow! The New Wave Academy trained the best soldiers in all of Fyia. Corvina was, quite possibly, the greatest military force on the planet. The soldiers could not understand in the midst of all their great confusion how one man was defeating them. Most held their ground, even though Zagur’s shadowy figure was approaching them fast. New Wave soldiers were to well disciplined to run from the field of battle, at least not run away as cowards.
But their valiance was to be their doom. Zagur was quickly upon them, despite the fact that he was toting a 7’ long weapon. Just before Zagur broke upon the ranks of the soldiers like the waves of the sea upon a beach, he spun himself around several times, extending his blade out to the furthest length of his reach. A great wind blew forth from Zagur’s sword, and swept the soldiers’ feet out from under them. Dazed, Zagur’s hapless foes were left to his mercy, of which he held none.
Zagur cut them down like the grass of Atlum Field, sending their mangled forms flying through the air, both living and dead alike. The ground was soaked with blood, dark and red. The blue and white uniforms of the New Wave soldiers were being hacked to pieces by the fury and might of Zagur Verxia. Disemboweled bodies lay everywhere. Heads lay wallowing in blood, now freed from their bodies. Entire limbs and body sections were torn out of every soldier Zagur had slain.
Zagur stood over one of the wounded soldiers, who was quivering from pain. He was hardly conscious, and was just a moment or two from fainting. Zagur smiled cruelly as he looked into his fearful eyes. Zagur picked the soldier up by the neck and held him up into the air. His grip was slowly crushing the life out of the defenseless soldier, who seemed to be losing his spirit one painful moment at a time. After wringing the man’s neck for several seconds, Zagur threw him flat on the ground.
“Your death has fulfilled your purpose.” With that, Zagur swung his great blade into the air and slammed it through the body of his victim. The three points on the end of Zagur’s sword had rended the soldier’s body to shreds; blood soaked the corpse, and covered two feet of Zagur’s blade. Zagur could hear the crack of the snapping bones as he shattered the dying man’s spine. The man’s face shriveled up in pain, before his head fell down, and all the life ran out of him.
[glow=purple,2,300]The harvest has only begun.[/glow]

As Zagur mercilessly hacked up the troops, Sulvrin took advantage of all the chaos. Because of all of the havoc that Zagur was causing, Sulvrin was able to sneak into the headquarters through the open doors, completely unnoticed. Inside, he went to the R&D section. After that he immediately left the building with a CD that on it read… Now all I need is the resources! He thought hiding the unknown CD in his pilot’s jacket. “Now to get some money.” He said quietly to himself.
The first shop that he came to was a restaurant. He kicked the wooden door down and charged in. He swung his axe around, violently, in all directions, leaving behind him a path of total destruction. When he got to the counter, he drove his axe through the cash register and pulled all of the cash out, which all totaled to be around 1,000 zethra. Just as soon as he had done that, he noticed some people on the other side of the room trying to escape. Instantly, he flipped his black hole gun out of its holster and fired a blast, which suck everyone trying to escape into a little dot in the air. He then twirled the gun around his finger once and replaced. As he left, he gave the few survivors the two finger violence symbol (V).
Now It’s time to beat my old score! He thought as he climbed up one of the buildings. On top of the roof, he sat down and pulled out his CDR. As he looked down at the crowds below, he also pulled out his counter machine and placed it next to him. He then started to fire away. After each hit (which was every shot), the counter added one to his record. It also made a “CHA CHING! Sound with every count. More quickly than slowly, people below started to disappear.

As Zagur looked up at the NW soldiers, he saw them fall in a steady pattern by Sulvrin’s sniper bullets. He walked away from the bloody pile he had made of his last victim and steadily walked towards the leader of the group. He was contacting the base’s HQ to tell them to send support.
“He’s inhuman! Everyone out here is getting slaughtered! We need reinforcements immediately! Tell General M-“
Zagur held out his hand towards the officer with a demonic, emotionless gleam in his eye. Dark fumes began to generate around his victim, and burst in small, black explosions that tore the man’s flesh.
“AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!” he cried, watching helplessly as Zagur slowly approached him, so coolly and calmly…
“C…Curse you……you wicked fiend…” he choked out, collapsing on the ground in a heap. Blood flowed from his lip and his eyes, and his tongue was black from smoke. Zagur hefted his sword onto his shoulder and taunted his victim.
“I shall enjoy seeing you suffer.”
Zagur jumped back and held his blade in front of him. A bright, orange energy began to swirl around Zagur’s blade. A sharp end began to form from the energy, and shaped into a devastating spear head. With a small and twisted smile, Zagur thrust his blade through the officer. The energy broke open his flesh; blood poured forth like a fountain from his arteries. The energy beam passed through him and out the other side, while Zagur’s blade sunk in and pushed through the flesh.
Zagur’s foe gasped his last, and Zagur slowly drew out his blade from the bleeding corpse, enjoying every cracking and spraying sound. Zagur walked over to the body of one of the soldiers he had slain earlier that somehow had remained mostly intact and bloodless. Zagur tore off the shirt of the body and used it to clean his blade. He put it back on his shoulder again, and hooked the strap over it to hold it in place.
All of the soldiers on the field fled posthaste to the base. They weren’t sure which was more terrifying; Death by Zagur’s gruesome and cruel sword tactics, or Sulvrin’s crafty and swift sniper bullets. “RETREAT!!!” one of them yelled, as his comrades struggled to swarm past him.
[glow=purple,2,300]Amusing. They must fear my power. If they had any, they might not be so cowardly…though they would still fall to my blade.[/glow]

(((By the way, Sulvrin is using his CDR for the sniping.)))
"71." Cha ching. "72." Cha ching. "73." Cha ching... Sulvrin counted aloud with the counter machine to keep from getting bored. With the numbers rising this fast, soon I'll break my record of 100! Sulvrin thought as he kept pressing the trigger.
Since everyone was so scared of Zagur, they decided to try to deal with Sulvrin first. If he was down, then they wouldn't have to be losing so many dudes before they even got to Zagur. To try to solve that problem, they sent some troops to get Sulvrin on the roof.
As Sulvrin was sniping, he noticed that some of the troops were climbing up the ladder that he had climbed. The first on he shot with the CDR. THen, he picked up his axe and walked over to the ladder. The next one, he sliced right down the middle with his axe. He then stbbed the third on with the point of his axe. For the last two who were coming, he spun his axe around and cut the ladder, making them both fall to the ground with a splatting sound.
After the troops were all dealt with, Sulvrin resumed his sniping...
"93." Cha ching. "94." Cha ching. "95." Cha ching... And so on...

Zagur was enjoying this opportunity to demonstrate his power. The terrified expressions on the soldiers’ faces…the constant ‘cha ching’ of his partner’s kill counter…the blood and carnage that covered the ground…Everything was as he liked it.
Deciding that he had dealt enough death for now, Zagur began to walk back to where Sulvrin was sniping from. He slayed any soldiers that crossed his path by turning and cleaving them apart with Medraeigus strapped to his shoulder. Deep, long gashes marked his every victim. The soldiers that were attempting to fight Sulvrin decided that they should high-tail it out of there, since Zagur would slaughter them all if they did not. This put them in excellent position to become sniper bait.
[glow=purple,2,300]Charming. All this is missing is someone who might actually take more than two seconds to kill. I need a challenge…but no one can compare to my power Zagur thought.[/glow]

Before the leader of the was slaughtered by Zagurs vicious blow he was able to get out “He’s inhuman! Everyone out here is getting slaughtered! We need reinforcements immediately! Tell General M-" to the HQ. The whole base was stunned, TWO men taking out that tremendous amount of troops. As distrout as he was the commander knew he needed someone who could defeat these two murderers, not someone who just shot a round at someone, or simply sliced them in two with a sword, he needed a magic user. And he knew where he could find one.
" D , D! where the heck are you, we have a job for you." Two messangers ran into the olmen city bar that D was usually ocupying when he had no work. "I'm right here."
" D we will pay you a extremely large amount of money to do this job, there is an attack goin on over at the Millitary Acadamy, two men are single or i guess you could say doublehandedly taking out numerous amounts of troops, and we need you to go stop them.
"As you wish."
With that D walked out to his horse, mounted and muttered in an eary tone what sounded like a spell, the deamon he rode ripped off its horsely form and flew up into the sky as a monster shrouded in a dark cloud.
Many thoughts ran through D's mind, itd been countless ages since he had fought someone with such amazng strength as he heard described in the messengers report.
I wonder, will my strength be enough. Why do i doubt myself, that isnt like me, but these men, destroying the top millitary acadamy, this ruthlessness is legendary, its such a shame that they are about to meet their doom.
D arrived to on the sight in quite a short amount of time, his beast turned back into a horse and he approched a man with a sword bigger than his own who he guessed was the one responsible for this carnage.

Zagur looked up and saw a lone figure approach him. Zagur knew that he hadn’t been here previous, or else he would already be dead. Zagur slowly approached the stranger until he stood about thirty feet away.
“What do you want?” Zagur said, not known for making lengthy speeches, especially not to people he didn’t know. Looking over the man’s clothing, Zagur decided that he was a magic user.
[glow=purple,2,300]So, they think that they can defeat me by magic, do they? I shall show them their error…[/glow]
Zagur glared at Dunpeal with narrow eyes, the same hatred in his eyes that he always held for living beings. With his deep and dark voice, Zagur addressed his challenger.
“Do you seek to battle me?” Zagur asked him. “If so…then prepare to meet your doom.”
At that moment Zagur flew at Dunpeal with incredible speed. Zagur unstrapped his sword and swung Medraeigus with unmatched power at his new opponent.

"It is as you say, im here to fight you." Also a quiet one, D didnt want to talk a lot, unless it was with the blade and spells.
But before the Dunpeal could think of anything else, Zagur seemed to dissapear. This attack he was using, it would easily have killed him if D was not so experianced, instead it cut a lock of D's long wavy hair.
That was a little to close to the face, and my hat for that matter, if he'd cut either of those he'd be a dead man for sure. I see I have underestimated him, this is a man of legands indeed. However, i will not make the same mistake twice.
D lunged backwards, his black cape flowing around his figure with hair mimiking his cloke and looked for a place to strike from, he unsheathed his sword. While it might have been 5' long he noticed the considerable difference in size compared to his opponents, he grinned.
While his may be longer mine is lighter and quicker, I should be able to have a considerable advantage in defence. However, I must not forget he can use magic, I'll have to remember that
D started his feet as fast as he could, he lunged into the air, ready to strike with his sword in his right hand, while he beckoned his left to cast a spell so that if he missed and was struck by the enemy in a magic attack the damage would be reduced considerably.

Zagur smirked as he saw Dunpeal’s 5’ long blade. He had been hoping that his opponent was more than a normal magic user, and it pleased Zagur that Dunpeal could also fight with a blade.
Though Zagur wielded a 7’ long blade, weight could not slow him down. He strafed left and held his sword vertically with his left hand. D’s attack glanced off Medraeigus, and the spell he cast missed Zagur by only a margin. Zagur spun around 360 degrees and swung his blade at Dunpeal horizontally in an attempt to cut him in two.

My fire attack missed.
Zagur swung down at D with the might of a hurricane, and this time D couldnt completely avoid it, his momentum was headed towards the ground so he couldnt escape using that. Another problem was that D had used a burst of energy when he cast his spell, and with it being some time since he had fought such a formatable opponent he could fully escape such a long weapon. D was able to roll a little out of the way, but the blade still peirced the left side of his stomach.
My endurance is lacking. But i will still have enough energy to beat him.
"I think its time we ended this."
D muttered somthign, again, a black arua surrounded his sword and he lunged at his opponent, but this time he prepared his left hand to cast a defensive spell this time instead of offensive.
I cant lose to bad on this one. not witha defensive and offensive attack, besides he doesnt know what is instore for him in this one
when Ds blade was aproximately 3 feet from Zagur the dark arua came out of the blade and shot at Zagur in all different directions.
He cant escape this.

Zagur faced Dunpeal fearlessly, unshaken that his opponent was attacking him not only in front, but also with many dark beams that shot out from his dark aura. Zagur stepped back with his right foot and held his blade in front of him. Zagur locked his blade with Dunpeal’s, preventing it from piercing his guard. Immediately after he had blocked Dunpeal’s blade, Zagur leapt back and spun his blade over his head. Zagur spun his blade and blocked every beam that came near him with it. Instead of damaging him, the beams were absorbed into Zagur’s sword.
“Surprised?” Zagur said in an indifferent tone, mocking Dunpeal for not predicting that he could absorb his magic aura beams. “Forgive me for taking energy belonging to you. Accept my apology. I shall return it to you.” Zagur smiled slightly at his own lies, and held his blade in front of him. A dark aura formed around Medraeigus exactly as Dunpeal had to his sword. When the aura was complete, Zagur rushed in at Dunpeal and thrust his blade at him with great ferocity.
