If one looked carefully outside of Dathomir, he could make out a small crater, signifying the spot where a ship had once crash-landed. Or at least, one used to be able to. For one day, that very same ship was back in that very same spot, although it wasn't a pile of wreckage like last time. Mostly because its pilot had become far better at actually piloting it.
"I don't even know why I keep coming back here. I mean, Binak's God knows where, Telan's way dead, and hell if I know what Kileas is up to, probably planning some crap that DOESN'T MATTER TO ME ANYMORE." Firehawk had been sitting inside his ship since the landing, trying to figure out that very thing, why he had returned... again.
"I mean, last time I was here, I couldn't find Alexander, or Keijina, or Vah- no wait, I found Vahn... and Mahandronis on one occasion but that wasn't pleasant in the LEAST... I wonder what the hell ever happened to Longshanks though..." And it would continue like this, with Firehawk naming off each and every person he had met during his 2 visits to Fyia.
"Bah. Why the hell should I even step out of this damn ship. Every single freaking time I visit this city, some PSYCHO attacks me. EVERY SINGLE FREAKING TIME." Which was quite true. "GAH. Should've landed somewhere else, this city seems to be bad luck or something."
The sound of Firehawk's ranting carried out of the ship, but not too far. However, it continued for even longer, until it suddenly stopped and Firehawk stepped out of his ship, sword strapped to his side. "As they say, nothing ventured, nothing gained... I guess... forward I go." With that, he strode into Dathomir, hoping that nobody was going to ambush him.
OOC: That is, of course, an indirect invitation to do so if you wish. XD

As the man stepped out of the ship, two electric blue eyes watched him carefully . . .
This one . . . I've not seen him before . . . have I?
The form slowly shifted around, getting a better look.
Interesting . . . I should gather information. I will not rely on the Assembly; I will learn on my own, and I will grow through my learning.
With this thought, the creature disappeared.
Then, just as suddenly, there was a bubbling from in front of the man. Slowly, a silvery-blue ichor pulled itself into shape, growing taller and taller still, eventually taking the shape of a large, thin human, the only variation being the color and the lack of facial features - save the two piercing eyes.
Mequidra gazed thoughtfully at the creature for a moment. Then:
<This is Fyia, is it not, Human?>

What the- Firehawk had never encountered anything quite like this before. The shapeless mass turned itself into a humanoid shape... At least I'm not being attacked this time.
"Yeah, this is Fyia... Never seen a being quite like you before..." Firehawk scratched his head, seeming at a loss as to how he could continue. Just so long as he's not totally psychotic like Mahandronis or Kileas... or most anyone I've met up with around here that wasn't a friend.

Mequidra slithered closer, narrowing its eyes.
<There are three here I need to find. If you will assist me, you will not be harmed.>
Otherwise . . . an impression must be made on this world. They must know that they are not safe from the Dust should the Assembly see fit to make manifest their ruin.
It looked closely at the creature. There seemed something familiar; had Mequidra encountered it while last on Fyia?
<You may call me Mequidra, Human.>

He's searching for 3? I wonder...
"Well then... my name's Firehawk Sentarl. So... who exactly are you searching for? I might know something about them... maybe even encountered them once." Firehawk didn't exactly like being so straight to the point, but what choice did he have, being in such an awkward position, talking to a being the likes of which he'd never seen before.
Once his intentions become a little clearer, maybe I can decide whether or not I should do anything to help... if he's after anyone I have befriended, though... well, I dunno, looks like he's probably not a pushover, being that shapeshifting... whatever.

Mequidra glided closer still, getting within inches of the creatures face. Its eyes shone downward with blue light as if it wanted to see into the mind of Firehawk.
<The first is Mahandronis, a warrior who caused much destruction in his time here. The second is Sirragard Setthirosa, apprentice to the one called Alexander and daughter of Anknada Setthirosa. The last . . .>
Mequidra thought about how to describe Zaskrit; as much as it needed to find her, it didn't want to seem too enthusiastic, lest it put itself in a poor bargaining position.
< . . . The last is a young woman who has no name, although she calls herself Zaskrit. She is mad, and quite dangerous. It is imperetive that she be stopped before she destroys your world.>
And before she loses that little orb . . . or worse . . . understands it.

Firehawk listened to the list of people Mequidra mentioned, realizing he had actually seen one of the main ones and another he had mentioned in relation to Sirragard.
"Well... I've encountered Mahandronis in the past... twice, in fact. Though on only one occasion was it an especially hostile situation. I was actually traveling with Alexander at the time..." This battle had been one of the main turning points in Firehawk's life, the day he had separated from Binak, his evil side. "The others, though, I don't recall ever actually hearing about them."
Firehawk seemed a little shaken by the fact that Mequidra had come so close to him, then realized what he had said in reference to Zaskrit.
"Though this Zaskrit... another one bent on destruction... this planet seems to attract those kinds of people for some reason. Actually... it seems to happen just about everywhere I've been. But anyway, as for Mahandronis, I may have encountered him, but I have no idea where he would be. It's been a while since I've been on Fyia... so I'm not even sure if he's here anymore." Firehawk shrugged, then started to wonder why exactly Mequidra would be looking for these people...

Mequidra snaked backwards, melting lower as it contemplated the new facts.
<Mahandronis is still here. This I know.>
Turning its head to look at the landscape behind it, the Dust pondered. Should it go after its only lead, or turn its attention to the far more pressing matter of Zaskrit.
<You will keep watch for these three. If you hear word of them, you will let me know; I will find you again later.>

"Sounds good, I guess." Firehawk nodded as he said this, though still wondered exactly what the being's intentions were as well as where he had come from so quickly. Just popped up almost out of nowhere... guess he noticed the ship.
Firehawk then realized he had forgotten something from his ship, his crossbow. Although on his times visiting Fyia it had never done much of anything (though it had once struck a little imp he had encountered the first time he came to Dathomir), it still kept him at ease to have a weapon that could be used at a distance. However, he decided to wait until he knew that the being was actually leaving, so he would feel at ease getting it. Kind of a funny thought, really... to be at ease while getting the thing that... damn I'm starting to get a headache from this...

Upon hearing an affirmative response to its command, Mequidra slowly melted into the ground, considering once again what to do next.
Zaskrit . . . I will find Zaskrit.

Firehawk had to admit, he felt a lot better now that Mequidra had left. That being... definitely puts me on edge. Something about him just seems... odd. I've never seen anyone quite like... him? Or should I say it? I have no idea...
Firehawk headed back into his ship and grabbed his crossbow, put it away, then stepped back outside, realizing the sun was shining brighter than he had originally thought. DAMN that's bright... I think I've nearly blinded myself with that one... He shook his head then started heading into Dathomir, moving fairly slowly because he was still trying to get used to the intense amount of light.
