Oh you stupid bi...
Tari's thought was cut short, and soon she manuevered to the side of the fight. She knew they were serious, but all she saw was a pathetic excuse for somebody to die. She shook her head in sympathy for the souls that were so carelessly fighting the other. In a moment of breif "peace", Tari reached out and grabbed Gai, hauling him backwards. She was frustrated and fed up at this point, "Do you know what you're doing!? You have to be the biggest moron to go through with this!" Tari yelled, obviously straining to get her point across
She took a step back from him and looked him up and down. Her eyes erupted with disappointment and shame. Her green eyes looked deeply into him, and for a moment she thought everything would be okay. Then in a flash she attention was concentrated on the woman. She gave her a disgraceful look, but it was not intended to anger her, only to show her that Tari wasn't going to "mess" with her, she wasn't worth it right now. "You've changed into a monster I never knew." the words dropped from Tari's mouth like five pound weights. She gave Gai a good shove in the shoulder before turning her back to him. She looked to the women and bowed her head in respect, she honestly meant no harm.
The wind guided her on to the right path towards Jazz. The grass fell crippled underneath her weight and smells of the shrubbery collapsed at her feet. As she began mounting the majestic beast, she gave them one more glance before picking up a trot and disappearing up over the hill once more. They jogged into the next field before Tari called on Jazz to come to a stop. She rolled off of his back and adjusted his mane to sit on his withers. She lay her forehead on Jazz's and let her thoughts consume her.
(icky-ness...I know, sorry.)

As Gai felt himself pulled away from the fight, he slowly regained his control over his actions. And as Tari's green eyes searched his, he changed back into the Gai that sought only peace. His body returned to normal and his desire to kill was no longer.
But every word that slipped from Tari's mouth were like knives. He knew that what she said was true. And his eyes darted from her to the woman across from him. He knew that he had to stop the fighting. For her sake. But before he could say anything, Tari pushed him away and ran to Jazz's side and rode off.
He couldn't believe what he had just done. He looked at the woman that he had just been fighting and shook his head. He knew that what he had done was wrong and bowed in respect to her. "My lady....as much as it pains my pride to say this...you have won this battle. I have no reason to fight you any longer. Please excuse my previous actions." he said as he turned toward the direction that Tari had go off in. "But I must go after her. She is one of the few people that I trust and care about." he said as he raced off after her with amazing speed. He could see Tari ahead of him and he continued to run toward her.
"TARI!!!!!!!! TARI!!!! Forgive me!!!"He shouted as he got closer to her so she could hear him.

What?!...
She had been able to ignore Tari's words and the disgraceful glance that she had given her, but Gai's sudden desire for withdrawal had caught her by surprise. Her blade paused, as her arms seemed to tremble erratically. Her eyes still appeared torn within a mix of crimson and darkness, her blood lust had not been vanquished as of yet.
You... you can't just leave! There was no official win...
"Come back here and fight me!" Though there wasn't a true reason for them to continue, let alone finish their battle, she desired a bloody end. Her blood lust had not been fulfilled, and her own thick scent still hung strongly within the air. As her remaining wounds healed with ease, she could only quiver as she stood. She simply staged herself, as though she were a porcelain doll hosted during a nightly display. By now, night fall was past being imminent; it was present.
A growl purred underneath her breath as she watched the last of their retreating forms, before they soon disappeared over the benighted horizon.
I really had wanted his blood, but I'm not one for chasing prey... especially at that speed.
An almost feigned sigh rolled from her voilet lips as her gaze seemed to refocus elsewhere.
I really need to bite something... just to calm this urge for now...
There seemed not a soul left within the benighted field, other than herself and the battle-torn vegetation. She continued about her erratic tremoring, while her rose was perpetually aflame, and her shadow, ever protective over its chick. Her gaze maintained its angering intensity as she forcefully planted her blade into the ground once more. Her hand stood pale within the moonlight, and rather tempting under her dark gaze. Her palm soon fell away from her weapon as she rested the back of her right hand before her slightly fanged mouth. The lengthened canines had not regressed in their change, her entire body remained affected by her inveterate fluctuation.
This will have to do...
Without a second thought, her lips parted, and she harshly impaled her hand with one of her canines. Another frigid burn swept through her body, but she ignored the pain as she began to lick the sharp wound. The action did not leave her the victor of her dark pleasure in any way, but only translocated the flowing and gory liquid. But as most flowed into her mouth, some was lost to the dry ground below, burning the soil as it became earthbound. As she steadily gained a good fill, she became somewhat quelled as her gaze lost a bit of its intensity.
Hhhmm... I never did catch his name. That woman had never called out his name once, but I do know hers...
((Hhmm... other than my continuing actions here, I wonder if much more will occur. ))

Silent and neutral reason flowed once more through her mind. But even with its burdensome mass weighed against her conscious (or lack thereof), she would not feel regretful in the least, only disappointed. Disappointed that the deed could not have been completed, and also disappointed that she had lost herself within the commonplace and lustful fit of rage. Accidentally, another aperture was made into her hand, sending yet another dry ice effect rippling under her skin. A stunted growl made itself known, but was soon forgotten as she continued her blood therapy.
Why... why should it matter if someone can read my thoughts? It's not my fault that they're so infuriatingly nosey...
Her mind wouldn't rest over the matter of the elvish samurai, his scent still lingered within the area. His and that of his female companion. But Tari had not been present for long, and so, she was delible and not ruminated over as greatly. She did not puzzle Harle as much as the samurai did, and yet, such quandary was not a good thing to reflect upon.
Hhmm... I should just focus on returning to my natural form, so that I can move on...
And so, she remained in her familiar and comfortable solitude as her body began responding to the alleviating effects of her demon blood. Soon, her ears were the first to return to the standard norm, as they lost their sharp ends and blackened tips. The last of the skin serpents had by now already leapt into the brooding shadow as her eyes soon began to flood with a distant shade of blue. Her wounds were left sealed, either into visible or less noticeable scabs as her fang-like canines lost their blackened tips. Gradually, they began to recoil, causing her upper jaw a bit of pain, but only such an affliction that was comparable to a simple pinch. As whatever and all change that had ruptured throughout her waned, her tongue lapped up the remnants of her decanted blood.
Then again... this always has a depressing or euphoric effect upon me. Heh, and that isn't all too bad.
A look of nonchalance was soon inundating her guise as she lowered her once impaled hand. Her shadow continued to flare about her frame, but much more placidly as it began to seep into her wound, forming new layers of her dermis and epidermis. The shadow only remained until it had completely invaded her physical structure, while moderately healing her final (but self-inflicted) wound. Though she had only cut her finger just a moment ago, this injury had served as a pacifier for her body.
Kmph... now what? This region is certainly new to me, so exploring it seems a bit tempting. Heh, but that only means more solitary travel for this little demon.
A lifeless chuckle resounded vociferously from her lips, as though it threatened to shake the earth, as her blade had not. But it only remained as a chilling reminder of the queer person that Harle actually was. Her head soon shot upward on a sharp inclination, shifting the position of her veil and lavender locks. Her crystal blue eyes found themselves drowning within the flawless beauty of the full moon, which showered a Cheshire cat grin upon her.
"Now... where to go next..."
((A bit longer, but I like it. ^_^ ))

((Oh. Hhmm... I guess after I make my exit... I'll be idle for a while. Or, I may just hang around my first topic, though it is apparently being ignored. -_- Well, then again, some are being hosted within two to three topics, so that's also understandable. Gah... I must find some topic that is akin to Harle... or I can try making another one. But this time in Fyia.))

The beautiful and obsidian flame that now engulfed the rose remained persistent and alive. Harle only took further notice of this as she threw her gaze away from the deathly pale moon. Her crystal blue eyes rested upon her perennial flower, that would not die as she continued to live. Those who had met her never knew of the rose's youthful secret, and she planned to never tell a soul. Her gloved left hand rose towards her pale face, as it remained dominant over the rose. Her violet lips parted as a warm breath poured out, encompassing the rose in a small and impenetrable mist. The mist instantly doused the flame and left the rose untouched by fire or aging. It appeared as flawless as the moon with its deadly and dark beauty.
I wonder... why I ever kept you...
The gentle petals of the crimson rose ran gently across her benighted lips as her right hand found its way to her blade once more. Her naked hand wrapped itself about the centerpiece of her double edged blade, as she lifted it effortlessly from the slightly arable ground. The land now appeared almost as desolate as a graveyard, as many trees had been uprooted, and were left to die in such a condition. She would take her leave, as there were many other lands to traverse across.
Still... it was nice to have a bit of a tussle once more. Heh, it shows how I am lacking a bit.
She bent her neck forward once more as she maneuvered her blade along her shoulders. It pressed heavily against her veil, but she didn't seem to mind or care for that matter. Her neck would straighten as she stared off into the darkened horizon, planning a short-term itinerary in her mind.
East.... I shall go east.
And so, her black books treaded onward, carrying her darkly clad body as the playful breezes returned for yet another game. Her lavender locks were pushed against her stolid face as her eyes began to scowl towards the side once more. It was as though, the only emotions she could produce were anger and annoyance. But it did not mean that she could never love, for, there had been a time in which she did. A time before she had ever fallen to the pains of war and loss, a time in which she would have been glad to serve Lucifer.
But that time is gone... and I can only exist now in the present. My past... could never determine my future, it's too ancient.
Her boots crushed the dried grasses that lay at her feet, and her eyes remained perched and watchful of the horizon. Stars littered the sky as they twinkled and mocked the moon's beautiful light. But the moon seemed to pay no mind, as it was just there to inspire or mock people. It cast a wan light onto her, making her almost a bit surreal as her usually fair skin appeared blanched. Though her skin mirrored the moon in a careless, she was nothing like it, for she had abandoned it so long ago.
Yet... why can my eyes never look away?...
