Seeing Mitsuko walk away from someone, Gai thought that he should go see who it was.
When he got out into the hall he saw a women standing there. "Hey, what'd you do to the cheif. He's the commander of the New Wave Army and deserves some respect. And I'm second in command around here so when I address you I expect you to stand at attention. Do you understand me?" he said as he looked the women in the eyes.
God, I hate having to be harsh to women, but when they disrespect the boss I really have no choice. It's my job. he thought to himself.

A familiar face, wrapped Tari's attention. She looked into the lightly tinted window on the door. Her eyes easily made out the face and hastily, yet fashionably Tari entered the building.
A blanket of tension seemed to be engulfing the atmosphere. She walked to Mitsuko's side, she had seen him first. She stopped sharply, then she raised her chin and looked at Gai. Tari could sense the he was tense, but she smiled without shame.
"Whats going on?" Tari question Mitsuko
She looked ravashing <-((I love that word)) in her uniform, she stood tall and acted like she owned the world. Tari had a high demand about her, she was never caught off guard and blantly expected everyone to perform to their best at all times; no matter the circumstances.
Her head drifted downward, staring lazily at the white tiled floor; she much preferred the thick green grass under her feet.
Jazz was standing like a gentlemen outside, waiting patiently. Even his saddle had a few more honorerary medals attacthed.

Walking up to the women he looked her up and down. "Hmmm, you seem to be very well brought up. How would you ike to become a general around here? We could use someone lke you around here. The only catch is that you can't talk to the commander of the New Wave Army like that anymore." he said as he bowed to the women.
When he looked back up he introduced himself, "Oh i'm Gai. Second in command around here and the best staff user around this area. Whats your name? he said with a smile on his face.

Tari smiled slightly, lips crooked on her face.
"I'm Tari. Nobody who must submit to you and thats all you need to know." Tari barked, a teasing way about her
She shook her head and now a full smile played across her lip. Her flowing blonde hair glinted in the light, it was done up neatly and very tight in a bun.
When she moved, so did her uniform; it was as if they were moving in unison. Her medals tapped lightly against as she took a step to further examine the quarters she was in. She still had a high definition look about her, she was very content.

With a great rage Gai tried to hold himself back but couldn't." Thats it. If I am to gain your respect then I challenge you to a duel. If I win you give me the respect that I rightfully deserve. I didn't climb through the ranks to be insulted by the likes of you.Now do you accept my challenge" he said as he stood his ground.
Why oh why had he said anything. This was a women and he had just challenged her to a fight. He must be insane or something. That was something that he would never normally do.

Now Tari was pissed. Her eyes had a flicker of fire about them and her whole face became serious.
"What did they lose a sense of humor in the military since I've been gone?" Tari said defiantly taking a step forward, looking Gai in the eye
This was no way in hell a way for to gain her respect. If he wanted her respect at all he would've been a man and sucked it up.
Once again Tari smiled, feeling sympathy for the young boy's lack of judgement.
"Tell me son, what part of the military are you in? Army, Navy....?"Tari questioned, her face getting closer to Gai's in a somewhat threatening way.
She was in no mood to mess around, if she were to "duel" it'd be to the death. Her eyes grew suspicious and body language became stronger.
Gosh, and he wants my respect? Well, he isn't ever gonna get any from me with a mouth like that.

"Ma'am. Listen to me. I'm part of the Marines and have had a very bad day. I'm sorry for that out burst a moment ago. Please accept my appoliges. I have no intention of fightin a women and hope that you will forgive me. And you are right. THat mouth of mine is never gonna get your respect." he said as he bowed to her.

Tari smiled, "Nice to have a fellow Marine. Of course you don't see very many woman marines."
She backed away giving the boy (she refers to most guys as boy) space to breathe. Her glossy black boots glistened in the floresent light. The white tile beneath them good contrast.
You could see by the change in her eyes that she was in a more calming mood, slowly relaxing. She looked aroound, glossy lips slightly pursed at she thought.
"So are you a grunt?" Tari addressed Gai while taking a quick glance out the window
Jazz was still on good behaviour, several other military personell were standing at his side, patting his silky coat.

Watching every movement that the women made, Gai began to relax but not enough to let his gaurd completely down. He then bowed to her a gain, showing his gratatude for her kindness, and patients with him after his outburst.
"Tari, if you don't mind me addressing you by your name, you seem a bite tense. No, I'm no longer a grutnand haven't been for a while. You see, there's something strange about me. I make the perfect spy because of my telepathic powers and yet fight out in open space like a soilder. So really I have no ranking besides commanding 7 or 8 regiments around this place." he said as he too looked out the window with aquick glance. "Are youu excpecting someone, if I may so bold to ask?" he asked her.

Tari listened intently as Gai spoke. She devoted her full attention to him, making sure she understood everything he said.
"Well, I'm most defintely a grunt. I hate it when people run from fights." Tari commented
Once more she glanced out the window, then slowly turned to Gai. There was a spark of mischeif about her; she was always complicated to read.
"No, my boy is already out there. I'm the only one that has command over him." Tari informed, not telling them she was talking about Jazz.

Mitsuko just stood there and watched as the two argued. Once they had finnished, he began to speak.
"Um Gai. She is a general. (just look in the sign up for the war thread.) And anyone can talk to me however they want to." He said.
"I don't know what you all want to do, but instead of jusyt standing here, why don't we do something. Like do some training or something. I don't care waht we do though." Mitsuko suggested.

((Bleh, I wanna be a general))
Tari solemnly looked to Mitsuko, a pleased look in her eye. She wouldn't mind training, but it wsan't her who need to train, it was Jazz. She took a step away and nodded her head.
"Sounds good to me." Tari acknowledged
She paced over, steadily to the double doors and shoved them open. She stood holding one door, while looking back to Gai and Mitsuko.
"Are you up for some fun?" she questioned

"So what kind of fun did you have in mind?"he asked her as he got to the doors and stood next to her while they waited for Mitsuko to come after them.
