Before I begin, this game is definitely not for everyone. Wrestling fans (kinda like meself) will enjoy it, otherwise you'll probably shrug and move on.
Graphics: Some of the most realistic graphics thus far, except for the ultra-crappy looking crowd... other than this, you'd almost, ALMOST swear you're watching a real WWE match. Certain things prevent this, of course, but it's still quite amazing. 10/10
Sound: Every hit, SOLID. Voices? Only from the ref counting. Yeah, no real voice acting. But the music is ripped directly from real life, the themes are flawless except for a select few (God knows why). Licensed music is broadly ranged, this game introduced me to a band called Zebrahead, and they kick @$$. 8/10.
Control: Very intuitive, you can hit most moves without a second thought. Some of the moves are a bit more complicated, and it can take a while to learn the timing for countering moves, but all in all, simple to get into. 9/10
Story: Yeah, there's a story mode. You start off as a trainee (you have to create your own character for this) and work your way up to the top of the business. However, the story turns out to be fairly weak, so it's really not the best experience. 6/10.
Other: The creation system is so damn good, I've seen designs for people to create Pokemon in it. It's incredibly detailed... though why the frick would I want to play a wrestling game as Charizard?
Overall: If you aren't a wrestling fan, then this isn't recommended, really. But if you ARE, and you have a Gamecube, go get it.
Oh, and no quips about wrestling being crappy or fake and all that, I've heard it before and I don't give a damn. Screw it, here's Kirby to close out the review. <(^_^)>
He dances, too.
