The snaps and crackles of the energy transfer died down quickly, leaving nothing but a dark figure, curled into a ball and glaring over its knees through the gloom. Its piercing, silvery eyes surveyed the area carefully, not wanting to miss a detail. The creature recognized that it had appeared in a dark alleyway, and that it was in the middle of some type of city. It was surprisingly quiet, and the nearby streetlamp cast the street, still damp from the night's light rainstorm, in a soft blue light.
The creature stood, its right arm flexing as it shone in the light. Its silver robes fluttered as it emerged into the lamp's circle, and blinked a few times as its eyes adjusted.
Interesting to be back . . .
Suddenly, it turned and leapt about thirty feet straight up, coming down on the roof of a nearby building after slowing its descent with its large wings. Striding to the edge of the building, Mahandronis surveyed the street, his tail twitching in anticipation.
So begins the search . . .
He tapped a few buttons on his mechanical right arm, and a display popped up in his head, accompanied by a soft voice.
"Kasyune's weapon is not in this general area. Currently in Puralgatha, capital of the country Zefta. Airborne city, often associated with light. No immediate threats detected."
Nodding and switching off the Identifier, Mahandronis again swept the streets with his gaze.
Now we'll just see what happens . . .

Jimmy walked out of a local bar, with each arm around two girls. Realizing that it was night he removed his sunglasses. As the owner of the establishment ran to pursue him about an unpaid bill, James turned, and had on his face an expression that said, 'man, do I really have to?'
Pay me now or I'm going to kill you!
The slightly drunken owner of the bar yelled at him.
Let me go or I'll kill you and everyone in your bar . . . and ummm. . . your family!
Jimmy shouted back with a grin. The owner pulled a some form of laser projector, but it was too late. Jimmy had already drawn his two automatic handguns and the streams of bullets were closing in of the belligerent man. The squelching sound of bullets through bone was heard as the rounds peirced the man's head in more places then Jimmy cared to count.
Spinning the guns around the trigger-guards, Jimmy flamboyantly replaced the weapons in their hip holsters. Turning while putting on his shades, he was three steps away before the last body hit the ground.
Well that was fun, who's next?
Jimmy said, trying to contain a growing smile.

Mahandronis was alerted by the sound of speech, and further intruiged as he heard gunfire behind him. He strode to the other side of the roof and gazed down at the scene of violence. His eye caught a figure striding away with what seemed to Mahandronis to be a somewhat cocky expression.
"Computer, is that someone I should know?"
"Negative. Subject has no Isonian records and no genetic connection to any Isonian. As you witnessed, appears to be armed with two automatic firearms and is quite quick. Small amounts of bullets will be harmless to you, but excessive numbers at close range could be problematic. Be on guard."
Mahandronis gazed down, his eyes focusing on the person.
"Takes a bit more than a trigger-happy drunkard to take me down, I should hope, but I suppose I'll take your advice for now . . . "

As Jimmy strutted away from the blood-soaked bar, his glasses alerted him to a creature standing on a nearby roof, watching him. Paying no heed, Jimmy eyed a brick building across the street. Deciding that he had not had enough fun yet, he crossed his arms. When he removed his arms from the linked position, he had in his hands two handguns, and the straps around his wrists were bare. Pulling the triggers several times consecutively, the explosive shells bore a hole in thick brick quickly. As James approched it, he heard the screaming sounds of wakened civillians, frightened, and drawn to the explosions. Replacing the concussion pistols, he, for the second time that night drew his automatic handguns at his hips. The tired victims, now paralyzed with fear made no movement. As Jimmy entered the farily large hole he paced around, amongst the terrified peoeple, aiming at each of them in turn. With one swift motion, James spun his guns around the trigger fingers, and turned while shooting. Replacing his guns just as the now lifeless corpses fell at his feet. With one quick motion, he had downed twenty plus people. His presence would no longer go undected, and he would have a large price on his head.
Perfect.
He thought with a grin, as he fired one final concussion blast at the main support beam, brining down the building that he was now outside of, killing any fortunate enough to have survived his initial assult.

Mahandronis observed, then shook his head.
"Computer, why is it doing that?"
"Unknown. Likely it has some mental affliction, possibly just severe enough to enable it to aquire pleasure from the pain of others."
"Let's see if you're right, hmm?"
Getting a short running start, Mahandronis leapt from the building, flaring his wings to slow his descent onto the ground. He landed in a crouching position, then stood and began slowly striding towards the man with the guns.
"Interesting display, was there a reason for it?"

Firehawk's mind had been whirling ever since he started to remember everything that had happened last time he came to Fyia. The first meeting in Dathomir, involving Longshanks, Vahn... and Setthirosa. The only other incident he remembered was the unbelievable event of the Arkane Lands, with Alexander, Keijina... and Mahandronis. He thought he would remain, and try his hardest to bring down Mahandronis... but more important matters came up, or so he thought.
Now that he thought about this, as he walked into Puralgatha, he realized that he may very well have had his chance once again. Except... what would he be able to do against one being so powerful?
Firehawk had been looking at the ground the whole time, and finally raised his head. Something didn't seem right. He didn't see anyone around... What the hell... someone's still gotta be out here.
Firehawk continued to walk through the city, oblivious to the feeling that something was going to go incredibly wrong very soon.

"Whoa! Cool."
Jimmy said as the winged creature landed in front of him.
"I don't know, you were the one watching things from the roof, probably gathering information. You tell me."
He said with a half-mouthed smirk. Whoever this was, Jimmy felt confident that he could and would take him down, but no reason to tell him everything right? Jimmy smiled confidently as he reached for his glasses. Taking them off, he had one arm at his side, and the other on his hip.
"You're funny-lookin'."
Jimmy said looking up at the large creature.
"What's your deal?"
He asked.

Mahandronis shook his head.
"I can only observe so much; the thoughts of other beings are off limits to me."
Well, not entirely true, but no need to be boastful . . .
"I am Mahandronis. My purposes are . . . many and complex. It would take much time to explain. Can you tell me where I am?"

Voices... I can hear someone over there...
Firehawk slowly made his way to where he thought he had heard someone talking, staying in the shadows. Last time he had done this, he had blundered into a barrel, and this triggered a sequence of events that led to the Arkane Lands incident.
This time, however, went without mishap, and soon Firehawk was peering around a building, but seeing nothing. What the... damn, must be on the other side...
Still remaining silent, he crept to the other side, and again saw nobody. urgh. That means they're... behind where I'm at... hope they can't hear me, could be hostile. Firehawk quietly loosened his sword just to be safe.

Adressing the large winged creature, Jimmy laughed and responded.
"No idea, but there are lots of hot chicks, and the civilians scream good when you shoot um'."
James turned, and once again donned his sunglasses, his back to Mahandronis, he began to walk away.
"I'll deal with you later, I've got women to woo."
Just as he began to walk, Jimmy became aware of another presence listening to them, from a hidden location. He chuckled, and drew an automatic handgun from his hip holster.
"You care for eavesdroppers?"
He said to Mahandronis with a smile.

laying face down in the bar door, Teran still couldn't find the courage to move, but being unboticed probably had its advantages with this sort of crowd. "Better dead than sorry" his dad had always told him. It seemed he was finally reaping the rewards ofg the advice. Atleast there was one good thing about the night, he wouldn't have to pay the bartender for his drink.
Raising his head barely to is chin, Teran watching the winged creature approach the crazed drunk. He hoped beyond hope that they wouldn't notice him him. One acted Murderous and the other look like a killer alien.
Why did I have to go to vacation here, why did i have to go to this bar? WHY IS IT ALWAYS ME!? Trying to slow his breathing so as not to attract attention, teran watched, hoped, and waited

Damn it, they found me out.
Firehawk thought about what he should do about it, and decided to walk out from his hiding place, hand at his sword. "And I thought I had done a good job of remaining absolutely silent..."
Firehawk finally noticed the other one standing next to the man with the handgun... Oh HELL no... NO! This is DEFINITELY not a good situation to be in...
"So you're STILL here, Mahandronis? This planet giving you trouble in your goal? I hope you remember the fight back at the Arkane Lands so long ago... with Alexander... and Keijina..." Firehawk looked intently at Mahandronis, knowing that there would probably be a shot fired really soon. This is NOT something I wanted to get myself into... DEFINITELY not...

Mahandronis smiled. It was not the smile of one enjoying oneself, but rather one produced for effect to confuse and, possibly, intimidate.
"It's you . . . I think it would be difficult to forget such an event. And it is not so much that this planet is giving me trouble as it is that there are . . . certain things I am looking for."
He raised his mechanical right arm, smiling wider still.
"I am in no humor to fight, but if you insist, your corpse would be another among one hundred thousand to me."

Jimmy lauhged. Apparently the creature couldn't tell that there were two other people observing the scene, one that escaped his massacre, and one that was nothing but a dirty eavesdropper.
"Hey man, look, I'll fight you any time you want, but first, don't you think that we should deal with the people spying on us?"
He said as he walked past Mahandronis to where the man was watching them from around the corner. Jimmy drew a handgun and pointed right at the one listenening to them. He chuckled heartilly.
"Want to die punk?"
He said looking the creature in the eyes.
"Or maybe the large alien fellow would like first crack at you. In any case, I think it's safe to say that you're about to die. So, you might as well tell me your name."

"With you, it would rarely be a fight so much as it would be target practice. I'll admit, I probably wouldn't last 2 minutes against you alone, Mahandronis. I could barely do anything with Alexander's and Keijina's help... and now, who knows what they're doing."
Firehawk then looked over at the other person, who seemed much more normal, at least in appearance. "Found another companion, I suppose."
He turned back to Mahandronis. "I'd normally be crazy enough to go against you here, but I have other matters to deal with. Maybe I can find someone I know, maybe Alexander."
