Pyleeda banged her hands down onto the creamy white counter.
"I said I want marshmellows." She leaned forward her face straight with one desire. The waiter, surprised, had tripped back now stood eyes wide and a stunned a gapped mouth.
"Miss,..." His mouth flapped like a fish gasping for water "I I....TOLD YOU WE DONT HAVE ANY!" The young man retorted in a naval student voice.
"I....don't .....care" With each tiny word the tall girl clothed in a two-toned brown parka and kaki colored snowpants crawled ontop of the counter ignoring the plates of briscuts and other cookies and candies. A gruff snarl curled out of the customers mouth "Give me marshmellows."
The girl prounced upward, one of her hands swiftly reached into her back pocket and lifted out an artifact with the acompeniment of her other hand, an over-sized wooden mallet flew over her head and as she neared the end of her hurdle, the weapon crashed down onto the head of the cafe' worker.
"Hmph." She returned her weapon to its place as she stepped over a person to and bent over slightly to unlatch a silver cubbard under the back counter.
"Stupid B4k4. Marshmellows were next to the hot chocolate packets."

Kurai ripped open a mashmallow packet behind The new girl and then poured them into her hot choco.
"Calm down darlin... Your going to get yourself kicked out." He said calmly. Kurai learned more and more about Patience in his life. Especially when it came to women XP .
Kurai then threw the packet behind him and it went perfectly into the trashcan. he then sat himself next to her and ordered a hot chocolate mixed with Coffee.
Kurai looked rather tired and cold. " shoulda packed more furry clothing" he said through shivers. Kurai was a tall figure compared to the people around him. a few of them looked at the two and whispered and some left the building. not wishing to encounter a large wooden mallet. a few stayed to watch.
Kurai was wearing a large brown coat that made him look puffy like a bear. his leather pants and leather clothing was underneath it.
Kurai then turned to the gurl after taking a sip from his cup.
"So whats your name darlin?"

Pyleeda after climbing back over the counter with a handful of marshmellows sat in a hard seat with a cury green iron patterned back. The marshmellows toppled out of her hand to be the first in the Hot coco. Pyleeda looked shiftily at the man sharing the table.
"Py." The teenager (yes she is just a teenager) never liked to give away information, for some reason she always had a fear that people would be able to track her or use the information against her. That is why she only gave out part of her name. (haha, just figured out, after thinking its like Pie, that it sounds like Ky. Hehe)
"Your's?"

Kurai yawned and then his eyes widened at the amount of mashmallows she placed into her hot Choco.
"Py eh?" Kurai looked closely to see if their was any relation with Ky but concluded she didnt. "Mai name is Kurai.." he then took of his sunglasses (what the snow is bright..) and revealed his tired wolf eyes. Apparently he was up all night or something. "I see your around your teens" (being over 60 (devil) Kurai can easily tell humans freashness of souls) "shouldnt your parents be takin care of you? im sure they wont be too happy to know their daughter swinging around a mallet"
Secretly Kurai was hoping they wouldnt be around so Kurai could have her soul. He was quite hungry neways and the freashness of a teenage soul seemed very appealing.

Pyleeda noticed the man's intresting eyes. She began to nonchalantly sip from the mug. Her golden eyes waved over those remaining in the little cafe' one still staring and a few looked back from their chairs at the couple. She wasn't exactly paying attention Kurai and in fact had missed his introduction. But, the scentence hung in the background and she heard it. Her hands readjusted themselves about the cozy cup and she leaned against the chair back. Her mouth was open and Pyleeda thought about if she should answer. Why not. No one ever really asked with an intrest, well atleast not an intrest that was full of a want to complain about her to them.
"Who knows."

Kurai curiously examined Py from bottom up. But carfully made sure she didnt catch him sneaking peeks at her. He didnt want her to know he was takin some interest in her.
"who knows eh?" Kurai said softly becoming a bit annoyed at the piercing stares at the people around him. "would you like to talk in the lounge? i have a feeling not much people enjoy our presence here.."
Py... this gurl is one of em tough types. Constantly trying to get the upper hand in a conversation. Well i guess ill just have to show her that im always the top dawg when it comses to talking.

Powell opened the doors and stepped in. A fierce gust followed him inside, dragging snow in with it.
"Whoa!"
Powell quickly closed the door and kicked most of the snow closer to the door. He noticed a woman walking towards the door and opened it for her, then closing it again behin her, smiling all the while. He returned to a straight face and walked over to the bar.
"Hey, gimme a stout please."
He pulled a stool out and sat down, his huge frame towering over a smaller woman seated next to him. He looked her over and then examined the tall man in leather as he stroked the roots of his long, braided goatee...

(Psst doublex this is a cafe not a bar. No b33r, maybe some wine though, not sure.)
Pyleeda looked up at Kurai, an eyebrow raised at his suggestion. Her looks hardened to a serious hard look as she stared at the melting marshmellows. "Why? There's no reason to. I came her to take a break until I find my next job."
Her hand slipped into a pocket without notice. From it she pulled an item and placed it face down on the table. On the unseen side was a golden cursive buisness card:

Kurai picked up the card and looked at it with some curiosity. he was also darting his eyes at the well bit man who just came to sit next to Py.
a handsome man indeed... Kurai thought to himself as he studied his structure.
a lively soul must rest within such a man Kurai then turned to Py and handed her card purposly facing it upwards so the other man may see it. He had a feeling he sat next to Py for a reason.
"Odd jobs eh Py?" Kurai asked. "My name is Kurai... what kind of jobs are you good at... i just might ask for some help from a gurl like you..."

Pyleeda shifted in her chair, disturbed by the newcomer. Yet she continued her conversation against her judgement. "I specilize it most technical and weapondry, and attacks of different kinds." The girl swirled the mug around. Her golden eyes watched the marshmellows bob around floating along with the curent. (uhh cant think of anything to say ^>^; hehe. Ooo I like these new poring! Music!  blob! Christmas poring!  ) |

Powell sipped at his ale as he half-heartedly listened to their conversation. The small woman placed a card on the table, the tall man picked it up to read and placed it back on the table. Powell glanced over at it.
Interesting...she must be some sort of mercenary...
He continued to sip at his ale and listen to their conversation...

Kurai spotted the mans action from the corner of his eye.

"i see... do you have any idea when your client will arrive? you see i might pay a lil higher price for your assistance." Kurai said with a smirk.
"i'm sure thats all you care about is the money right? this mission isnt personal is it?"

Powell_quickly_glanced_at_Kurai,_eyeing_him_with_interest. _Powell had never seen anyone like him before...odd clothes...tall like him, but much less broad. He was overly interesting.
I shall like to learn more about this Kurai...
