Kurai was lazily laid back on the soft warm summer dirt on the top of a mountain. He had on a content smile on his face as his black hair gently brushed by in the breeze. He had both arms thrown behind his head resting it in position. Above him was the dark stained night sky filled with sparkling stars and the city light from Centropolis shined its own stars from the vast cities. His tight leather clothing strapped about his chest and legs let off a soft white glow from the stars glowing itself.
"Sahhh.. How long has it been? Since there's been some excitement going around here?" Kurai asked himself as he shut his eyes.
"Long enough for you to get rusty..." Mint chimed in as she materialized from the air around her into the spirit form she was in. Mint is the Dead daughter of Kurai, She is forever trapped as a spirit. She has long light pink hair which goes into two ponytails and are tied back with lil clips. she docent have legs as she floats about the air and her dress continuously vanishes into the air around her.
"ho.. Mint.." Kurai said with a casual flick of his pointing finger.
"Was that a hello?" Mint asked annoyed at Kurai, "Cause that really really was the most lamest Hello i have heard Daddy..."
"ehhh whatever..." Kurai muttered.
"Dad.. Being a Devil doesn't mean you can just loaf around on a cliff just turning into a pile of blubber. Devils are busy too you know!" She said crossing her arms.
"actually.. Being a Devil does mean you can do anything you want you know..." Kurai smirked as he slowly placed his head on his forehead covering up his eyes.
"... baka.." Mint muttered before floating off to the other side of the cliff, disappointed.

What seemed to be an angel rose from the edge of the cliff. Her wings were composed of a soft light and seemed to cast a glow all around her. She was elegance, innocence, and delicate all at once. Her name was Dysis. Although she seemed like an angel with her wings, she was actually only a girl that was blessed with wings.
Her eyes gazed lovingly up at the night sky. The twinkling stars and the radiant moon gave night its mysterious touch. Dysis absolutely loved it, although she also loved how the sun warmed everything with its touch. Looking downwards, she noticed a guy lying on the grass.
"Good evening!"
She smiled warmly at him. Dysis never assumed anybody was bad because she didn't know what "bad" was. She had been protected her whole life from things that people considered bad until the day she decided to travel to new lands.

Kurai continued to stare up at the stars ignoring Mint's annoyed attitude. Once he saw a glimmer of glowing light from past the ledge of the cliff Kurai got a little curious, he tried to move his head into a position to see it but instead it came to him.
"WHOAAAAA!!!" Kurai almost leaped off the cliff as he saw the girl suddenly appear in front of him. "YOUUU... YOU!!" It was a while since Kurai seen another girl with wings ever since Sakura went missing after Oni-Aoshi controlled her "YOU HAVE BEAUTIFUL WINGS!" Kurai said excitedly. Kurai then quickly turned his face to a frown.
"Wait.. are you an angel?" Kurai asked with some caution. He was well aware of Angels and their battle potential. And he certainly did not feel the need to battle at the time.
though those wings seem to be really rare.. i could sell them for a lot.. if i cared to..
Kurai has given up Wing hunting after he became cursed with Devil powers. No longer could money satisfy his pleasure and wants. Instead Soul-hunting became a favorite of his. Finding fresh and Innocent souls. Asking this question if she was an angel would let him be well aware if he was getting a tasty young untainted soul or a poisonous Angelic soul.
Mint heard Kurai's excitement and quickly floated over toward Kurai. "Wahhhh she's so pretty!" Mint said with excitement. "Don't eat her Kurai.." Mint said breaking out of her daze to make a mean face to Kurai.

High upon the ledge of the Serine Cliff, a man sat staring into the eternal black sky. A slight easterly breeze rippled his blue clothes and hair as he silently reminisced a time long past. The bright light from the stars lit up his soft green eyes, revealing their wetness. A tear streaked down his left cheek, and he quickly wiped it away. The man clenched his teeth, and spat disgustedly.
"Stop thinking about Kami already, Rayan, you damned idiot. She's gone. Get over it. Stop whining about your past," he said to himself. Rayan stood up, kicking a pebble off of the edge. He began to walk along the cliff's edge, gazing out at the brilliant lights of the grand city of Centropolis.
"Maybe I should get back to my weapons shop," he mused, and continued walking with his hands in his pockets.

Dysis floated down next to the guy who complimented her wings and curtised to him before sitting down. She giggled a little bit at the thought of being an angel. Angels were heavenly creatures; when she was little she always grew up wanting to be an angel. Even though it was impossible, she grew up being something very close to it.
"Thank you! I'm afraid that I'm not an angel...I was only blessed with wings."
A thought struck Dysis. Perhaps she had let this man down by not being an angel. Tears almost came to her at the very thought. She didn't like letting people down because she so rarely did so. She stroked her wings for comfort. Although her hands were able to pass through, she could still feel the soft brush of feathers run over her skin.
Maybe feeling my wings will make him happier!
"You can feel my wings if you wish. I could be an angel if you wanted...although I'm not sure how real angels are."
She extended one of her light wings towards him so that he could touch it. Dysis knew that few were blessed with wings, so she wanted to share this blessing with as many people as she could. Many times Dysis had flown in order to help people such as finding a missing child. Babies would instantly quiet from the touch of her wings because they were so warm and soft. She let whoever wanted to touch her wings because she could always feel her wings and many people would never have the change to touch real wings.

Kurai excitedly reached out to touch the Girl's wings. Wings has always been a favorite of Kurai's hunting list. Wings could be sold at such a high price and so can the bones of it. Bones of Wings were grounded up to make rare medicine for some people, or even some soup in some places. Of course, this was only if the person was an angel.
Before Kurai could touch the girl's wings however Mint lowered her hand and brought it to a material state and smacked Kurai's hand. Kurai retreated his hand quickly and held it. "HEY!" KUrai complained.
Mint held up a finger next to her face. "Kurai.. your hands are dirty.. Wings are hard to take care of you know.. you should know that yourself with your own pair.. of course.. yours isn't exactly in the best shape.." Mint sighed.
KUrai frowned.
"You don't want to be an angel anyways girl.. Angels are sooo overrated. They are honestly just a bunch of rule-slaved people who have no creativity or any imagination. Always following the big man. Never thinking of themselves. pfff.." Kurai let out a breath of air up wards by overlapping his lower lip onto his upper lip. The breath of air brushed up his hair.

As Rayan walked, he noticed two figures further off. He stood for a moment, observing them. One had a feminine figure, and was quite attractive. The other was more bulky, and had long, dark hair. Then a glint caught his eye. Rayan stared, took a few steps closer, and stared again. There was no denying it- the girl had wings on her back. For some reason, she seemed to be offering the bulky figure, who was obviously a man, to touch her wings. Rayan was first seized by curiousity, then caution, then a tinge of fear.
What is she doing, offering her wings to some complete stranger like that? he thought. Then again... maybe he's not a stranger to her. How would I know? Still, it's dangerous for fairies and anybody with wings to go around showcasing them for the sightseeing pleasure of those around them. Headhunters make fortunes hunting for wings. She could get hurt if I don't do something.
Rayan moved about with a stealthy silence, not wanting to draw attention to himself. He squinted his eyes, trying to get a sharp image of the man near the girl. Then Rayan noticed the tight leather clothes he was wearing and the gleam in his eye. His face contorted in contempt, and he felt like spitting in disgust again. But he restrained and calmed himself, waiting a few moments to see if anything would happen. When the man reached out for the wings, Rayan nearly leapt forward to interfere. But the man was stopped by something. Not knowing what the cause was, nor caring particularly either, Rayan waited a moment longer. The bulky man spoke.
"You don't want to be an angel anyways girl.. Angels are sooo overrated. They are honestly just a bunch of rule-slaved people who have no creativity or any imagination. Always following the big man. Never thinking of themselves. pfff..."
Angels, huh? Going out to hunt for some pretty girl's wings again, are you? Well, not today, you bastard...
Rayan returned his hands into his pockets and calmly approached the two in a relaxed fashion. He stared at the man with serious determination. After a moment or two, Rayan greeted him uncordially.
"Hello there, Kurai. I was hoping I wouldn't have to put up with a moron like you again, but I see that fools have a way of circulating. Now I suggest to you that you leave that girl and her wings be and return to Hell where you belong." Rayan glared at him, not moving at all, and hardly breathing. His body was stiffening, wrangled by the hatred within him. Rayan restrained from showing more than an attitude of general disdain, however, keeping an almost emotionless expression.

About to protest about how angels were, Dysis realized she didn't actually know the answer. She had never been blessed by a visit from a real angel before. That must mean this person had met angels before. She pulled her wings back from shame; surely her wings cannot compare to that of an angel's.
Dysis gazed at the newcomer with a questioning look in her eyes. He seemed like some sort of noble protector by coming to her rescue like that. However, she wasn't in any trouble because she was the one that had offered to let the one named Kurai touch her wings.
"Oh~it's okay! Really! I said it was okay for him to touch them."
Disgesting over the newcomer's words once more, she realized that he had used a term that she had never heard of before.
"What is Hell? Is it as wondrous a place as where we are now? Can we go visit?"
Dysis truly was too innocent and naive because she was only taught what half the world offered; the good. However, she did know what saddness was. She could also see that this new man was clearly upset. Maybe in pain?
Maybe I should heal him?

Kurai couldn't recognize the face of the new man, but once the few words came out he smiled. "Ahh Rayan Stiger. The Dorky Salesclerk, I believe you are a good friend of Yvonne." He chuckled and then closed his eyes as he stood up.
"What might you be here for..." Kurai turned his face to centropolis and past the new girl. "Shouldn't you be sitting at your desk selling weapons?" Kurai then placed a hand on his hip. "If you haven't noticed though.. Devil's are only allowed in hell. Full Devils. I am not a full devil Rayan Stiger... instead I'm stuck here." Kurai then blinked as he heard the new girls question of hell.
"Hell.. I've seen hell once however. Hell is just filled with a bunch of people who have evil intentions in their hearts, and just can't see the right ways of life. They get confused over their own emotions and desires which leads them to their confusion in what is right and what is wrong. But. Not everyone in Hell is bad. Some are just misunderstood. Some had great ideas in their heads but society rejected them and so they end up doing wrong things." Kurai looked back up at the sky.
"yeah. Something like that. But overall. Hell isn't a good place to visit darlin."

Somehow Kurai's description of the place called "Hell" made her heart ache. Although she didn't understand the meaning of evil, she could imagine it as a place where nobody could help them. It must be a very sad place...to have nobody to help them... She wished more than anything in the world for her to visit this "Hell" and help the people there.
"I wish I could go to Hell... Everybody must be so lonely...all they need is a friend."
She looked at the moon in the sky and wondered why everybody thought the moon was lonely. It has thousands of sparkling stars to accompany it. The moon itself was just like a giant star; maybe the stars even looked up to the moon. She smiled at the thought.
She twirled a strand of her blue hair slowly around her finger as she breathed in the scenery around her. She wondered how there could be anything more beautiful. Dysis wanted to explore every single part of this land.

"I'm not a dorky salesclerk," Rayan retorted. "So, you've been rejected from Hell because you aren't a full devil, you say? Are you sure that rule doesn't just apply to you? Can't say I blame them for kicking you out. I'm sure they're suffering enough without having to put up with you." He paused for a moment, then added thoughtfully, "So they tear us down to their level by making us suffer your presence. How convenient."
Rayan continued staring at Kurai with an empty expression on his face. His eyes, however, were flinty, and his fingers twitched in his pockets. "And for your information, I do more than just sit at my desk all day. However, that reminds me. I believe you owe me a certain firearm you stole from me once. I'll be accepting it back from you now." Rayan's voice had an edge of challenge in it. He was waiting for Kurai to make a false move, but until that time he planned on playing it cool.

Kurai let out a groan. "Still worrying about that Gun of yours eh? well ill tell you where it is then.." Kurai then shrugged and placed his hands on his hips. "You can find it with the ruins of the sector 3 space station crash site. I'M sure you can piece those together huh? since you don't just sit around on your ass all day." Kurai chuckled.
"Well yeah yeah hell may of not want me there but thats cause I'm human too and theres some weird unwritten law of the lord saying i can't go to hell as a human until i die. " Kurai chuckled. "Who knows about these weird things in life." Kurai then sighed. "Whatever.. i dunno why I'm even talking to you all. This is my time of relaxing.." Kurai then flopped himself back down on the ground laying on the warm dirt.
Mint slowly made her way to the new girl and whispered into her ear. "Trust me.. I don't think you would want to go to hell.."

((puff...having such a hard time wit dysis))
Hearing the conversation, Dysis perked up. Apparently something was missing, perhaps she could help these two gentlemen find whatever it was.
"I could go find it for you! I've found lots of stuff before!"
Her attention was suddenly diverted to the little pink-haired girl. The little girl told her that she wouldn't want to visit Hell, but she didn't understand why. It was because so many people didn't want to go see it that made the place seem sad.
The ocean seemed like a very dark place with its stormy waters that hid anything under its surface. When Dysis went swimming in the ocean for the first time, she was amazed by all the creatures living there. Beautiful creatures with a woman's body and a fish's tail joined her in her swim, singing lovely songs to her; they were mermaids if she remembered right. Hell was probably just like the ocean.
"No, I really do wish I could visit Hell... I'm sure it's a wonderful place!"

Rayan's eyes flared. "You broke it?" he repeated, and then again demandingly, "You broke it? It's bad enough you have to steal from me, but then you go off and break something of value, without offering to reimburse me. You're disgusting, Kurai. I ought to blast that smirk right off your face."
When Kurai flopped to the ground, Rayan glared at him hatefully a few moments more, then turned towards the girl. "I suggest you put your wings away, unless you want him stealing those, too. And I doubt you'd want to visit Hell. Even if you wanted to help the people down there, I don't think you could do much about it." Rayan kicked another pebble, then shuffled his feet and added, gesturing in Kurai's direction with his thumb, "Besides, Kurai's about all the Hell I can take."

Dysis pouted when she heard the increasing frustration growing in Rayan's voice. This Kurai had not done anything to her yet, and even though she wanted to make Rayan happier by putting away her wings...she wasn't sure what she meant. She couldn't make them disappear like fairies could.
The only thing closest to having her wings disappear was when they light blended with the light of the sun, making her wings seem like they weren't there. Since her wings were able to pass through any object, she never had any problems with bumping them into anybody.
"I don't understand? I can't make my wings go away?"
She thought about what Rayan said about Hell, but still her opinion of it wouldn't change.
"When nobody tries to help, there will never be any hope. But as long as somebody tries, even just a little bit, at least one person might feel better down there...and one person is enough to make it count. Even if I did want to help everybody."
