He eyed Firehawk thoughtfully:
Evidently I'm not the only one who doesn't like to speak about their past...maybe I could give this guy a break...
Banana decided to try to start over afresh with Firehawk, starting with giving him his real name.
"Look, my name isn't Lucky...it's Banana. At first I thought you were a fool so I didn't tell you my name..." he explained. "But now my opinion of you has changed."
He had always tried not to place too much on first impressions, but had failed a lot. Often first impressions are wrong and totally off-base. People act differently around strangers, and why not? Banana acted different around people he didn't know too.
"Anyways...thats ok I have a couple I think I can call...hold on a second..." Banana trailed off while pulling out a cell phone from his pocket. Hopefully his friends had his back.
He dailed numbers that were imprinted in his memory and held the phone upto his ear.
"Yes, hello Zemme. Your friend Banana here...I need some help with something in Dathomir, are you free?...yes....no...yes, you know that...ok cya."
More numbers from memory followed, as did a conversation similar to the last one. After Banana hung up, he walked back over to Firehawk. "Ok I have one friend on the way. The other might come...he's not sure yet. Anyways we'll meet them at the house, so let's go."
One hour later, after hard walking over uneven sand and the occasional path, Banana and Firehawk finally reached the house.
This house displayed how wealthy Joe Hud was. A huge circular fence surrounded the house and its massive yard. The yard consisted of a pool containg clear blue water, the greenest grass he had ever seen, and a back patio big enough to fit a family renunion in.
There were some hints that the money Hud got was dirty; the occasional guard could be seen strolling around, gun in hand. And this house was in the middle of the desert for heavens sake.
"Well," Banan said, turning to Firehawk. "I guess we'll wait for them here. I have a feeling things are going to get pretty interesting in a little while..."
