Although tanner was wearing a bright, lime green collared shirt, he blended in fairly well with the tackily-dressed tourists common to the area during summer. A small family walked by in front of him, probably headed to the docks for a day on the water...it was fair to assume so since they were all wearing striped polos and bermuda shorts. Typical "sailor" wear. They laughed giddily as they talked. Tanner frowned and tossed the remainder of his turkey sandwich in the bushes.
A handsome man, Tanner was always well-kept and clothed in the finest there was to offer. Today he was wearing a pair of obscenely expensive black flip-flops, another obscenly expensive pair of khakis and, of course...yet another obscenely expensive shirt. To top off the top-notch outfit, He sported a fresh silver watch and Gucci sunglasses.
He was out on his daily pilfering excursion, of which he was always very succesful. After tossing away the dregs of his sandwich, Tanner wiped off his manicured hands and looked around. He saw a fat tourist in a whicker hat too busy studying a map to notice Tanner eying him up. As the fat man passed, Tanner followed. He glanced at the man's large rear and noticed a fat pocketbook bulging noticeably from the left back pocket. Tanner kept his "poker-face" so as to not be conspicuous...he sped up and brushed past the large man, deftly pocketing his wallet in one smooth movement. The fat man didn't even look up.
Tanner turned and entered a small open-air shop to look at watches and sunglasses...
