Shrapnel. It's what actually causes injury, not the explosion.

Oh, and that rifle asked about earlier, I forgot the complete name, but it's my favorite gun in Desert Storm II.

Actually, the most powerful handgun in the world is the Smith & Wesson .500(.50 caliber) a close second is the .50 caliber Desert Eagle.
Japanese longbows were usually 7'? Not sure otherwise.
The M1A1 Abrams tank has Chobham composite armor which consists of many secret materials including plastics, depleted uranium(i think) and steel.

How do railguns work?

basically, railguns have 1 moving part, the armature. it closes the loop between the rails and is forced along the barrel by tremendous electromagnetic forces. these can either be solid pieces of conductive metal or they can be a conductive sabot with some kind of dart or sub-caliber penetrator. railguns also need a tremendous amount of power, which will vary depending on the resistance of the railgun. thats bout all i know bout em.
and i thought the most powerful handgun was the desert eagle, i saw my dad shoot his, and he almost broke his wrist shooting it. the thing is powerful.
name the largest howitser made in WW1, by whom, the weight of the shell, and how far it could be shot. also, how long did it take to set up at the site.
