(For lack of a better title... >_>)
Kileas looked at the map given to him by Firehawk, from their encounter in Vogran. "Should be right around here... Yes, here. Excellent." He folded the map up and put it away, then sat down. All that's left is to wait for him to arrive. Then the fun really begins...
The area meant nothing to Kileas, but it held a certain value to Firehawk. He had only been here once, but it was an important event of his past, he believed. (Thread "Paradise" for more details.)
And now, he had returned to that very same place. And once again, it was to fight a being of immense power, though this time, it was nowhere near as powerful as the Relic, Mahandronis. Kileas was good, but not nearly that good.
Kileas stood as he heard the sound of movement. Someone was climbing up towards him. "That damn well better be you, Sentarl..."
No response. The sound got closer, and before long, Firehawk stood in front of Kileas, sword drawn and ready to strike. "Look, you've got one chance to stand down, Kileas. I'm not going to be caught off guard by any of your crap this time. I'm not going to be surprised and wasted by a sudden attack. You really can't win. You killed me once, but I'm here before you."
Kileas spat in Firehawk's general direction. "Do you think I don't know that? Sure, you remember your own death. But I was systematically ripped apart by your allies afterwards! Do you know what your little summoned friend did to me?"
"I would assume Catastrophe absolutely crushed you in his hand before blowing you away."
"And even then, I still survived! It took an incredibly powerful being of pure flame to destroy me!"
"Still got burnt to death, eh? Well, too bad. Can't have been any worse than what you made me go through, and not to mention my friends! I can't forgive you for that. It's not about the fact that you killed me, it's the fact that you made the one I love practically depressed for about a WEEK. And I can't forgive that."
"THEN GET ON WITH IT, SENTARL! Stop wasting my valuable time and fight!"
"... Fine. Prepare yourself, Kileas. This isn't going to be very pleasant at all."

Immediately after Firehawk stopped speaking, he rushed forward with his sword in hand. Kileas stomped the ground and caused multiple large rocks to fly up. Kileas leapt from rock to rock, kicking each one at Firehawk as he jumped off. The attacks came very close to decapitating Firehawk on a number of occasions, but he managed to come out of the assault unscathed.
Kileas was not about to quit. Minor setback. Have to keep him moving on the defensive. He was caught off guard, however, when Firehawk actually threw his sword, and sliced into Kileas' right arm. Kileas swore, cursing himself for leaving himself so open. He then stepped back and picked up Firehawk's dropped sword. Sheathing his sword of water, he smirked. "Let's see how you do without a weapon, Sentarl."
Firehawk shook his head. "Fine. I guarantee you aren't going to like this." Firehawk clapped his hands, and then punched the ground, causing it to spike upwards at Kileas. He then leapt into the air, flinging fireballs at Kileas like mad. Each one was deflected by his own sword, dissipating harmlessly against it.
Kileas grinned evilly. "Is that all? I would have thought you'd be better than this. Maybe you need all the help you can get."
Firehawk's expression didn't change in the least. In fact, he merely floated in the air, looking down at Kileas.
Kileas looked around. "You can't catch me with that trick, Sentarl! I'm far more intelligent than that!" Seeing nothing, however, he looked back at Firehawk, who was still floating there, but was now smiling.
"What trick, Kileas? I was merely preparing to see the look on your face when I do this!" With that, he pointed at his sword in Kileas' hand. The blade turned red-hot, and Kileas was forced to drop it in pain. Firehawk then dropped to the ground and picked up his sword, still faintly glowing with the heat, but leaving Firehawk unaffected. "If I had wanted to hit you, Kileas, I would have. I was counting on you using my sword for defense."
Kileas began to shake with rage. He had fallen straight into another one of Firehawk's little traps. Silently, he swore to himself again, and drew his other sword again, a look of sheer hatred on his face. "I will make you pay for that, Sentarl..."

Kileas swung both of his swords towards Firehawk, sending both a burst of steam and multiple rocks hurtling at Firehawk. He then leapt up onto the last rock and used it as a stepping stone to reach Firehawk, and kicked him out of the air.
Firehawk fell for a time, before he finally managed to pull out of it and hovered mere inches from the ground. Damn it, that was close. Should've known he'd try something like that. He looked up at Kileas, and found him falling straight down, swords pointed at Firehawk's chest. Firehawk ducked and rolled under Kileas, and shot a burst of fire straight at him. Kileas saw it coming and swung both blades at the fireball, causing it to dissipate instantly.
Kileas narrowed his eyes, and pointed his right sword at Firehawk. "Do you believe you stand a chance now? You've met your match, Firehawk. I proved that last time. And still you fight on, pointlessly! You should know by now that I cannot be stopped. Nobody has ever managed to defeat me. NO ONE has ever stopped me in the least!"
Firehawk glared at Kileas for a time, then started to shake. Finally, he broke out laughing. "Damn, Kileas, you really are crazy! If you haven't been stopped, then what do you call being killed by Catastrophe and a psychotic ally of mine that gets incredibly pissed off at anyone threatening his world? Kileas, just stop deluding yourself, because it's getting really old."
Kileas exploded in rage. "I WILL NOT TOLERATE THIS! I KILLED YOU ONCE BEFORE, AND I WILL DO IT AGAIN, YOU HEAR ME!? I AM THE LEADER OF THE RASHATHIAN ARMY, AND I WILL NOT BE STOPPED!"
"You really do think highly of yourself, don't you? You failed to realize the most important detail of this fight thus far." Firehawk smiled.
Kileas' eyes widened as he remembered what Firehawk was known for. How could he have forgotten? Last time, they had wasted no time in unleashing all the power they had, neither one holding anything back. Kileas realized he had been restraining himself to about half his normal strength, which was all he had without unleashing his own ability...
But the time for thought had ended. Firehawk had sheathed himself in fire, and Kileas cursed himself for his mistake. The time for action had come.
Firehawk emerged from the flames, wings spread, his eyes a deep crimson. "Let's get on with this already. I'm sick of this crap.
Kileas had already entered a sphere of darkness, and the area seemed to enter a sort of twilight. Kileas walked out of the sphere, his eyes becoming pitch black. "I agree, Sentarl. For once. Let this end."
The sounds of battle erupted once again across the Arkane Lands as the 2 rivals renewed their feud...
OOC: I'd give Kileas colored text too, but I can't really use black, so I'll just keep it simple for him...

The spirit of Binak floated up the mountain, following the sound of battle. What kind of fool would go to fight someone like Firehawk Sentarl alone? Kileas is mad... Utterly insane. He has to be. It's sad, really... he was powerful, and a good ally. Binak continued like this for some time before reaching the battlefield, and what he saw was not what he expected.
WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED HERE?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Firehawk and Kileas were nowhere to be seen. The area was decimated, craters scattered across the land haphazardly. Off in the distance, Binak could just make out a dark area with a reddish light shining out of it.
Both men were still going strong, neither showing any sign of tiring. They continued to fly past each other, circled around, occasionally clashing with their swords. But finally, both of them dropped to the ground, staring each other down.
"I told you I wouldn't back down. I'm not going to fall for any tricks, I won't give up, and I sure as hell am not going to lose this fight."
Kileas spat. "You always say that, Sentarl. You're always so confident in yourself. I hate that. You're so overconfident sometimes... especially when you face a real enemy like me."
Firehawk laughed. "Overconfident? I don't think so. Overconfident would be expecting to be able to fight that Relic head on. It would also be stupid, but that's beside the point."
Firehawk looked at Kileas again, and his eyes widened. Damn it, he's doing that attack again.
Kileas was sheathed in darkness, except for his face, which held a psychotic look. He gave an insane smile, and said one word...
"Goodbye."
With that, he unleashed the massive amount of darkness at Firehawk, and the area was silent.

Kileas dropped to one knee after unleashing the attack. "DAMN, that always drains me. But at least it seems I've managed to bring him down. Again."
Kileas looked around briefly before leaping off the mountain. He landed flawlessly and went on his way, silently laughing to himself.
Some time later, a figure dropped out of the sky, and landed on his feet. "What the... damn it, he left! And I thought he wanted to finish this...
Firehawk shook his head and sat down. Well, I guess I should rest, at any rate. I wonder if I'll be able to find anyone I know this time... An ally, of course...
