I haven't heard enough of their work myself to decide whether I like it or not. Ditto.

Well, lately I've been really into...
Green Day Linkin Park Lostprophets (still) Shinedown Zebrahead (anyone heard of these guys?)
Among others I can't think of right now. Who knows why.
EDIT: GAH! I forgot Seether!

Well first, as for Pink Floyd: they're really really talented and they've got good stuff, but they're not my favorite. And as for the metal thing, and who's the heaviest, well, no offense, but Marelyn Manson is nowhere near the heaviest, I do like some of his stuff, but when you've got the worlds of DeathMetal, Blackmetal, Speedmetal, MetalCore, I just think he's not as heavy as quite a few people. As for good metal bands, well . . . the only one that anyone here might have heard of is Drowning Pool, who's allright, but not great, and the rest of um are really hardcore underground.
Anyway. . . yeah, metal's cool.

I like all kinds of stuff...Drum n Bass, Rock, REAL rap, but metal is where my heart is.
It's a far stretch to call Marilyn Manson metal, if anything it would be mallcore(known as metalcore to some) but it's too...Manson-ish i guess. Drowning Pool is not true metal either. Sorry but I'm somewhat of a Metal-Purist so I like to categorize alot, however, I do know my way around the genre.
I also was reading through the earlier pages and noticed someone asked who the heaviest band ever was...it's all about interpretation. I like to think that Cattle Decapitation's sound is just obscenely heavy. Meshuggah is also damn heavy but they actually have artistry in their music so it's really good at the same time.

Yeah, I knew that you wern't pointing him out as Metal, I was just saying. Anyway, while metal rocks, it's not my favorite. It depends on my mood (which doesn't vary that much) but I prefer ska, old-school jazz, funk, or like The Who among other things. Hey, anyone ever heard of Les Sans-Coulottes? (excluding those who I've told about them.)

Lately, I've been listening to a lot of different stuff.
Most of all, Tool. AWESOME FREAKIN' BAND. PURE AWESOME.
Aerosmith (somewhat) Seether (still) Green Day (always) Linkin Park (always) Zebrahead (still) Weird Al Yankovic (whenever possible, YEAH) and other stuff I can't come up with right now. And Disturbed. a bit.

Yeah, i like Wierd Al as well. I like it when he makes fun of those "charter" songs. Those songs that somehow gets up to the billards. My favorite Wierd Al song would have to be, er, "Your Horoscope for today" and "Ebay."
