A slight gasp escaped her lips as she fell to the ground, but her smile remained strong and ever present. She fell gently upon the ground, on top of Matt, and continued her laughter. After a few moments, she regained control over her emotions and lay down at Matt's side, taking his hand in her own and smiling softly.
“I'm still wearing this horrid yellow . . . bag,” she verbally realized, with an air of disgust. “I'm thinking that I'll need to call Chii. We can have a shopping spree!! Haha. But don't worry,” she quickly added, “I won't force you along if you don't want to come.”
She felt a slight vibration coming from his belt, but didn't worry about it. If it was something that she should have been freaking out over, then he would be freaking out over it as well.
I really could have used that bath . . . ewww . . .

Matt smiled at Aran and laughed a bit. His eyes narrowed though when she wasn't looking his way. He had to find some way to destroy that sword. He then stood up and looked around.
"Uh...we are still right in front of the hospital...the guards can still get us."
He pointed over to where a few guards were pursuing from the hospital which was now off lockdown mode.
"Why do they care!! It's just a window...."
He saw some people watching near by. They were talking amongst themselves. "You know I heard that they were housing a new kind of very expensive machine in there. Those two must have stolen it."
Matt sighed. People were so stupid.

"Yeah, we should probably think about getting out of here," Aranôlëien replied, noticing the men at the door, trying to figure out which key would get it to re-open. She laughed at them inwardly and then turned playfully towards Matt. "Maybe it was, like the super-duper window of destruction that the hospital has been keeping hidden from the public in an attempt to sever all of our ties to evil."
With this observation, she was quiet for another second before bursting ito an all new fit of giggles. She stood up shakily and dusted herself off before turning to Matt and grabbing his hand to help him up.
"We really should be going, though, you're right. These idiots will chase us until they've decided that we've run far enough away that we are no longer worth their time." She shook her head sadly at this statement, because she knew that it was both true and incredibly moronic. A slight sign escapsed her lips and then she turned away from the hospital and began to walk from it towards safety.

((geez u did it in the morning b4 school? u didnt have to do that.....))
Matt smiled and hefted himself up following after Aran. He came up beside her and supported her a bit because she had to be weak from what had happened to her. And even weaker because of all the running she had just done.
The slowly walked to the center of town. Matt pointed over to the left side of the road.
"Look an inn! We can rest there....I think we lost the guards by now anyways..."
He smiled and walked in requesting a room. The woman looked strangely at Aran. She then folded her arms and scowled. "We dont accept those things here." She pointed at Aran and sighed heavily.
Matt put his hand on his gunblade and looked at her angrily. He waited to see if Aran would work it out before he did anything by force.
I am tired of solving problems. Aran should help too!

"For the gods' sakes, I promise that I will not kill you in your sleep if you let me in, okay?!" Aran asked in an exasperated and overly-tired fashion. The tension was mounting between Matt and herself and she knew that tonight, before a shower or a good night's sleep, they were going to have to work everything out. She glared at the woman working behind the counter with vengeance strong enough to melt a demon's heart, and she decided to let the two stay the night.
That's right. You know how much more powerful than you I am.
She rudely grabbed the keys from the woman as they were offered, and turned to the stairs, assuming that Matt was following her. She got about halfway up before her face lost all color and she momentarily blacked-out; leaning onto the handrail for support. As if she hadn't already made Matt do enough for her, now he was going to have to help her walk to their room, too?! She sighed exhaustedly and tried to push herself up again. She really didn’t need his help . . . she was self-sufficient . . .
After another five steps which seemed like an eternity, she had reached the door of the room. "Alright, two -forty-four. Here we are." She turned around and waited for Matt to catch up with her, while feigning a smile.

Matt watched her compassionately. The determination in her face was the only thing holding him back from helping her. He watched her while holding himself back with every ounce of his strength. He then walked up to the door and feigned a smile at her also. He had no room for smiles in him at the moment. He walked in the room first and looked around. It was a cozy room, with a balcony, a chair, a bathroom, a vid phone, and a Sattelite-net-holo-tv. His eyes then narrowed in on the bed....
There is only one!!! Man and I thought I was gonna get a good night sleep...
He looked back at Aran and put his hand to his head.
"Aran? In your fury at the woman to get the room.....I think...that you accidently got one with only one bed!"
He saw that she was barely able to stand. He sighed.
"I'll take the chair.....you take the bed. Wash up and I'll go buy you some new clothes since all you have is that hospital gown."
He walked out into the market. On the way out he glared at he woman at the front desk. He pointed his blade at her as a warning if anything happened while he was gone and then walked out. He arrived at the market and looked around. He spotted a clothes store and walked in. The cashier was a nice young lady who smiled at him and asked, "How can I help you?" Matt smiled at her.
"I need clothes for my friend. She is an elven girl about this tall....and her size is probably...."
He motioned with his hands.
"I am not really good at this...uhh...can you pick something out? Something that would really suprise her...but not like...a dress or anything. We are kinda...uhh..on the move."
The woman motioned or him to wait a moment and came out with a beautiful outfit. He took it and wrapped it up and walked out. Suddenly a rock hit him in the head and he fell over on his face. He turned around to see a very angry woman behind him. "You didn't pay you &%%^$!!!" Matt smiled nervously and laughed a bit.
"Hehehe....I didn't pay did I...I am so sorry! Here you go! Oh and here is a tip."
He handed the woman the money and a lollipop.
"Have a nice day!"
The woman then walked back to her store briskly with her head held high. Matt simply sighed and started to walk back to the inn. He found a food stand and bought some smoked turkey legs. MMMMMMMMmmmmm... He then walked back to the end and nodded to the woman at the front desk. He then walked up the stairs and started to open the door to the room.

Aran breathed a deep sigh of relief as Matt left the room to go get her some new clothes. She had half the mind to just collapse on the floor where she was standing, but decided that it would be a better idea to heed his advice and get cleaned up. She slipped out of the nightgown and threw it into the trashcan, along with a wish for it to rot in the bowels of the landfills forever. She grabbed one of the large, white, fluffy towels from a shelf right outside the bathroom and then took it into the bathroom with her, and then turned around and locked the door. Everything was white. Bright white, off white, sickly, hospital clean and white. But it smelled like roses! She smiled brightly and turned the water on in the tub, making the split decision that she might have enough time to take a bath, and that she needed the comfort of one.
After the tub was full, she poured in a small container of rose-smelling soap bubbles and slipped in. Her aching muscles were almost instantly soothed, and she realized that it had been a long time since she had felt that calm that comes from warm water against the skin. She leaned her head back and fell into a soft dose.
When she awoke, she quickly finished up her bath, using the rose-scented shampoo and soaps, and then hopped out of the tub.
Well, it's . . . uh . . . not so white anymore.
Grabbing the towel, she started drying her hair gently, trying to work out some of the mass amounts of tangles, when she heard the door creaking open outside of her room. After a quick inhalation of air, she wrapped the towel quickly around herself and grabbed some undergarments, quickly trying to put them back on before she would be seen. She heard Matt come into the room and fumbled over her words for a second before mustering up her most calm voice and stating, "I'm in the bathroom still, I'll be out . . . uh . . . just a second . . ."
Okay, just think, Aran, try not to panic. Um . . . let's see . . . boy in the room, half naked, you need to get to him in order to get your clothes . . . maybe . . . ask him to hand them in? Or you could just totally sexy-like go out there in your towel. Oh yes. Hehehe. Do that.
She made sure that the towel was secured and she opened the door and peeked into the main bedroom. "Hey there, how was your trip?"

Matt mumbled a mm-hmm...and started walking towards the balcony. He heard the bathroom door open and he turned around. His heart skipped a beat. That was kinda blatant for Aran...it suprised him. Maybe she had changed. He kept his facial expression cool though.
Ugh...of all the worst times to come in. Wait a minute....did she do that on purpose?
He got a puzzled look on his face and handed her her clothes. He then set the turkey he had bought on a small table out on the balcony.
"I bought some food for us. After you are dressed we will eat it out on the balcony! It's a beautiful night."
He kind of laughed nervously and then turned away from Aran. He walked out to the balcony and put the food on the small table made for simply putting drinks on. But hey you make do with what you got. He sat down in one of hte two lounge chairs. He looked up at the stars and leaned back with his back to the door as he waited for Aran to get changed.
Everything....is coming together. Just how I want it. But, there is still the threat of war.....if only that could end....

Aran graciously accepted the bag of clothes and then disappeared back in to the bathroom. She slipped into the beautiful pants an put on the beautiful shirt and then spent a few moments goggling at herself in the mirror before tossing her hair a bit to make it dry faster and then making sure everything was snapped and buttoned and stepping out back into the main room.
She smiled softly at Matt and took a deep, drowsy breath before she went over and sat next to him again. "Thank you again . . ." she whispered, placing a random napkin on her lap as politely as she could and managing to completely maul the thing in the process (those stupid paper ones are good for nothing). She gently tossed her black hair over her shoulder, trying to keep it from getting into her mouth while she was eating. As gorgeous as the outfit was, there were still visible bruises on her face that the outfit didn't detract from. She smiled gently and looked up at the starry night sky dreamily.
It was everything that she had desired for so very long. She was alone with Matt on a warm starlit night, neither of them was trying to kill the other, and she was actually in clean clothes, feeling . . . wonderful. Her hand brushed over her pendant almost subconsciously as if it held the power that she was drawing strength from, and in many ways that was almost true. She turned towards Matt and tilted her head slightly. Was he going to bless the meal first or should she just help herself or maybe she should serve him, but where were the utensils and what if they were just going to talk first, was that what he had had in mind because she would like to get to be friends with him again but she just didn't know how it would work out and maybe they were already friends but she just wanted more again, then after all that he had done for her shouldn't she just be happy with what she has and where in the world was the silverware?! After confronting this mental bout of disagreement with herself, she closed her eyes briefly and pursed her lips, trying to think of something to say.
"So how are you on this fine evening, Matt?" she asked adoringly, while she gazed almost longingly at his deep blue eyes.

Matt was still looking at the stars as Aran came out. He realized there was no silverware at about the same time she did.
"Uhhh....oops! ....I guess it's finger foods for tonight!"
He smiled happily and winked. He then put his hands behind his head and looked back up at the stars as Aran sat down and got all prepared. As Aran spoke Matt returned her gaze with an expression that was smiling yet looked interested in what she had to say.
"I....I feel great! Geez...I never realized what a burden it was knowing that you were out there possessed and there was nothing I could do about it. I felt so helpless....but now...its all changed"
He then gazed off into the stars off in thought for a second and then turned back to her.
"You must be starved! I know I am!"

She laughed softly and a smile lit up her face. "Yeah," she replied, "I'm famished! Let's eat." With this, she gently tore off a leg of the chicken and handed it to Matt before grabbing herself a piece and digging in with as much dignity as she could muster, which was not nearly enough.
In order to prevent getting chicken juices on her new beautiful shirt, she tucked the napkin into her neckline and then looked over at Matt, smiling almost guiltily. After the first few bites, she looked back over at him. "This is really good," she said, pausing between mouthfuls in order to not look like a complete barbarian as she ate, "I really appreciate you getting this for us. Oh, and the clothes are so pretty . . ."
She flashed him another smile and then took another bite of the chicken. The warm night air swept across the balcony, and a lock of hair fell into her face. She promptly wiped her hand off on her napkin and then pushed the lock back where it belonged.

Matt tore into a peice of turkey in just about the same fashion. Not because he was hungry. Just because he felt so cool to rip into a leg of turkey! It was like....medieval times or something! He smiled at her and then dripped some on his shirt.
"No!!!!! Geez....this always happens to me..."
He looked at her napkin around her neck.
"Hmm...maybe I should have done that....b-b-b-b-b-b-but it would ruin my cool look!...oh well..."
He also attached the napkin to his collar. He finished his turkey leg and threw it off the balcony. From below a voice yelled. "Oww! What the heck was that? .....eeeewww!! An eaten turkey leg all over my newly permed hair! I just got back from the salon too!" Matt looked over the railing and saw a woman looking up angrily at him. He waved and smiled. He helled up a turkey leg.
"Would you like some!?"

Kurai flipped from the roof top hanging upside down grabbing the Turkey leg and munched on it loudly.
"of course i would love some!" He said happily as he munched along the leg. "Hey! whats up you two!? Looks like you two are having greatttttt Fun!" Kurai looked at all the candles around him. he then relized Gen's neatly dressed cloth and mattus-san's romantic mood somewhat he slowly dropped the leg of the turkey and had a wide open mouth.
"ohhhh... uhh... ummm..."
((nahh im just kidding you guys can disregard this post. Go ahead you two ^^))

((Will do. And, besides, this isn't Gen, it's Aran. They're two complelty different characters!! )) The woman shook her head up at the two and yelled something indecipherable. Aran flushed slightly as Matt leaned over the railing and made an apologetic face at the woman and gave a little half-shrug. She almost grabbed Matt’s collar and pulled him back into his seat, but resisted the temptation because she remembered that the reason their relationship began to fall apart in the first place was because she had become a bit . . . overprotective. "This is really good," she mentioned, perhaps a bit louder than she should have, in an attempt to bring his attention back to the table. She took another bite and chewed slowly, enjoying the tenderness and flavour of the morsel for every second that it was in her mouth. ((My poor vegetarian soul . . . turkey sounds so good . . .)) Out there . . . so alone, she had really missed enjoying food. It was always just eat for strength, and then, just eat as fast as possible. A few juices dripped out of her mouth and she hurriedly blotted them away with her napkin. "So . . ." she said cautiously, after her first piece of turkey had been completely devoured. She knew that sooner or later they were going to have to have this discussion, and it may as well be sooner instead of later. "I really like these clothes." Yeah. Good way to start a serious conversation about you two."Where'd you get them?" she asked innocently in a conversation-starting manner.

Matt slowly turned his attention back to Aran. He grinned sheepishly and shrugged again. He tore off a few peices of meat and chewed them a bit before answering her question. He looked both ways suspiciously and put his right hand around the side of his mouth so no one else could see what he was saying. He spoke in a hushed tone.
"Don't tell anyone, but I got them at the clothes merchant."
He then smiled and leaned back into his chair happily.
"Its a secret."
He finished another leg and threw the bone off the balcony again. This time he heard a cat screech. He shrugged again and looked back at her.
"Wow...all this time and nothing to talk about! Hmm....I got a question for you! Were you conscious of what was going on during the....umm...Dark Ages....?"
