Yay! This is the first game I've made on this site... cool.
Okay now to explain the rules. This is a game where you make a statement that is either fortunate or unfortunate, depending on which turn it is. It should generally be somewhat related to the whatever was said the turn before, but it doesn't have to.
All right... I know that is really confusing, so I'll give an example. This will probably clear everything up.
The first person to post: Fortunately, I still have a week of summer vacation left.
Next person: Unfortunately, when school does start, you're going to want to staple yourself to death.
Next person: Fortunately, I'll staple my teacher to death instead.
I think the example clears everything up better than my attempt of an explanation. You just say whatever you want that is either positive (fortunately) or negative (unfortunately), and you have to do the opposite of whoever posted before you. I figure we'll get some good laughs out of this game...
Oh yeah. I'd like to say that I was actually inspired to do this game by...Brother Kevin. *gasp shock horror* Yes I can see the frightened looks on your faces. But don't worry, it's actually a good game. Brother Kevin was actually and miraculously being cool at the time that he gave me this idea. So don't flip out.
Okay I'll start us off with a positive statement.
Fortunately, I got to spend my entire day at King's Dominion yesterday with Steph and Amanda and Amanda gave me a hug. *happiness*

Guess I'll do the honors then (cool game btw).
Unfortunately, while hugging you she secretly slipped a time bomb into your pants.

Unfortunately, you seem to be upholding your tradition of not reading. you have to do the opposite of whoever posted before you.
