The calmness of the lake was momentarily disturbed as a tall white creature, still fully clothed in his shimmering robe, descended into the pond. The reflection of the stars in the waters rippled as Alexander let the water close over him until he was up to his sholders, then leapt out into the lake, swimming out to the middle. He dove down, surfacing minutes later with a large fish. He inclinded his head, saying a few choice prayers to Gaea, and then swallowed it whole.
Slowly, he turned and swam for a long dock. climbing out of the water, he sat upon it, his robes drying almost instantly. Laying on his back he stared up into the night.
Fyia isn't much different from Slive in a lot of ways . . .

Tari paced herself slowly as she walked around the lake. Her golden blonde hair was done up neatly in a bun. She was wearing long flared jeans, a white tanktop, and a jean jacket over that. The cool night air splashed against her face as she stripped down to her orange Hawaiian printed bikini. The moonlight saw right through the water creating what seemed to be an underwater flashlight.
She threw her clothes down on the banks and slowly drifted into the water. The water encaved her body in a liquid blanket. She waded through the water then splashed into the deeper end. The stray hairs that had fallen from her bun flaoted about her face as she looked up at the surface from underwater.
Not to long after she resurfaced and gasped for air. She slicked back her hair and just floated about the surafce, not thinking about the day before.

Alexander looked over in the direction of the noise he heard with one eye, while the other one continued to stare into space. He rolled over on his stomach, looking out to where the human was swimming.
Hmm.
[glow=blue,2,300]Safe. Don't worry about her.[/glow]
Alexander felt slightly more at ease with this assurance. He crawled slowly forward and slid into the water. The angel-born began swimming at an angle, using only his wings and tail to move, and making virtually no noise. He looked straight up at the girl, and felt his magic begin to form gills on his neck as his lungs ran out of air. Breathing comfortably within seconds, he tried to decide whether to make his presence known or not.

DarkUmbra was meditating on the beach in silent contemplation. The one known as Prokhorov had not yet surfaced. It had been many days and he was still meditating, his tortured mind gaining more of a burden to bear. He thought that perhaps it was for the best as he could now control his emotions. But he could never fully forgive himself for what had happened. Enough meditation now. He noticed the human swimming in the miniscule garb, and thought he might sense another creature, but could not be sure. He decided to leave well enough alone and crawled into a tree, emmitting his mist to conceal himself. Perhaps, he thought, one of these creatures could assist him in the way he needed.

Even while pondering what to do, Alexander's essence felt the presence of another. He surfaced about twenty feet from his former target, barely making a single ripple in the surface of the pond. He saw an odd blackness eminating from the shore.
[glow=blue,2,300]Do not fear this one, but keep your wits about you.[/glow]
Alexander swam to the shore, leapt out of the water, and hovered in the air, flapping his wings to stay aloft. He looked in the direction of the disturbance and called out, but kept his hand on the hilt of his parrying dagger.
"Who's there? Do not fear me!"

DarkUmbra was astounded by the creature's speed and inconspicuousness. He leaped from the tree emitting his shoud of shadows around him and landed on a black-floating platform inches from the other being. Secretly, within his mist, he began charging his shadow magic for an attack, just in case.
[glow=purple,2,300]I am DarkUmbra, creature of the shade. Who are you?[/glow]
DarkUmbra asked. He sensed an overwhelming amount of magic power within this one. Perhaps this was the companion he was seeking.

"I am Alexander. I am . . . not from Fyia."
An understatement at best, but Alexander was in no mood for an explaination.
"If you do not hurt me, I will grant you the same protection."
To show this, he moved his hands away from his dagger. The angel-born knew that he was far more dangerous unarmed, but said nothing of this.

Tari opened her eyes, their green color peicering through the dark night. Her blonde hair floated in the water. She just stared at the two...not bothered the least.
"And I'm Tari. Nice, to see ya again DarkUmbra." she finally, said.
She then stod up, the water coming to her waist. She sclicked back hair once more than continued watch as the two spoke. The cool night air was chilling against her wet, bare arms.

Alexander did a backflip and dove into the water, swimming along the lake's bottom. He came up behind Tari.
"It is good to meet you, Tari. If you did not hear, I'm Alexander. Good to meet you."
The angel-born looked back at DarkUmbra. He wondered what forces could conspire to make a being such as that.

Tari whipped around, her blonde hair slicing through the night air. She looked at him funny then smiled and nodded.
"Nice, to meet you too, Alexander." she said politely
She had her human father's tough act, but her elven mother's beauty and grace as she wadded through the water.
The water consumed her body, its warmth soothing her cold skin.

DarkUmbra saw that nothing interesting was happening here. He succeeded to the darkest spot on the shore, withdrew his shroud of shadows, and began to meditate.
[glow=purple,2,300]Yes Tari, it is nice to see you again as well.[/glow]

Alexander looked from one to the other.
"Mmm. Where have you met previously?"
He probably could have figured it out by listening to his essence, but emotions of others could cloud it, so he decided to take the direct approach.

"Zzzzz(peh whatever the sound of a snore is)"
A faint snoring sound coould be heard if someone was trying hard enough. It came drifting through the trees, the soft wind making it sound somewhat like music of some sort.
It was Kruck, asleep in a tree nearby this trio. His chest heaved in and out as he breathed very faintly, a sure sign that he was in a fairly deep sleep.
It was one of his favorite places to sleep, high up in the trees. It reminded him of his homeland, though he did not know why. On this particular night he had come to Sumpa lake after a full day, robbing a bank and after stashing the money at his hideout, meeting some friends at a bar.
The reason he'd decided to come here to sleep was the trees here were soft, and it was never too cold to sleep up in the trees. So Kruck slept, unaware of the conversation below him.

Alexander slowly turned his head to where a human was napping in a tree. The man, obviously one who enjoyed his sleep, seemed too placid for Alexander to wake him.
"DarkUmbra, would you mind terribly poking that man and seeing what he's doing? I'm certain that things live in this lake that could make a meal of him quite quickly."
[glow=blue,2,300]IQ of a trampled snail, but not without strength. Do not underestimate him nor rely on him entirely.[/glow]

Peh. Poking was not violent enough for the tortured mind of DarkUmbra. He decided to take his own approach to waking the creature. The shadows around the tree twisted themselves into a large blade as DarkUmbra stood in deep contemplation. He slid the blade through the tree, then shoved the tree with a no longer blade but pillar of shadows.
