Final Fantasy X
Platform: PS2
Concept: Save the world, get the girl, in a depressing kind of way.
Story: 9.5 Superb story...although it does start off a bit slow. After a while you get to understand everything and you are hooked. Although the characters in the story are a bit annoying. Yuna is your typical final fantasy girl and tidus is a sorry wimpy annoying squeaky voiced kid. Auron rules though, as does kimahri, lulu, rikku, and wakka. Some people think Wakka is annoying...but I thought he was cool
Graphics: 10.0 Awesome! Detailed! Clear! They were top notch! Not much else I can say here.
Sound: 10.0 Great music. Great voice acting. Even though Tidus' voice was squeaky and annoying. It still was done well as far as voice acting goes. It was full of emotion and all. The music was agian done by Nubuo Uematsu! None of his music stinks....geez that guy rules.
Playability: 10.0 Fluid battle. Easy controls on walking around. What else is there?
Entertainment: 9.0 Keeps you playin till the end! Although it was a bit depressing..but hey...life isnt all fun and games.
Overall: 9.5 Not my favorite Final Fantasy installment, but still worthy of the name.
Replay Value: Moderately High. You may want to be depressed all over again...or you may not
Final Fantasy X-2
Platform: PS2
Concept:GIRLS JUST WANNA HAVE FUN!!!! in a Final Fantasy, save the day, find Tidus sort of way.
Story: 7.0 It's a sequel...which makes the story kind of....shallow. But its still kind of cool....take note that I said kind of. All that keeps you on the edge of your seat is wondering what happened to Tidus...so play through all of FFX before playing this one.
Graphics: 10.0 Square-enix improved on perfection. Better facial expressions and character features. Backgrounds and monsters are the same.
Sound: 8.0 Voice acting ruled. The music did too in my opinion. But it didn't have the Final Fantasy feel that the music usually does. Probably because Nubuo Uematsu didnt do it. But its kinda a bit of shaft and a bit of charlies angels.
Playability: 10.0 The battle system.....THE BATTLE SYSTEM! I LOVE IT! It is so fun! It makes the game awesome. Walking around is easy too. No bad camera angles and such.
Entertainment: 8.0 The battle system makes it so fun. Although...the story stinks...except I wanna know what happend to Tidus!!
Overall: 8.0 I liked it, but....the story...ugh...and the whole yay! aspect of it kinda threw me off. Its very very upbeat. As i said before girls just wanna have fun. Oh and these girls happen to not wear very much. That erked me also..... So if your parents won't like that part of it, do not buy this game.
Replay Value: Extremely High: This game has only 5 chapters so it isnt all that long. probably about 20 hours. Plus the mini games and collecting all the dress spheres is fun as heck.
