"Hm.. An unseen force?" she said thoughtfully, delicately putting a bit more cotton candy. Glad to see someone else shared her love for cotton candy, Chii threw Vahn another packet, smiling.
Today has been pretty good. I got to sleep in, I finished wrapping all my Christmas presents, I helped stop an evil peddler from overpricing his cotton candy and forcing the penniless children to pay 75 cents per packet, and then found Truinis. The morning only has already been productive enough to last the whole entire day. " she thought to herself, beaming.
"Bog leech? Hm.. I've never tried any." she said, not quite sure if she wanted to or not.

"When you're reptillian and live on a planet that's one big swamp, you get used to whatever happens to be available. Bog leeches happen to be big enough to feed many and have a very good consistancy and texture. You just have to ignore the fact that they feed off of your species' blood."
Triunis ate the last of his cotten candy and stood up again. He then looked down at himself and grimaced.
"I arrive with a broken leg and tattered robes, and which one botheres me the most?"
He brushed the dust off his royal outfit, and saw that there were rips and tears all over it. He then turned to Chii.
"This won't do. I need to get these fixed up. And in any case, I'm going to have to walk on this leg if it's to get any better. I say we have a little walk around this city and find a weaver. Then I will need some form of transportation . . ."

Chii's eyes widened as she heard Truinis talk about the bog leeech, wincing as he mentioned what they lived on. I sincerely hope I never have to encounted one of those. Though, they wouldn't be dangerous to me, or would they? she shrugged mentally, and looked back as Truinis.
"Sounds delicious," she said, giggling. "A weaver? Hm.. I haven't seen a weaver yet, but there has to be at least one -somewhere- on this planet. And transportation? I think there's a shop right down the street selling hover cars." she said, almost radiating cheerfulness, her eyes dancing with a joyful fire.
"Wait. Doesn't Kruck have a transportation shop? Or was it weapons? Well, he's here in Fyia, and if we can find him, maybe we can get a discount on a vehicle." she said buoyantly, and stood up, dusting her cheery yellow dress off and tying her long hair back with a yellow ribbon.

Triunis walked towards the door, taking a small pouch out of his robe.
"Money is no object. One of the stones in this bag could probably buy you the aristocrat's share of this city. And I've got plenty more bags."
He suddenly stopped at one of Chii's words and turned around.
"Kruck. Hmm. Figures that he'd find his way here. I think that there are more buisness opportunities here than there were on Ria."
He opened the door and walked outside into the bright sunlight, calling back to Vahn.
"Vahn! Are you coming along?"

Vahn looked longingly at the two empty bags on the ground in front of him. He missed that sugary substance, oh well. Hdonned a new smile abroad on his face and walked out of the door with his friends. He stopped in front of a poor woman sitting several steps away from the door. He pulled another one of the diamonds out of his pack and gave it to the woman.
"Here take this and that house as well. You deserve it friend."
The woman stood up gleefully and ran into the house. Vahn smiled after her and returned to the two Chii and Truinis. He looked at them with a face full of joy.
"I also have enough money to buy all that we need, dont hesitate to ask."

Chii sighed, she seemed to be the only one who didn't have an endless supply of money, but then again, she didn't need it. She didn't need housing, only ate when she wanted something to take her mind off things, and needed nothing to drink. The one thing she did need money for was buying cotton candy and chocolate, and her bag provided an endless amount of cotton candy when it wanted to and chocolate really wasn't that expensive.
"Well then, I suppose, if we wanted, you could get one of those new, really spiffy speeders that go so incredibly fast and have built in snack machines." she smiled excitedly. She loved going shopping, even if it was only for a vehicle. She looked up 2 feet or so to Truinis' face, biting her lip as she watched him talk.
"So, where to?" she asked.

Triunis closed one eye in thought.
"Err . . . Yes. Yes, I think transport is good. Let us find something light that can carry . . . oh, three people at least, I should think."
He started walking down the street, stopped, and turned around.
"Although, it might be helpful if I knew where the shop was . . ."

"Only slightly." Chii said, grinning. "Though we could wander around until we found a shop or someone got so tired of seeing us wandering around they told us where one is."
She glanced down at her shoes and rubbed them against the grass, trying to get the splotches of mud off. Putting her hands in her pockets, she dug out the stone she had found in Mythril Beach at Ria. It was still a rich lavendar colour, radiating a glow of the same colour.
"Heh. I can't believe I've still got this." she murmered and put it away absentmindedly.

Triunis rolled his eyes and sighed.
"Actually, I think we're better off just wandering. I haven't the slightest idea where anything is."
He suddenly felt a cold dread around him. He looked up and down the street, but could see nothing. He sensed that it was purely self-contained, that it didn't apply to those around him. The Treachu closed his eyes and thought.
I'm not the only one from my galaxy here . . .
One of his best friends had been a psychic, and had tried to show the king a little of his clairvoyant abilities. He was not fully successful, but knew a little about seeing the world outside of his normal perception.
I am going to be in quite a lot of trouble if I'm not careful . . .
Triunis shook his head.
"Chii. Who have you seen here that is not native or from Ria? I need to know who is here from out of my galaxy."

"Hm.. Well, the only people I've met at the moment are you, Kruck, and this odd elvish girl." she said. "Why?" she asked curiously, trying to remember if he'd ever said something about his history.
He -did- say something about being a king in the Wastelands so long ago.. Didn't he? Perhaps he was a well-liked king and by some odd chance, he landed here and now they want him back. But then, why would he be worried? she pursed her lips, deep in thought.
The memory of Trunis' stricken gaze as he asked her where Saya was drifted past her. She closed her eyes abruptly, as if she wanted to shut the memory out.
He wouldn't.. He couldn't.. Or could he? She was thoroughly frustrated at this point. Not only was she not sure if Truinis was in love with this Saya, she also had no clue how -she- could care for him.
I'm a robot, for heavens sakes. I'm not supposed to fall in love..

Triunis cursed under his breath. At least she didn't mention anyone he was afraid of.
"Because the people who killed me have probably figured out by now that they failed, and they'll no doubt be looking for me. I can think of three people who would want me dead, and have the initiative to look for me."
Ceylette Ardetteros. Queltanis Lexorudo. Alexander Tsluven.
Triunis shook his head again. He really did not want to have to deal with the three of them. Even one would be irksome.
"I ask partly for my own safety, and partly because . . . well, I want to find Saya."
He missed the sprite deeply. When last he had seen her - during his battle with Oni-Aoshi - he had felt so strongly for her that he would've been willing to sacrifice his own life for her. He prayed she had survived that fight . . .

"The people who killed you didn't -fail-, you were most definantly dead for awhile, they just didn't quite suceed." she said objectively. "If you don't mind me asking, why did they kill you?"
There's no way. I can already tell he has deep feelings for this Saya. It's better if I don't tell him. Perhaps, I'll just start forgetting. She racked her brain for easy ways to get out, while she got enveloped in her thoughts.
"Partly because . . . well, I want to find Saya." he said, bringing her abruptly out her thoughts. Speak of the devil. she thought almost crossly.
"You don't happen to be in love with this Saya, do you?" she asked, trying to put on an air of nonchalance.

Vahn looked around them as he walked and finally spotted a shop down the street that had a sign on the window saying Top-o-da-line speedas cheep! He walked back to his two companions. He stopped next to the both of them.
"I'm sorry to interupt your conversation, but I have found the correct shop I believe. Should we go?"

"Ah! Excellent!"
Triunis began walking down the street, talking with Chii as he did. Both of her questions were tender subjects, but he didn't mind too much . . .
"Well, I . . . did some things which were questionable during my reign. Some would suggest them to be tyrranical, but . . . I always felt I was doing things in the best interest of my kingdom. Still, what I did was not always either legal or right. In any case, six people banded together, got their various armies, and attacked."
He sighed, and his gaze was fixated on the ground as he rememberd. Trillions of massive insects, enormous war machines, and well-armed foot soldiers. Even his elite guard was not able to keep everything safe. He didn't even know what had happened to his friends.
"The six cornered me and fought against me. Even with my two best captains and a creature we call The Everlasting, I was defeated. Why I woke up on Ria, I may never know."
He came to the store and stopped outside it. Peering through the windows, he addressed Chii's second question.
" . . . I think I do love Saya. I know that I'd give up my life for her, even knowing that it might mean disaster for my kingdom. It's a difficult feeling to cope with . . ."

Chii smiled gratefully at Vahn, dipping her head slightly in thanks. She looked back at Truinis as he explained what had happened and what caused someone from his homeplanet to come and hunt him down.
Speechless, she simply looked down at the folds of the soft, light yellow fabric of her dress. Every stitch had been perfectly planned and just as perfectly executed; there was not a single mistake in the entire dress.
Why isn't life that way? Or perhaps it is, but we're the seamtresses without the blueprints, not the designers. she stole a glance at Truinis while he was looking inside the storie, wondering why she was attracted to him.
"Willing to give your life up to someone does sound like love. To me, at least." she said, feeling a sharp pain wrench in her chest. Although the smile plastered to her face stayed, the dancing fire in her eyes did not. It windled away until her eyes looked almost cold, indifferent. There wasn't much she could do at the moment, other than wait. So wait she would.
She opened the door, motioning for her friends to come in. The vehicle wasn't going to be hers, after all.
