These are the regulations you must abide to in order to be a part of this site.
1. All role-play posts must be at least more than one line long. I don't wanna see any 'Zetera waited for a reply' or anything like that. In general, try to make posts as long as possible so that they have more content to them. More content means better role-play.
2.No Powerplaying/God-moding. This means that you cannot make your character overly poweful (ex. bam I punched you hard in the face and you crumple to the floor, dead). You cannot say you hit someone in a battle; instead, you say you either aimed for them or completed an attack. The other person gets to decide if he gets hit or not. Ex.:
{Rayan} Rayan thrust his sword directly at his opponent, Kruck.
{Kruck} Rayan's blade cut at Kruck's arm, but it was a minor wound, and he continued to battle.
You also can't keep on dodging or blocking everything someone throws at you. The idea is to be fair. If you don't, it makes things no fun.
3. You cannot kill another person's character without their consent. This is considered to be powerplaying, which is forbidden. You can kill any 'secondary' characters as you like, though. (secondary being characters that you have introduced but aren't somebody's character)
4. No swearing . Cursing is to be kept to a minimum, if not absent from this site altogether. Besides my belief that it is morally wrong to curse, I also feel there are better words to use anyway. (ex.: Sedrick, that was the o-pit-o-me of untubulociousness-see that sounds better and cooler than those worthless four letter words) The administrative team can decide how to respond to this issue as they please: They can delete you for it if they so desire. And let me warn you that my buddy JKrew is more strict on this than I am, so watch it.
5. Your character must be the same gender as you are in real life. Otherwise, things...could get kinda freaky...+.+;;
6. Make your username the same as your character's name. Ex. Mitsuko (Joseph) is Mitsuko. Pretty simple. If you messed up on your username or didn't know beforehand, contact Rayan, Mitsuko, or Kruck and we'll deal with it.
7. While romance is included in this site (and even encouraged by some of us...like me), you shouldn't go off 'the deep end' and get ...overly sexual. It's disgusting, and I don't want anyone pouring out their lusts on this site. Save it for the birds, man!
It is assumed that all persons accessing this site have agreed to these rules, and we hold the responsibility and task of upholding these rules. If you break any of them, you shall be dealt with under the proposed manner:
One: warning by PM. May be restricted from certain areas until the administrators decide otherwise.
Two: Warning by PM, as well as restrictions from any area the administrators agree upon.
Three: Deletion. Once you screw up thrice, you are OUTTA HERE!
Varying on the circumstances, administrators may decide to skip steps 1 and/or two altogether, meaning if the offense is serious enough, you could get deleted immediately. This is so everyone can enjoy this site with as little strife as possible.
8. Lastly, Role-playing takes precedence over chat rooms. This means that you should not stall threads in order to goof off at the general boards. RPing is more important, thus, if someone is waiting for you to reply, do it. It's a way we can serve our fellow rpers.
I hope that you will all follow these rules, and enjoy your time role-playing on Fyia.
