Armenia City In the Sky by The Who.
(By the way, my song WAS Be Ye Glad, and Beam was one of the artists, but every Christian group out there did this song in the 80s. It was made popular by the group Glad. The songwriter is Michael Kelly Blanchard.)
This will be a tough one for most of you out there, but I'm going to put it here anyway. Tell me who wrote these lyrics. No tunes involved here, just the words.
Before the throne of God above I have a strong and perfect plea A great high Priest whose Name is Love Who ever lives and pleads for me My name is graven on His hands My name is written on His heart I know that while in heaven He stands No tongue can bid me thence depart.
When Satan tempts me to despair And tells me of the guilt within Upward I look and see Him there Who made an end of all my sin Because the sinless Savior died My sinful soul is counted free For God the just is satisfied To look on Him and pardon me.
Behold Him there the risen Lamb My perfect spotless righteousness The great unchangeable I AM King of glory and of grace One in Himself I cannot die My soul is purchased by His blood My life is hid with Christ on high With Christ my Savior and my God.

Before the Throne of God Above by Sonic Flood. BTW, I don't listen to these songs, but my sister is constantly playing it.
An' I wanna move the town to the clash city rockers You need a little jump of electrical shockers You better leave town if you only wanna knock us Nothing stands the pressure of the clash city rockers
You see the rate they come down the escalator Now listen to the tube train accelerator Then you realise that you got to have a purpose Or this place is gonna knock you out sooner or later
So don't complain about your useless employment Jack it in forever tonight Or shut your mouth and pretend you enjoy it Think of all the money you've got
An' I wanna liquefy everybody gone dry Or plug into the aerials that poke up in the sky Or burn down the suburbs with the half-closed eyes You won't succeed unless you try
You owe me a move say the bells of St. Groove Come on and show me say the bells of Old Bowie When I am fitter say the bells of Gary Glitter No one but you and I say the bells of Prince Far-I No one but you and I say the bells of Prince Far-I
An' I wanna move the town to the clash city rockers You need a little jump of electrical shockers You better leave town if you only wanna knock us Nothing stands the pressure of the clash city rockers Rock rock Clash city rockers

To quote Return to Sender: "I have NO idea what that is!"
It’s astounding Time is fleeting Madness takes its toll But listen closely (Not for very much longer) I’ve got to keep control . . .

Time Warp, Rocky Horror Picture Show. Mine was, Clash City Rockers by The Clash.
Well the sheaves have all been brought, but the fields have washed away, And the palaces now stand where the coffins all were laid, And the times we see ahead, we must glaze with rozy hues, For what don’t wish to admit what it is we have to lose. millenia in coming, the modern age is here. it sanctifies the future, yet renders us with fear. so many theories, so many prophecies, what we do need is a change of ideas. when we are scared we can hide in our reveries but what we need is a change of ideas. change of ideas, change of ideas, what we need now is a change of ideas.

((DarkUmbra, SonicFlood has done that song (Before the Throne) but they did not write those lyrics. They were written in 1776 by Charitie Lees Bancroft.))

((How can you not like Donovan? He's the best, aside from Simon & Garfunkel and Don McLean! And if you don't like his songs, then how do you know Celia of the Seals?))

Don't know
WHo's got my back now? When all we have left is deseptive. So disconnected. What is the truth now?
