The black clouds over the great, grim city were thicker than the heads of past U.S. senators. Blackish-blue lightning hailed down from the sky to a steady beat, and the hot, grey wind scorched the buildings on the western outskirts of the city.
Argidon was a great, bleak city. There was not a hope alive in those eerie streets; many a rumor spoke of evil demons that roamed the city, even in complete day light. Many a deadbeat walked the streets, some of them without shoes. Some bummed for money; others, wasted their lives away in a dingy, filth-ridden bar. Only the rich were content with the dim city. They sat in the coziest of couches on the top floors of the massive, blackish buildings.
Sulvrin’s sleek, black fighter jet burst through the ominous clouds towards the neglected city. It was difficult to see; everything looked so bleak and dark that the entire city of Argidon seemed to be one dense, lightless void. Sulvrin pushed the speed of his ship to the limits and nearly burst the thrusters as he blasted towards Argidon at an unprecedented speed. He skillfully spun his ship around the city in an arc, narrowly dodging the tall, polluted buildings that reached for the skies. Sulvrin came dangerously close to colliding several times, laughing mildly at his deadly game. Zagur, who was also in the ship, was not quite as tickled as his disciple Sulvrin was.
“There. That is our destination” Zagur said, pointing to one of the great buildings up ahead. It was a spired black tower; It was the most twisted and jagged building ever made by the hands of men. The great spike atop of the tower scraped the dark, brewing skies. It seemed to cast a fateful gaze upon everything in the city. The only thing in the world that could possibly cast a more hateful glare than this was Zagur. Its mouth was open at its base. A black, spiky gate rose out of the ground in front of it, to prevent anyone who was unwanted from entering it. The was only enough room for a small fighter to slip over the wall without crashing into the ceiling.

Sulvrin, in his ship, sped over the city at crazy speeds, nearly missing a few buildings. He started to slow down a little, as he approached the strange building that Zagur told him to go.
Just as soon as the spiky gate had opened, Sulvrin zoomed through, into the hanger of the weird building. As soon as he was in there though, he had to slam the ship to a complete stop so that he wouldn’t hit another ship going at the normal speed. “Geez! How slow do they have to go?” He quietly said.
Now, at a much slower speed, Sulvrin found a place to land the ship. After landing it, he jumped out and grabbed his axe. I wonder what we are doing here. He thought as he waited for Zagur to do something.

As soon as Sulvrin landed the ship, Zagur grabbed Medraeigus, which was lying at his feet, and threw it down to the ground. Zagur leapt out of Sulvrin’s ship with a burst of speed, landing on his feet in a crouching position. Zagur stood up in a calm and cool fashion, unparalleled by those around him, and put his hand to the grip of his sword, which was sticking into the ground by about six inches. Zagur drew it out from the concrete floor and strapped it back onto his firm shoulder. Zagur gave a glance at Sulvrin, signaling for him to follow. He then walked straight towards an old, obsolete elevator on the side of the room. There were many more year 2536 Energy Chamber elevators right next to the old 2000’s elevator which he had gotten into. Apparently, Zagur did not care.
“See you at the top, Sulvrin.” Zagur unstrapped Medraeigus and slammed it into the ceiling of the elevator car. Once he had made a gaping hole in the top, Zagur made a great leap through the hole. Zagur swung his great sword around, cutting one of the cables to the elevator car. With the cable cut, the car shot skyward, and Zagur with it.

Sulvrin followed behind Zagur through the building. He looked around the whole time he was walking. He was looking at all the target possibilities. They were on the bottom floor and eventually got to the elevators. Sulvrin watched as Zagur found a quick way to the top. Snap! Did he just cut the cord to send that joint flying to the top? Sulvrin though as he watched. I guess I better find a quick way too.
After pressing the button to have one of the new elevators come and get him, he ;pried the outside doors open with his axe. He looked up to see his elevator coming down toward him. Before the elevator got there, Sulvrin tossed a powerful bomb into the elevator shaft.
Finally, the elevator arrived, and Sulvrin stepped in with a few other people. “Have you ever seen a gun fire before?” Sulvrin asked them, not expecting an answer. “Well now you’ll get be something like that, but a whole lot bigger! Hahaha!” He laughed evilly. The elevator had already started going up so the people weren’t able to get out.
About just as soon as the elevator started going up, the bomb that Sulvrin had thrown under it exploded, sending the elevator flying to the top. In just a few seconds, the elevator had crashed into the very top. Sulvrin quickly jumped out, into the hall right before a giant, fiery explosion ripped the elevator and its shaft to pieces. That is when Sulvrin saw Zagur again. “See! I didn’t take too long either.” He told Zagur.

The force of gravity increased its pressure on Zagur as he shot to the top of the building atop his elevator car at speeds easily exceeding 80 vars per second. Zagur’s hair whipped in front of him as he shot further up the elevator shaft. The ceiling was quickly approaching. At this speed, Zagur would be crushed by the top of the shaft in mere seconds.
Then, Zagur leapt out of the elevator right when it reached the top floor. The car exploded behind him, erupting in a wave of heat and shards of metal. Zagur rolled once one the ground and landed on his feet in a crouching position; his hands supporting him on the ground, and his mighty weapon stretched out flat in front of him. Smoke and ashes filled the room behind him. Zagur stood up and slung Medraeigus to his shoulder again and strapped it in place, and then nonchalantly walked away from the flaming chamber.
“OH $#*% !!!” Sarmir yelled as he spun his chair around at the sound of the explosion. His unruly hair was frizzed slightly, and his face slightly blackened. To his surprise, Zagur stood before him, with not a single scratch or blemish in color on him. Zagur stared down at the wily little man, awaiting to give him his report on the destiny mission.
“We have found their base” Zagur said with his usual dark, deep tone. His body was straight, and his muscles firm as he stood there glaring at the biochemical menace. Zagur was not one to take part in idle talk. Instead, he would rather wait for the other to speak to him so that he could resume his quest as quickly as possible.
KA-BOOM!
More fire erupted from Sulvrin’s Energy Chamber elevator. The youth brushed his bright, spiky orange hair and walked up to Zagur, spinning his axe for entertainment. There were burning bodies of the people in the elevator sprawled out on the floor, turning to a smoldering pile of ashes. Zagur looked over at Sulvrin and stared at him for the wreckage he had caused for no reason. Sulvrin always had been an unruly disciple, always killing people whenever he got the chance, to give himself pleasure. Zagur could find no way of convincing him to ‘lay low’ on the killing for even short intervals, such as when they went to meet with an ally. Sulvrin cared for no one; he would slay friend and foe alike when given the chance.
“You bastard!” Sarmir screeched at Sulvrin. “Why the hell did you have to do that?! Get out of my sight!” The little whelp of a man stormed and raged at the young mercenary for his actions. Zagur unstrapped his sword from his shoulder in an instant, and slammed the flat end of it onto the Doctor Evil’s head. Sarmir fell to the blow and crumpled to the floor, his mouth uttering no more profanity.
“My disciple has my permission to do what he pleases. You shall not reproach him for anything, or you will find yourself skewered on the end of my own blade.” Zagur glared at the little man, who was rubbing his aching head. Zagur had nearly smashed it to bits with his blow. While Sarmir recovered his wits, Zagur turned and spoke with Sulvrin.
“Go now” he told him. “Return to the hanger and wait for me. I shall speak with him alone.” At that, Zagur turned and walked towards the back of the room, where there was a private chamber. Sarmir, with his head still spinning, crawled over towards the chamber. Zagur pressed the button on the wall next to the door to the chamber, and the door slid out of the way. Turning again to Sulvrin, Zagur said, “…And Sulvrin, try to stay put, and out of trouble.” He then walked into the room, Sarmir whimpering woefully behind him.

“Ok, Fine.” Sulvrin said, walking away. I won’t get in trouble… It’s whoever else is down there that will be in trouble! Sulvrin thought as he was riding one of the remaining elevators back down again. After a short trip down, the elevator arrived at the lower floor again and Sulvrin stepped off.
Sulvrin waited down in the hanger for a few minutes, sitting on his ship. “How long is he going to take? I’m bored.” He said to himself. Suddenly, as he was looking around the room, Sulvrin spotted a beer machine. “Tight! Just what I need!” He spoke as he jumped up and walked quickly over to the machine. There was just one problem. A drunk dude was standing right in Sulvrin’s way. Actually it wasn’t a problem, for with a downward chop with his axe, Sulvrin walked right through the dude who now looked like an opening book.
Finally, Sulvrin got to the beer machine. He put in one coin ,but nothing came out right away. “Hey! Give me beer!” ”Sulvrin yelled at the machine. With that, he slammed the machine with the broad side of his axe and all the beers came out at once. “I got the jackpot!” Sulvrin yelled happily, and started to chug.
Just then though, someone came up and interrupted his drinking.
Dude: “Hey, you just broke that machine.”
Sulvrin: “I don’t care. It wasn’t mine anyway. Plus, I got all the beer put by my ship. I’m taking them. There won’t be any broken glass from me that you need to clean up.” Sulvrin replied to the guy who happened to be the clean up dude.
Annoyed at the guy, Sulvrin hacked at him violently with his axe, spinning it over his head first. Oops… That was the cleaner guy… Now there won’t be anyone to clean up the mess all over the floor. There problem, not mine.
Suddenly, about fifteen people charged at Sulvrin, to try to stop him. There’s just one way to put it though… They didn’t! Sulvrin just spun his axe around as they came, making just a bigger mess. During the chaos, another drunk druggie snuck over to Sulvrin stash of beer and picked up a bottle to drink. “Hey! Get your hands off my beer!” Sulvrin yelled at him. Just as he had yelled that, Sulvrin pulled out his disrupter rifle and disintegrated the dude’s hand. “Ha! I got you hand off!” Sulvrin said, but then the bottle fell to the ground and broke. “Why’d you break it? Die!” Sulvrin screamed in rage. He then finished him off with another disrupter blast and got a new beer while he waited for Zagur again, but now in an empty room.

“Now Sarmir, we have found the headquarters base of Corvina as you desired. What are our new orders?” Zagur glared down at the wily little Sarmir, and the evil mastermind seemed almost to cower in fear of him. After several moments of silence, the General of Urgidon recovered from his condition and rose to his feet. He still seemed a bit shaky, but he had regained his senses enough to answer him.
“Oh, yes…Zagur Verxia, I have decided upon your next assignment. You and Sulvrin have found the New Wave Academy, the HQ base of Corvina. That was the first step in our process to attack and overrun them. Now, since you are the only two to know where their base is (we didn’t want you to send a signal to us electronically for the risk of it being intercepted or tracked), you must lead our forces to it.”
Sarmir turned around and pressed a small blue button on the wall. Instantly, a holographic image of an Urgidon base appeared. It showed a massively large fleet of airships being prepared to take to the skies for the attack on Corvina’s HQ. The fleet consisted of hundreds of airships, both the small and sleek destroyer vessels, as well as the massive cruisers.
“We are going to attack their city with our airship fleet, as you can see here” Sarmir explained. “You and Sulvrin are going to be fleet commanders for this battle, second only to the fleet Admiral Dargunae Scourge. Your orders are simple: destroy as much of the enemy as possible until our forces are deployed. Once the battle goes your way, you will be signaled for further orders elsewhere in Fyia. Admiral Scourge will finish up the fight. Do you understand everything, Zagur?”
Zagur stared spitefully at Sarmir with the wicked look of concealed hatred in his eyes. His words were firm and terse. “I do. Victory shall be granted you today, unless the admiral fails after I take my leave. I hope for your sake that he does not.”
Zagur turned to leave, but Sarmir stopped him before he went, having one more thing to tell him. “If you remember, Zagur, I still have need of energy to support my weaponry…can you supply me with some of what you harvest from the battle?”
Zagur turned slowly, his sword still on his shoulder. “The harvest shall continue” was his staunch reply. Sarmir rubbed his hands together greedily, and led Zagur out of the private room back towards one of the Energy Chambers that would take him down to the hangar.
“You and Sulvrin can do as you please until 0400 hours. Then you must meet the airship force en-route to our destination. Good luck, Zagur. Harvest well.” Sarmir handed Zagur a small electronic pocket map. On it was data showing the path of the airship fleet, as well as where the fleet would be at each hour. This would allow Zagur to meet up with the fleet at any time before the battle in Sulvrin’s fighter jet.
Zagur nodded slightly and walked into the Energy Chamber. A low humming noise started up as green energy formed under his feet. It became solid, as firm as the planet itself. The metal floor underneath Zagur opened up, and he descended down the Energy Chamber; his face stoical, and his eyes stormy and remote. After only a few seconds, Zagur had arrived at the bottom of the chamber. The humming ceased, and Zagur walked into the hangar. Looking around him, he saw that the place had been hit by something unrelenting and powerful. Seeing Sulvrin over in the corner chugging his well-earned booze, Zagur nonchalantly approached him, seemingly not noticing the blood, death and carnage around him. Glaring severely, Zagur said, “I thought I told you to stay put and out of trouble.”

“Trouble? I got in trouble? How? I just had fun down here. Do you call that getting in trouble? They are the ones who got in trouble!” Sulvrin said, motioning towards his enemies. “So. Anyway. What did you talk about up there. What are we supposed to do next?” Sulvrin said. He chucked his now empty beer bottle out the window behind him. After breaking through the glass, the bottle hit a passer by in the head, knocking him out to the ground. Anything can be a weapon! Even empty beer bottles. Maybe that’s how the hobos took over the city where I live… Sulvrin thought as he waited for Zagur’s reply.

"Is there anything you need, master?" DoubleX strode over to a big leather chair on the brighter side of the room and took a seat...

Zagur shook his head slightly and said nothing for a moment. He knew that there was absolutely no way to restrain his young apprentice entirely. Sulvrin loved violence too much to give it up. But on the inside, Zagur was actually quite pleased at Sulvrin’s love for displaying power and being brutal.
[glow=purple,2,300]He will some day soon learn the true meaning of power, and his purpose with it. Yes, someday soon indeed...[/glow]
“We are leading the attack on Corvina in a few hours. You can do as you like until then. Just don’t draw too much attention to yourself” Zagur told him. Zagur turned away and looked out at all the transport vessels that were docked in the hangar. After a few moments, he spotted a pilot to one of these vessels.
“Do what you please, Sulvrin” Zagur told his disciple before he headed over to the ship pilot. “Just be at the battle on time. I will not tolerate any delays regarding the assault on Corvina’s capitol. Remember that.”
[glow=maroon,3,000]~~Meanwhile…~~[/glow]
Sarmir rubbed his hands greedily as he scurried about his office with a wily look on his face. His mustache twitched with anticipation at the prospect of the upcoming battle.
Zagur and Sivcon will lead the battle…and with Dargunae there as well, our victory over Corvina is sure! I hope Zagur harvests a good crop of energy for me…
Sarmir turned around and saw a shady character sitting right behind him. “GAH!!!” Sarmir burst out as he heard his voice. Sarmir pulled out a large gun from out of his lab coat that was twice his size. It looked like something that people would use to hunt elephants, not against people.
Ker-CHACK!!!
A fierce look was on the short evil mastermind’s face as he pointed his weapon of mass death right at DoubleX. Sweat splattered on the ground beneath him as he stood there, frozen. Then he lowered his gun slowly.
“Dammit! Don’t sneak up on me like that!” Sarmir snarled in anger at his henchman, who was calmly seated in one of his leather chairs. Sarmir cursed under his breath and dropped his weapon.
“OW! $#*%, &@!$, *^#* !!!” he yelled when his gun landed on his foot. “d**n Minigun! So fsucking heavy!”
After several minutes of hopping around, screaming torrents of profanity, Sarmir calmed himself and addressed his henchman.
“Well, what is it?” he snarled, his thick eyebrows furrowed and his cheeks turning purple. “…Oh wait…I remember…I called you up here earlier didn’t I? Well, why didn’t you come sooner, you d**n fool? ……Well, since you’re here…”
Sarmir tapped his foot as he tried to remember what he wanted his underling to do. Then he snapped his fingers as he remembered.
“Ah! Yes, I remember now. I want you to accompany Admiral Scourge in the attack. This is a very dangerous job, and you might not live to see the end of it, but then again, that is why I give these sort of jobs to expendable agents like youself, anyway.” Sarmir smiled evilly at DoubleX, showing no compassion for him, even though this mission was highly dangerous.
“Any questions?” he asked his lackey.
Heh…either he will accept the mission and sabotage the base before the enemy kills him, or he won’t obey me, and then I’ll kill him here. Either way, his result will be the same. I suppose I should consider pitying him, but…that stuff is for those wussy good guy people.

"Yes sir. It shall be done." DoubleX stood from his chair and strode over to the drink table, picking up a crystal glass as he did. He poured himself a glass of brandy and began to swirl it around.
"Do you beleive the corvinan people will fall?" He sipped at his drink when he finished...

((OOC - ...))
DoubleX placed his glass of brandy down on the red marble table. An ominous sound resonated through the chamber as it clipped the side.
DoubleX noticed a small slip of paper on the floor and strode over to it. His long, black, missionary cloak flowing like water as he walked.
"Hmmm. 'the link in alex's sig will lead to the char...' The rest is torn off. Odd. Well, What exactly is it you need me to do?" DoubleX crumpled the piece of paper and turned around. As he did, the crumpled piece of paper curled and burned away at a mere thought crossing his mind. He dropped his hand to his side and the ashes fell like snow onto the black marble floor.
DoubleX strode over to the large window and stared out, the faint, slightly blue-ish light casting a long shadow on the floor behind him...

“I can do whatever I want for a few hours? Sweet!” Sulvrin replied to Zagur. “Well, see ya!” Sulvrin had spotted a bar across the street and was already headed there. As Sulvrin was crossing the road, a car was speeding straight towards him. To solve that problem, Sulvrin chucked a five second delay grenade on the pavement. By the time the car was right above the grenade, the grenade exploded, sending the car, which was now a burning ball of fire, through the air and it crashed into a building. A short while later, it blew up, and shard of car pieces flew through the air like bullets. There was also a quite large pothole, or maybe, crater left in the road.
By the time Sulvrin was in the bar, everyone else was crammed against the windows to see what happened. Sulvrin had most of the bar to himself now. “What are they so exited about? Don’t they see that kind of stuff everyday like I do?” He told the bartender and ordered a beer.
(A few hours later.)
After Sulvrin had finished his who knows how many beers (he can’t get drunk), he went back to meet Zagur. He saw him there, by his ship. “Are we going to attack now?” Sulvrin asked Zagur.

Zagur stood off by himself by a bench near an energy chamber. His eyes were shut as he dwelled upon the upcoming battle.
[glow=purple,2,300]It matters not whether the armies of Shurnon are victorious. All that is important is that I demonstrate my power.[/glow]
Zagur opened his eyes and looked at Sulvrin. “The battle is in less than an hour.” He turned his back to Sulvrin and said, “You broke your old record. You are growing more powerful. Soon you will be strong enough to destroy those you hate.”
Zagur was referring to the great Republic Mind Matter. It was the organization that Sulvrin thought was responsible for the deaths of his parents. Zagur knew that Sulvrin would not rest until he had sought revenge.
[glow=purple,2,300]My disciple must prove himself to possess the power to command his destiny. Then, he can fulfill his purpose…[/glow]
