((...panda bisquit...first of all tira would NOT end up in the same place...second of all..rayan is INSIDE A BUILDING!))
When Kurai smashed into her, it caused Tira to drop her glass towards the floor. She swiftly caught the glass before it smashed to the floor. Her other hand had moved to the wire hanging at her belt and had lashed it out towards Kurai. She noticed that it was Kurai a split second before her wire would have made contact with his face. Tira's speed paid off again. With a fast tug, her wire stopped and rewound onto her roll of wire. Hooking it back onto her belt, Tira glared at Kurai with all her fury.
How DARE he disrupt me!
"You are lucky I did not take your life today."
Tira's cool voice dripped with malice. Yes, she recognized this Kurai. She always remembered everybody that she met. But that did not mean he was on good terms with her. At best, they were neutral...meaning that she would not kill him yet. But now that he had foolishly crashed into her, that neutrality now leaned more towards the enemy side. Glaring, she advanced towards Kurai with the look that she had whenever she was on one of her hunts.
Tira then noticed a small astral form floating through the ceiling. It seemed to be Kurai's daughter...or at least his deceased daughter. She sent the same icy glare in Mint's direction. Then she turned back towards Kurai.
"..."
She was going to say something to Kurai, but was disgusted. She had better things to do. Still holding her glass, she walked back to the bar and refilled the glass. She sipped it slowly, ignoring Kurai's presence.

(( ^^;; i dunt tend to read carfully.. especaiily 5 pages... (pictures a big F on his rp paper and Tira's handwriting. See me after school) ))
Kurai stood up and dusted himself off. "uhh Mint this woman i met is from Ria." He said quite softly afraid of Tira's short temper. "She was suppose to help kill Aoshi but i think she backed out or something..." Mint nodded a bit and then looked around. "I belive we are in Dathomir now Dad..." Mint said turning herself about. "we still better move even though. we have a house to find... buy some food.. and.... DAD WHAT ARE YOU DOING!??!" She yelled at her father who just sat down a seat from Tira ordering some achohol.
Mint then proceeded to materialize a classical Anime Hammer and whapped Kurai on the head with it. A large wham (Whoa that was descriptive >.<) and Kurai fell with his head clunk onto the counter. "Come on lets go Dad..." And she dragged his leg, Or attempted to.. her body was too weak to carry somone as big as Kurai so as she proceeded to drag him everyone stared at Mint. Mint felt embarresed and then just decided to drop her fathers feet and just cross her arms. (( gtg Wushu X.x))

James sat sleeping in the cockpit of his space-interceptor, the ship travelling at many times faster than the speed of light. He wasn't really travelling anywhere...just somewhere. James was suddenly woken by a soft beeping in his ear. He immediately pulled the hyperdrive lever towards him to slow the drives down. Space faded back into view and a small planet could be seen in the corner of the cockpit. *Yawn* "Oh man...looks like I have a message." James peered down at his Nav console, there was a small blip flashing in the corner. He punched some keys on his touchpad and brought up the message. - [glow=orange,2,300]Clan Thyconis: Freelance establishment. Mercenaries, fighter pilots, and skilled fighters wanted. Clan members receive the benefit of pay upon the completion of each mission assigned to the clan. Contact clan leader Rayan Stiger in Dathomir City or via the Internet for details on job opportunity.
--Rayan Stiger, clan founder 3/13/2536[/glow]
The message glowed a dull orange as he read. Opportunity suddenly knocked on his door. "Job, eh?" James tugged at his soul patch as he contemplated the feasibility of the whole situation. He didn't have anything to lose...or do for that matter. "Why not." He punched a few more keys and brought up a hyperspace route map, then selected a path to Fyia. His ship's computer made the necessary adjustments to the program and the drives hummed on. "Wake me when I'm there..."
Later that day, James stepped out of his ship, which was parked in a mountain alcove far outside of town. He grabbed his gear out of the cargo bay and plopped it on the ground. He reached into the glove-compartement and pulled out his vintage Khukuri knife and clipped it to his belt on the left. After closing down the ship and grabbing his gear James set out for the long trek into town.

Boku still standing outside looked at each of the other apparent members of this clan. Boku still did not know why he joined just know, but the satifation of being paid for killing people and saving others lives, satified his thoughts, but he did still have questions for Ryan that he needed answers to. So feeling courious and bored for that matter he headed inside after Ryan.
He walked up the stairs and knocked on his door, at the same time opening it a crack and poking his head in.
[glow=red,2,300]"Hey uh, Ryan dude can i ask you a few questions about this whole clan thing?"[/glow]
Boku moved the rest of his body into the room and looked towards Ryan. He wanted to know what Ryan wanted him to do for the clan, what rank he was going to have, if any, and most of all he wanted an assignment to in turn lead to a pay check. The room was of moderate size with plain walls and a nice comfy looking bed pushed up against the wall, with ofcorce had Ryan laying in it.
[glow=red,2,300]"Like what am i gonna do in this clan, and uh what rank am i to be, and lastly, when is our first mission?"[/glow]
Boku noticed that Ryan probably wanted to be alone and sleep, thus making Boku feel stupid and guilty for jsut walkin in like this and bombarding Ryan with questions. Boku looked at his feet feeling utter most guilty and stupid .
[glow=red,2,300]"Sorry sir I'll uh, leave you to your sleeping if you want me too. Just answer when you feel like it, or if you don't wana don't answer at all, I aint gonna care."[/glow]
With that Boku began walking to the heavy wooden door and once again opened it to leave.
((sorry this post sucks hope it is ok to Rp to))

(arg...I already typed this up...okay I'll throw you in there somewhere.)
Rayan rubbed his smarting forehead and looked at Adriel. "What are you doing here, anyways?" he asked. "You left and went off without letting anyone know. Ah, well...whatever. Hey, listen, Karunii here is tired. So am I...so I'm gonna let him use one of the rooms here. Make sure nothing happens to him." Adriel smiled and nodded in reply. "Thanks. I knew I could count on you." Rayan walked past Adriel towards Karunii's room, still leading the way for Karunii.
They reached the room, and Rayan opened the door and told Karunii that he could sleep there for the night. Karunii thanked him sincerely, and then promptly lay on the bed and shut his eyes. A soft smile graced his lips as he quickly dozed off. Rayan smiled to himself as he left the room and shut the door.
Cute kid. Wonder how he got here, though...
Rayan left Karunii to sleep in his own chamber and promptly headed back to his hotel room. He said "good night" to Adriel as he walked past, who wished him a good evening and peaceful slumber. Rayan left him behind, and returned to his hotel room. When he reached his room, Rayan felt too tired to do anything more than to crawl in bed. He was about to turn out the light when Boku entered his room.
Rayan wasn't in the mood to be answering all these questions. But he wasn't about to blow Boku off. He decided to answer as best as he could.
"What you're going to do is mostly what everyone else will be doing, too- helping us fight against whoever we're hired to fight. As for your position, that depends upon my observations of your skills in battle. However, since you were there at Puralgatha during the Puralgatha sabotaging, I am quite certain that you have great fighting ability- more than me, I'm certain. As for your last question, I wish I knew...our first mission will be whatever we're hired to do, whenever we get an offer. I really don't know when that will be. Could be a day, could be a year...I'll be sure to check my sources to see if we got hired first thing tomorrow. If it makes you feel any better, I hate this waiting just as much as you do, maybe more. But if we're lucky, we'll have a job tomorrow. Now if you'll please excuse me, Boku ol' buddy, but I'm completely tired out. I've had one helluva long day. I need rest." Rayan smiled at Boku slightly before saying a final, "See you tomorrow."
When Boku left, Rayan turned off the light. After a few moments, he became quite comfortable, and shut his eyes.
Oh SHEEZ, what a long day this was...
Rayan's mind began to drift, as it always did at night before sleep took him captive. His day had been a long one indeed. Rayan had woken up in the People's House of Puralgatha; when that was, he wasn't quite sure. Rayan didn't even know how many days had passed since the terrorist sabotaging of the city had taken place, whether it was hours, days, weeks, or even months... He thought about his call to come before the Council of Zetfa's government. That, in the course of several hours, changed from a simple hearing and telling of heroic deeds to Rayan finding himself forced into a conflict that, as far as he considered it, did not regard him.
Rayan hated that man, the man who had trapped him into such an unpleasant oath! He wished for him to sufficate overnight, or that an assassin would swiftly come upon him to end his life. It wasn't fair for Rayan to be forced into the problems of people he neither knew nor cared about, as reward for unintentionally saving the Floating City. Rayan despised also the war he would be taking part of; he cared not for the wars of this world, or what became of them. What concern did they hold for him? None at all. Why should he suffer for doing good? Because good always suffered; he saw that now. Good people were always the ones to suffer throughout history. Those who opposed the ancient Third Reich in the 20th century had suffered countless deaths. Racial and religious prejidice had ruined the lives of millions in less than a mere hundred years. In the late 21st century, when the leaders of the Earth's strongest countries brewed over the decision to occupy other worlds, violence quickly broke out over much of the world; good people had suffered then, too. Back on Rayan's home system, his country was scorged in vile destruction at the hands of the most evil man he had ever seen. Innocent lives had been destroyed by that demonic android, Renim, only months past. Rayan had suffered an uncurable wound when he confronted Renim's creator, a wound which, to his knowledge, would mar him the rest of his days. And after all the suffering throughout history, in times of war and in times of peace, those who served the will of good still suffered. They would suffer during Fyia's upcoming war, and they would suffer after it.
Rayan began to wonder what the purpose and meaning of all this suffering meant. What purpose could it possibly hold? Nothing but death and destruction and the suffering of the good. Rayan wanted no part in a meaningless war. If given the choice, he would travel to a planet as far away from Fyia as possible, if that would allow him to avoid partaking in its conflict. But he was not sure that he would be able to leave his friends. Adriel, whom he had only met just after his appearance to the council, was already an endearing friend to him, for he was kind and caring; indeed, saved Rayan from certain destruction! And although they had infuriated him earlier, Rayan could not leave his friends Mattus and Gai so readily. Not after all they had done for him. Struck by that thought, Rayan began to feel bogged in his mind regarding them. He had been too harsh with them earlier. True, they had provoked him, but they did nothing worthy of such a temper. Rayan told himself that he would have to go to them the next day to beg their forgiveness; yes, he must do that, he decided. Rayan would strive to hold his feelings back from now on- he could not allow himself to such an unchecked fury towards the few that cared about him.
His mind dwelled upon many subjects for extended time, until at last he was overcome by weariness, and plunged into an empty dream realm at last, only to be awakened at the coming of the new morning's light...

Walking back into the hotel, Gai walked up the stairs. He felt for some reason that he should stay close to Rayan at all times for the time being, even after his friend had blown up on him. So, he walked up the stairs and when he finally got to his friends room he took on his shadow form and sat there. He had nothing to do but think and he had alot to think about
Why am I even here? This war has nothing to do with me. Is it because I like to kill or because a good friend of mine was in need and requested help? All I've ever seen out of fighting as good at it as I may be is pain and sorrow from both sides. The winning and the losing. I see no reason for it and yet without it, evil would over run the world and nothing good or beatiful would be left. It's people like Rayan, Boku, Matt, Aran, Tira...and...and me that can make this world a safer place for those who aren't capable of defending themselves. he thought to himself as he moved from one place to another along the wall. Even though his thoughts were elsewhere, his eyes andears were always alert. Not a single movement or noise went on without him noticing and fileing it unconciously in his brain.
It doesn't make any sense either, why would Rayan even get himself into a situation where he would have to get involved in someone elses problems. That is against his nature. He keeps to himslef. I mean, after all the years I've known him, he doesn't even open up that much to me. And Matt. . .what I did to him today was wrong. He's a good man with a good heart. I'm lucky to fight alongside someone with so much heart and courage. I need to tell him I'm sorry tomorrow. I just wish Shimmer was here to help me get through all this crap. he thought to himself as he reappeared next to Rayan's door. and walked back down stairs to get something to eat. After he was done eating he walked into the center of the room and looked around. It would be the perfect place to practice his shadow abilities
At first he would concentrate on a small object and invelope it in shadow. Then he would focus his energy on the object and cause the shadow to crush the object into nothing. After an hour or two, he could do this without even thinking about. He then moved on to bigger things like a table. This was a little more challengeing but even after practicing for two hours he could crush it to oblivion without a thought. He was enjoying himslef greatly and very proud of his progress so far. He knew that in the comming battle, powers like this would be very helpful and that if he could focus his energy onto many things, he could survive much easier. His ain concern was, would this work against a bulit but the only way he could find out was to wait for their first mission and wait to be shot at to try. And so as the night went on, he continued to practice his abiloty to to destroy objects with his shadow powers.
