Tari stared slightly laughing, her glossy lips, peeling over her teeth into a smile. Hey eyes glittered with enthusiamsm once more. She looked Rayan in the eyes and began laughing some more.
"Wow, I'm pretty? Well, if thats what you think." Tari smiled brightly
As she smiled the wind picked back and the stars dazzled with their spell-bounding beauty once more. The continued their dance over Tari's green eyes as she laughed once more as Rayan spilled everything. Her hair lifted easily off her shoulders and blew soflty around her neck.
"A girlfriend, huh? You're lucky, you must lover and she must be beautiful." Tari commented to Rayan, feeling once more Rejected, but she kept her good spirits about her.

Rayan paused, fully expecting Tari to get EXTREMELY ANGRY at him for telling her that he already had another... ......She's...not....mad? I don't get it...She makes just as much sense as......Kami...does...urk...Rayan saw that she was happy again. ...I guess I may have done something right...swell! he thought. Rayan was just about ready to join back into some pleasant conversation, when Tari commented... "A girlfriend, huh? You must love her and she must be beautiful." Rayan's heart stopped. Suddenly, a deep grief flushed forth from the crevace of his heart as he heard Tari mention her name. He tried to hide his emotions, but as he spoke, Rayan was certain that Tari could sense his feelings. "......Love her......yes, I did...once..." Rayan began to say. "...She owned my very soul...she was gorgeous...I...can't even begin to explain what she means to me..." Rayan felt a deep, painful pounding in his chest. He felt himself longing for the past...the past when Kami Anya was all his, and not even death could separate them... "......I have no idea where she is now. We...separated a ways back, after I arrived here on Fyia. I hardly even remember why. All I know is that she had some...business...to do. I don't know if she'll ever return to me." Rayan's eyes were blurry now, and his cheeks wet with the salty water of his bright eyes. Rayan cleaned out his eyes, but found it difficult to regain composure. "...Hey...are you...okay?" Rayan asked, noticing that Tari had stopped laughing and went back to studying the stars. "There isn't something...wrong...is there? If there is...please, let me help you...any way I can. Though I just met you, I..." Rayan trailed off, trying to find the right words to say, but they refused to come to him. Instead, he said the only thing that was on his mind. "I...I think I might...might..." Rayan turned away, blushing, too embarressed and ashamed to spit the words out. "......No......I can't...love...her...I can't just give up on Kami..." Rayan whispered to himself. "......That...wouldn't be...right...I can't...do...that..."

Tari listened intently as Rayan spoke, his words only bringing back memories of the love she lost. She too had been in love, but their lasting relationship was cut short, tearing him away from Tari, by death.
Tari held back tears as she thought of her love. She hadn't loved anybody like him and nobody could make her feel the way he did. His name was Diego, a military man, after all they met in the same base.
Tari's eyes turned glassy, as tears filled within them. Her hair blew on the side of her face, sometimes getting entangled within her descrete tears.
She heard Rayan's words, "I...I think I might..", but she was out of words to ask him exactly what he meant. Thinking of the feeling of love, wich Tari hadn't expierenced in awhile, made her spine tingle as she thought of Diego.
"I too loved somebody, but he is no longer alive." A tear rolled heavily down her cheek as she turned to face Rayan, leaving a wet trail behind.

Rayan looked up and saw the tears in her eyes. He realised that she too had been separated from the one she loved...
Oh, what a cruel, twisted world this is. What purpose can it possibly serve?! Everything has lost meaning...or perhaps it never had any meaning to begin with...
Rayan walked over to Tari and gently stroked her cheek, wiping the tears off with the soft brush of his hand. His own eyes were gushing forth like a fountain, as Rayan was unable to hold them back any longer.
"I know...at least in part...how you must feel for him, Tari. It...grieves me deeply that such a beautiful girl as yourself must bear such a loss. I...wish there was something I could do...to help ease your pain...and...to ease mine. I wish...I could restore him to you...but..."
Rayan paused for a moment to clear his vision, and looked deeply into Tari's eyes. "...but I know it is foolishness for me to speak of such things. Doing so would only make his memory more painful for you..."
Rayan gently put his arms around her and hugged her softly. The remaining tears in his eyes splashed down onto her shoulder, as her wetted hair blew freely in his face.

((I know where none of you live! So Ha, beat that!lol))
Tari closed her eyes, no longer wishing to expose her glassy with tears, green eyes. She didn't pull away from Rayan, she didn't want to leave. Tears continued to squeeze through her closed eyes, splashing upon her cheeks.
The breeze continued tossing her hair and gently caressing her face. The moon shone brightly on the two, like a spotlight of the heavens. The grass swayed beneath their feet, like a sea.
Tari lifted her head and opened her eyes, exposing her green eyes, but now there was a tint of blue to them. Her glossy lips matched that of glassy eyes. Strands of her blonde hair got stuck within the wet trails of her tears. A tear swelled in her eyes, slowly cascading down the side of her face.
She couldn't say anything the words strayed from her mouth.
((Sorry if it's bad, I g2g))

Rayan's eyes slowly began to dry, as no more tears poured forth from his eyes. But he noticed that Tari was still grieving...The look in her eyes pierced his heart and dissolved it away...
He unwrapped his arms from her body and instead clasped his hands over hers. They were beautiful...light, delicate, and feminine...Rayan noticed that her nails were in 'perfect order', as if she had forged them or some other such foolishness. Gazing deeply into her eyes, he uttered the words he knew that must be said...though they felt like poison to him.
"Tari...I...know that you feel...alone...So do I. I promise you...I'll always be there for you, should you ever need me, whatever the reason. I'm can't...decide...our future now...not yet. I can't promise you that a relationship between us would mend your wounds...in fact, that might only make it hurt you more...and that I cannot do. I...could never stand...seeing you in pain..."
Rayan's throat went dry, and he was swallowing hard. His body shook a bit, as if from cold, and his legs felt unsteady. Geez...I'm such a wreck... Rayan thought, disdaining his own inablility to control his emotions.
"...Tari...I...can't leave...her...with good conscience, just because I don't know what has happened to her. I've got to keep looking. I'm certain you would do the same in my position..." Rayan said, swallowing his words hard. "...But should I fail to find her...I'll be here for you. I promise, upon my honor...upon my soul."

A smile cracked upon Tari's face, lightening their dull moment. She shook her head and pulled away from Rayan.
"I was just looking to be friends. I loved Diego, I don't think I could ever love somebody else the way I loved him. But who knows what's to happen." Tari's slightly blue eyes faded to their normally fierce green.
Her hair continued its freedom of blowing in the wind. The moon continued beating down upon them, its pale light, just enough for them to see eachother through.
The air was light, it felt as if you could float over the grass. Turning away in what seemed to be a hurry, Tari spoke once more,"I hope you find her. If you don't you might never find that love again, so take advantage it."
One foot slid forward, leading the other. She took about ten paces then slowly resided to stop, her head down, staring blankly at the ground.

Rayan's heart stopped. Apparently, Tari wasn't as moved by him as he thought...
"Oh, uh...yeah, I'll be sure to keep looking." A cheesy smile was fixed upon Rayan's face, as he tried to conceal his embarressment. He was still sweatdropping, and he felt like he was standing upon a collapsing bridge.
But all the same, even though Rayan had been turned down, he figured that now was a wonderful time to reject his past emotions of self-pity and hopelessness...
Heck, if Tari can be this happy even after her boyfriend's death, I might as well screw my problems...If I'm going to suffer injustices, I'm at least going to have some fun!
Rayan happily skipped over to Tari, his face beaming with joy instead of mellow sadness. His emotions had changed quite abruptly, almost randomly, but there was reason behind it......
"Well, I suppose friendship is good enough. Half-way is better than nowhere!" Rayan laughed at himself, kept his spirits high. He figured that Tari considered him the strangest, oddest crack head she'd ever met, but he didn't care......He was blissfully happy, for the moment.
"Well, since we're officially close friends forever now, I'd like to ask you something" Rayan said, a joking-like tone in his voice, though he was indeed serious.
"I told you all about my life story...not that it matters to you, but...I'm going to be starting my own freelance clan to fight whatever force is behind this awful war that is so immenent. Care to join?"
Rayan looked at her dubiously, an awkward aura about him. "I know I must sound like an idiot, talking about creating world peace and all that...but then again, idiots like me have altered the fate of the world before, you know!"

Tari's joy only beamed brighter as happiness skipped over Rayan's face. Her eyes glowed brighter then their already feirce green.
Her hair settled once more on her slim shoulders. Her lips didn't spread into a smile, they stayed put, not moving. She opened her mouth to speak, but without thinking them out carefully, they came in a slur.
"Uh, I'm already involved in the war, but uh..."Tari's words seemed to fall off her tongue before she had the chance to spit them out.
[glow=pink,2,300]Well, he seems happy now.[/glow]
Her posture straightened, and slumped at once. She felt an amazing blanket of guilt consume her body whole. Her eyes dulled out, and her blonde hair fell infront of her face.
All was silent, Tari couldn't think of explantions to excuse her actions of joining the war.

"What's the matter?" Rayan said to her, noticing her silence. "Blue haired goof-ball's got your tongue? Heh heh...oh well. Since you can't tell me what your decision is, I guess I'll just waste your time by telling you about my clan anyway!"
Rayan was truly acting absurd......he hadn't been this way for a long time. HAD he ever been this way? Regardless, this was how he chose to reject his past for the time being, and thus far, it seemed to him that it was working.
"As I said before, the Puralgatha Council is a bunch of fag...I mean, they aren't nice people! They're going to make me fight for them, whether I join their military or not!
"Well, I decided that trying to fight a war alone would be pretty stupid...unless the enemy is dumber than I am! So, I have decided to establish my own freelance clan to fight in the war. The way the clan will run is that I hire people to join...like, say...you. Then, once I get some loyal allies, I'll accept whatever missions Puralgatha Mission Dispatch sends my way. The clan goes and completes the mission, I get money, pay the clan members, and look for another mission. Ain't I just brilliant?"
Rayan kept his cheesy smile pasted to his face. But though it seemed fake, his grin more demonstrated his current emotions than hid them.
Jeez I'm random...No one else goes from mourning to blissful joy for absolutely no reason at all! I just hope that the men in the white suits don't catch me...

Tari opened her mouth to speak, now, this time, her words flowed smoothly from her mouth.
"I'm a Marine General, as you know. I was called up for action and for the moment I'm off duty. ONLY for the moment though. I can be called back up at anytime, right now I'm looking to just have fun." Tari announced it a long smooth tone
She raised her chin, no longer slumping. She didn't want a reason to be angry with herself. All she wanted to do was have fun. She was in a spontanious mood and at that moment she would probably do anything.
[glow=pink,2,300]C'mon enough of this stuff, lets have fun![/glow]
Tari was growing impatient, all this talk of war was dulling her spirits. She just wanted to learn more about Rayan, to further understand him.
Her eyes twinkled and she anxiously awaited for Rayan to speak.
