From the ashes a pheonix is born...

[Saya]

Bubbling, molten; the pit of the great volcano gloops and fizzles, the heat rising from its mouth in waves that scorched the skin, even form afar.

Suddenly a pool of light emerges in the center of the lava and soon a frail figure floats to the top, untouch or blemished even from the lava itself.

Saya regained conciousness, her mind full of a singular thought.
After the last battle of Oni-Aoshi, Saya could not remeber much, only knowing that when she had roused from uncounciousness, Triunis was gone, gone from Ria and from her.

She had searched all her waking hourse, searched as days, nights weeks and months had past her by and only by travliing to this world did she sence his presence once again.... but this time...

He had life within him!

The sprite pulls herself up the ridge of the volcano and soon rests on its lip, looking down its peek at the world of Fyia before her.
A new world and new dangers... and new life to meet and protect.

[Triunis]

((Methinks that this would not be the best place for Triunis and Saya to reunite - make them wander about for a bit.))

There was a slight humming noise as the air near the volcano's crater suddenly split, and a tall, white being fell onto the ground.

"Ow . . ."

Alexander stood up, cracking his neck. Suddenly, he turned and saw the phoenix sprite. He walked over to her and looked down at her, an expression of curiosity on his face.

"Who are you, then?"

[glow=blue,2,300]Be careful! Though she is a creature of life, she carries a love for a being that wishes you harm.[/glow]

Alexander half-closed one eye in confusion from this comment from his inner self, but ignored it, choosing instead to remain fixated on the sprite before him.

[Saya]

Saya looks up at the strange man and she tilts her head in curiosity.

"h-hello....?"

Her voice was meek, she herself not sure about this being before her. She was, of course new to this world and didn't know anything about it or its people.

[Triunis]

Alexander smiled. He decided that he liked this person.

"Call me Alexander. I'm not a native of this planet, and most of its inhabitants are human, unlike myself. This is Fyia, and I'd be glad to help you however I can."

He bowed deeply. One thing that Intruils were good at was bowing deeply, and it was widely accepted that they were simply hinged at the waist from birth.

[Saya]

Saya stands up from her seated position and bows back at the kindly man. At least her first incounter was not a hostil one, which relived her. She was too weakend from her planetary travels to even think of engaging in combat.

""My name is Saya, thank you for your kindess..."

He was not native either? So assumingly a lot of people did indeed travel to this Fyia... and maybe Triunis...?

Her confidence grew and she relaxes, this was definatly the place he had come to, at least she didn't need to worry about that!

She opens up her transparent wings and flutters closer and small smile on her patterend face.
" So do many visitors congrigate to this world? People of all kinds and species??"

She didn't want to ask this stranger out right, just in case...

[Triunis]

Alexander could sense that something was being kept from him, something important, but at this point he was too interested to care very much.

"Certainly. I have seen sorceresses, imps, giant insects, basically whatever you could hope to see."

Or not to see, he thought, considering what the imp and the sorceress had been like. He wondered how much of the forest was left. He shook himself, and decided that it was time to start digging into this person's psyche.

"Why do you ask?"

[Saya]

"I am look for someone important....why do you ask? Could you assist me??"

Her face lit up, her eyes peering at him hopefully. This was indeed a lucky incounter if he could help her, be a giud if you will, in this new world.

[Triunis]

Alexander shrugged with a smile.

"I'm doing nothing at the moment. I've no idea how to go about what I was sent here to do, so if I help you, I might find something helpful out."

The Angel-Born flapped his wings and lifted himself a few inches off the ground.

"Who are you looking for?"

[Saya]

Saya follows uit and lifts herself into the air and away from the heating volcano, her body glowing with joy, her crimson eyes dancing with happiness.

"His name is Triunis... he's not hard to find, he's is quiet ditinguishable from most people..."

[Triunis]

Alexander snapped his fingers, and his colossal sword appeared in his hand. He raised it, and pointed the tip at Saya's neck.

"You can't mean the tall lizardly fellow, can you? Please tell me otherwise . . ."

He could feel his hope and happiness fall away. Triunis. The creature he'd been sent here to kill again. It had seemed that once was not enough. Perfectly convinient for the Angel-Born, since he had not known Triunis was on Fyia. He grimaced as he spoke.

"If you are a friend of that . . . abomination, I fear that I can be of no help to you. I was sent here to finish what I could not before regarding him, and I've no intention of backing away from my orders."

[Saya]

All of Saya's hopefullness shattered to fragments as the blade tip was inches from her neck and all confidence in this new world was ruined as well. So much for trusting this person....

Her eyes widen with fear at his words and threat and she floated stock still in the air, forgetting all motor functions until she snapped to her sences.

Her mind went into a whir of thought.

This angel-born wan'ted to harm triunis, calling him an obomination as if he were a wicked creature. This couldn't be, for the triunis she had know was so kind, so affectionate towards her and he certainly was a good soul... he had fought and defeated Oni-Aoshi...
H ehad risked his life to save and protecte her....

"Please... He is such a dear friend... we...I...
her voice was in a frightened stutter and the last thing she wanted was to engage in combat with this celestrial being. It was against her nature and it woud pain her so much to halm such a creature...
Then it dawned on her and her heart ached with saddness. Did this man mean to kill Triunis...?!

No... she could not let that happen!

.......... I am so very sorry for this....
she whimpers and quickly throws up a flaming barrier at Alexander, knocking the blade away and sending the angel born back with a small amount of force.

[Triunis]

Alexander was knocked backwrds by the blast. The sword disappeared, and a shimmering barrier came up around him. He had a pained expression on his face.

"Please . . . I don't want to hurt you. I don't intend to hurt you. Just allow me to explain myself."

He landed gracefully and looked helplessly at Saya.

"When Triunis was a king, he did . . . some bad things. He made bad decisions. So bad that six people - myself included - tried to kill him. I was sent on orders, everyone else did it of their own free will. When we discovered that we had failed, I was dispatched to finish by myself."

He sank backwards.

"I can't say whether he has changed. All I know is that my orders have not. And more than just myself could suffer if I do not do as I am told."

[Kruck]

Kruck gazed around him, very bored. There was nothing to do on this god-forsaken day. Suddenly, he saw a little smoke out in a feild. He started to walk to the spot; he smirked when he saw it aperantly was a guy and a gurl.

dang.....they must have one serious connection!!

Chuckiling to himself, he suddenly stopped. the girl seemed eerily familiar. though he was not sure it was good-familiar or bad-familiar.

Damn.....I just hope she's not a enemy.....i've got enough of those around already.

He walked up to the two of them. "Why hello there.....is there anything the matter?" his smirk was quite evident as he glanced from one to the other; however it was definitly pretty hollow.

[Saya]

(lol kruck, you must be an idiot not to reckognise saya ^^

Saya sighed sadly and fluttered backwards, clutching herself in deep sorrow. FOr no she had no choice but to protect Triunis against even more foes...

She knew his past, she saw it just as clearly as the ghosts that spectered by even as they spoke, a haunting gift thatthe pheonix sprite had, one that let her see many wonders but also many many terrors.

"I know... his past, the war on his home world... but you see, he has changed he has learnt from his mistakes..."

This angel-born had ben given stricked orders and she didn't know how brutal his seniors were but even so, didn't he have free choice on how to live his life? OR who to not kill? It was clearly obvious that he did not truley want to hunt triunis down or kill him but...

" History is to be learnt from, not repeated. Triunis has shown redemption and responisilty for his crimes in the actions he shown now. He has defeated a great evil and SAVED a whole world.... can i not sway your desition...?"
her voice was quivering with her pleades and she was surely close to tears.
She hated violence, but sometimes people didn't understand anything else.

[Triunis]

Sorrow filled Alexander's eyes. He knew that this girl was good at heart. Perhaps she was telling the truth, and perhaps Triunis had finally changed from an overbearing tyrant into a decent monarch. But it wasn't his decision.

"Saya . . . there are complications. If I don't do this, I myself am guilty of treason from at least two sources. Triunis may or may not have changed. The only way in which my orders can be bent is if Triunis gives up the throne and his weapon. And we both know he'd never do that."

He sat down and sighed. The Angelic Guard always gave him missions like this. It was always his job to mop up what the others failed at it.

"I don't want to, you can be assured. It is my job to spread peace, love, joy. And also my job to bring those who prevent it to justice. But if doing that harms others as well . . ."

He looked up at the sprite.

"I would have to see for myself whether he has really changed. If he has, I may be able to renegotiate my orders. If not . . ."

He sighed. He didn't want Saya to be angry at him. He wished there was some way he could just leave, but there wasn't.

"Anyway, I have other orders on this planet. Since he may actually have changed, I'll put my job of capturing him on hold until I complete my next mission. But once that is done, there had better be proof ."
