A shadowy figure could be seen faintly walking through the mist. The fog was so dense, that only her figure could be seen. The girl was slender with long flowing hair. A very faint outline of what looked like giant butterfly wings appeared on her back.
As the figure walked closer, more of her features could be seen. She had vibrant amythest eyes that were just a few shades darker from her ever flowing hair. There were indeed wings on her back; large black butterfly wings that seemed to have stars blinking within them. She wore black knee high boots along with a black halter dress. The girl was a celestial dark fairy.
Upon even closer inspection, one could see that the mist around her was parting. Not one drop of dew touched her body. Although her hair seemed to be laced with the misty dew, it was actually just flecks of star dust that had brushed off on her hair on her flight here.
Sheesh. This place is too quite... And where am I?!
The fairy's name was Yin, meaning darkness or shadow. A perfect name for a celestial dark fairy.

Kurai was waiting for Yin to come. How he knew didnt really make sense. He was sitting on a treebranch looking down twoards her.
"Welcome Yin..." Kurai said slowly.
"Welcome Celestial dark faerie..." Kurai hopped down and bowed to her mockingly smiling. "welcome to the world of human made chaos..." Kurai said pointing to some of the skyscrapers.
"... you are?" Kurai asked and then pointing to himself. "i am Kurai..."

Yin blinked a few times, her eyes glittering thoughtfully in the dark. Her large black butterfly wings disappeared, leaving behind a small shower of what humans called fairy dust. Yin now had a slight idea of where she was, a human civilization. This disturbed and intrigued her. Humans were known to be careless and destructive, and yet they continue to repeat the same mistake year after year.
So now I know where I am...now that leaves only one question.
"Um...I didn't quite catch that. What was your name again?"
After asking that question, she realized that the stranger knew her name before she was able to introduce herself. Her eyebrow raised slightly as she looked at the stranger standing before her.

((erk... oops... ^^;  ) Kurai slapped his forehead in stupidity. damn stupid Kurai human brain...Kurai tried to show off his wings a little more so she wouldnt know he was a human before. "once again i am Kurai.. I felt your dark aura portal and it felt quite welcoming. then i asked one of the devil masters and said you were coming. Yin... correct?" |

A slow smile formed on her lips as Kurai revealed his wings to her. His black wings were dark, ones that could easily blend in with the night. Although she had to say that she preferred her celestial wings to his black devil wings.
"Yes, my name is Yin."
Yin walked closer to Kurai, the heels of her boots clicking against the ground beneath them. Her eyes scanned Kurai with careful inspection. She was not the only celestial fairy that he had met before. The first celestial dark fairy, but not the first celestial fairy.
"So, you're a devil are you? ... You're like me."
The second statement didn't mean that she was also a devil. She knew that Kurai knew that she was a celestial dark fairy. Yin assumed that Kurai was a good person like her, although they were both dark.

Kurai closed his eyes slowly as he spoke seriously.
"ive waited for some other person from the depths of the Abyss to come and be one like me... I needed what you could call. Help"
Kurai then slowly formed an image of a lady with purple fire in the palm of his hand.
"There is this angel.. name Yvonne Kari. In order to keep my power of the demon i have to destroy this angel."
Kurai then looked at Yin.
"I belive you would be more then happy to assist me?"

For a split second, the dark look of her past self flashed through her eyes. Darkness surged through her body during the split second. Once it passed, Yin grabbed Kurai's hand and gazed at the picture of the lovely angel. Her hand passed over the picture of Yvonne, as she studied the image carefully. Her dark magic would do the most damage to the fairy. The purple fire that Yvonne could conjure up wouldn't do that much damage to Yin. Although she wished she had more of an idea of what this Yvonne was like.
"I'll help. What do I gain?"
Yin didn't looked up at Kurai, instead she continued to gaze into his palm. The angel didn't seem especially powerful, but Yin knew better than anyone that looks can be decieving.
"But why do you need my help?"

Kurai sorta was suprised by her sudden movements twoards his hand.
"I dunno whats to gain but the master of darknes really wants her gone... something about the temple they are in..." Kurai then closed his palm as he wanted her attention.
"listen.. this is Fyia.. Ria is another world. it takes too much of my energy to get us back to Ria.. and she lives in RIa so you know? we are sorta stuck here..." Kurai stretched his arms up and pulled it behind.
"buttt theres no worry so why bother..."

-.- Yin stared at him in disbelief. First Kurai wanted her to help him kill an angel. But the angel wasn't even on this world. There was nothing to gain. There was no ounce of motivation for her to kill. But since she had already agreed to help...Yin didn't want to back out.
"You're...worried about an angel...that isn't on this planet?! And where is Ria? What is Ria!?"
Yin inhaled a breath of air before calming herself. She didn't really like the idea of doing somebody else's dirty work; she had always done her own thing. Yet, allies were always good. And right now, Kurai was the only person she knew in this entire world.
I wonder who this darkness master is...

Kurai looked at Yin smugly.
"Why the rush? shes not going to die for any reason you know? well ill tell you what happened. The master of Darkness on Ria... he came and is trying to take ova that planet. For reasons? i dunno. but... he is different.. but w/e. He was close to taking ova the planet but then all the sudden this Gurl named Kari... she blasted him with a celestial beam or somethin..."
Kurai made some sorta diagram with his hands.
"well.. he wants us to get rid of Kari... He seems to be too much for him alone. also he is training and stuff.." Kurai scratched his back head.
"he is merciless.." Kurai looked at the ground. "... yeah..."

Yin sweatdropped and decided not to press the matter more. She couldn't understand why the "master of darkness" would send somebody else to eliminate Kari. Unless he feared death. It was stupid to send somebody weaker...unless Kurai was actually stronger than the "master of darkness." And the only reason Kurai wasn't the "master of darkness" was because Kurai actually had a good heart.
All these thoughts and connections sped through her mind as she finally let out a sigh.
"So...what is there to do in this human infested world?"
Yin looked around trying to find something remotely interesting. The only thing she saw was some blurry objects somewhere in the dense fog.

Kurai smirked when Yin finally asked that question.
"Well you know its going to be faster to make the portal to Ria as soon as we eat some freash souls and convert it to energy for ourselves..." Kurai laughed that devil laugh tryin to look tough.
"really... your not a full devil are you Yin?' Kurai looked at her curiously. "your wings.. they are different.. like a faeries.." Kurai said slowly.
"yes.. much like a faerie... are you a split race?"

Amusement danced in Yin's eyes as she began to laugh. Her laugh was like a sweet melody, but that was partially because she had somehow absorbed a siren's power.
"I am a celestial dark fairy. Nothing else."
Yin's managed to tone down her laughing as she thought about eating souls. She had given up on eating souls because so many were now corrupted. They no longer gave the same satisfaction as they did a few hundred years ago. Perhaps the souls were better here.
When Yin did not have souls to feast upon, she relied on emotions or natural stuff that were related to the night. Yin could feed off somebody's depression, anger, saddness, any dark feeling. She could also eat the moonlight, stars, shadows, etc...

"where should we go first? there are a few cities (villages) over here... but im sure there will only be a few pure humans. so i can't promise a delicacy..."
Kurai smiled and offered a hand.
"care to dine with me tonight?" Kurai said jokingly.

Yin giggled as she jokingly placed her hand on top of Kurai's offered hand and curtsied.
"I would love to, sir."
If there are no good souls tonight, I'll settle for some shadows...
Her eyes sparkled in the night as she went over what had happened since she arrived. The instant she arrived, she had made an ally with a devil. She is supposed to kill an angel called Yvonne who is on Ria. And now they were heading into town.
